The bridge works are no completed and there is a new bridge in place. So it would be a good time for the CO to check if this spot is still viable for a cache.

Perhaps it's time for the cache owner to make a visit to this cache as it would appear to be in need of owner intervention. I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

3.2 hunters for 20 mins. Unfortunate DNF hope its there and we just couldn't see it.
I fear this Cache my have succumb to the floods on Thursday. Quite a lot of damage to the land around.
TFTC. I really like that one. For those having trouble with my clue is it's not as difficult as you think it is.
Here with lochb and G;' of GJMMelb on a detour from an afternoon targeting multis, we searched for quite some time for this one, some curious muggles spotting our GPSs and enquiring if we were playing one of those GPS games (um yes, oops...) More searching, no luck. The coordinates didn't seem right, and we couldn't find this cache anywhere (although surprisingly number of non-hides were investigated and along with the wood-rot it's a wonder this bridge is still servicable!...) :-\
Torrential rain again plagued the Geopop and Geo grandson. Two attempts covering what we thought were likely locations. To no avail, suggesting a wait for better weather to return. Creek flowing too fast to recover an errant grandson complicating search endeavors. Will be back next we are up this way.
Thanks for the micro. Nice little hide. Spent time looking for it in seriously hard places before finding it in a far simpler location. Thanks for the cache. Cute little hide.
On a hike in the area to try my hand at some bird photography, and of course, to find some caches.. Some happy Wood Ducks waddling around the bridge, and a family of kangaroos watching on from just across the fence... how's the serenity! Spotted a few of these containers now, so no dramas with this one. TFTC!
No trolling we found it. Nice spot here. Reminds us of our younger days when we used to live in the area and used to even ride our bikes! Seems like a lifetime ago. Well perhaps it was... It was pre kids!
I didn't think I was familiar with Norwegian fairytales but evidently I am...maybe I never attributed that story to Norway?
The ground was wet and the little creek here was very, very high... I was concerned, on approach that I would not be able to get to the cache, or worse, that it would have washed away, but lo and behold, there it was. Nice and easy, and in no immediate danger of being washed away.
I was eking out the kids a bit by not necessarily stating the "last cache" today, despite being asked, but we all had wet feet and lunch was a car journey home, and we would only get two more in the end.

Clever hide and it would have been a nice spot except for all the rain we have had. TFTC.

We'd been out here before a got a few nearby caches, but ran out of time to do this one, and there were a lot of people out and about that day. Not so today, a miserable day for weather but looking good for stealthiness. Found it quickly, log is indeed full. thanks for the cache!
Found it! After celebrating dear friend's 50th wedding anniversary, I stopped here for a short walk and a couple of caches. As I approached GZ, I thought I was going to be in for a long drawn out scramble in dark places whilst trying to avoid approaching Muggle from 4 different directions! Happily, I was wrong! TFTC SL
Out for a ride with Maulstar helping grab some caches before he returns to Germany. Log book was full here but Maustar managed to squeeze his mark on it.
As I approached the cache, I spotted a dad with a couple of kids lurking near the GZ. Sure enough they were looking for the cache. Turns out they were just starting out in this activity. I was able to lend a helping hand after spotting the camoed cache. Hi Mitch - Good luck with geocaching.
Thanks thomasgm2007 - Nice spot.
Thanks thomasgm2007 - Nice spot.
Found with Mark9375. We decided to check out an unfamiliar part of town and what a discovery! Quick find and not too many muggles around. Beautiful park .TFTC thomasgsm2007
Find #209 @ 12 March 2016 12:24 pm thanks for this cache will update log later tftc thomasgm2007
TFTC thomasgm2007. A quick find after a pleasant walk. Luckily I know my fairy tales...Jimmytherat
Found easily enough by scarletlake14, I was following the GPS too much which had me no where near the bridge. Something in that creek smelt awful, but saw two lovely owls which more than made up for the damage to the senses! TFTC

A handful (well, a few of them) of caches stand between me and my next milestone, so I've decided that Leap Day is a good one to hit 3000... So here I am, haring around near the Yarra and Plenty Rivers.
There were a few new caches in Banyule Flats, so I decided to visit them on foot. This first grab was easier than I'd thought it might have been, as I spotted something clever but familiar before foolishly getting dirtier than necessary. Nice work.
Thanks, Thomasgm2007, for the smiley.
Ten to go.

Nice find while out walking. Geoson 1 spotted the container with his eagle eyes!@TFTC
Our first ever aussie find. Landed this morning from UK. Back to Mr Mo's roots for a family Xmas visit.
I had been to yet another retirement party at my ex-work and decided to find a few caches afterwards to work off some of the calories. I found a nearby cache and then drove the km or so to this cache.
I parked in Banyule Rd about halfway between this cache and the CO's other nearby cache. I walked in from the road and then followed the Main Yarra Trail to GZ. Not long after arriving at GZ I spotted a familiar hiding MO. I retrieved the cache and signed the log at 5:55 pm. TNLN. I then headed to the CO's other cache.
Thanks thomasgm2007 for the nicely camo'd cache and for bringing me to this lovely spot on the Banyule Wetlands.

Too many muggles, paired with a distrust of my balance and wanting to stay dry; meant I had to give up on this one. It was probably really obvious too.
Over near Northland for a dental appointment so as a treat for suffering all that pain surely a geocache or two is in order.
Nice hide, had me looking in other places.
Thanks for placing this cache thomasgm2007

Great area to be out and about in. Nice camouflage and no trolls so all in all a good cache. Thanks for bringing me here.
Couldn't find the cache initially but had a think and was then onto it pretty quickly. TFTC.
Found at 17:07
After grabbing the new nearby cache I came back across here to where I was parked. A quick find here with spot on coords. I don't know much about Norwegian fairy tales but normal standard ones help here as well.
Thanks thomasgm2007 for the cache.

Took a small detour from my way home from lunch at my old workplace to find this one at 2:20pm. Initially looked for a different type of hide before spotting it.
thanks thomasgm2007

On my way home from Ivanhoe this afternoon I decided to stop by and pick up a few caches along the Main Yarra Trail.
This was my third and final find and ended up being a 'walk and grab'. Having visited a few troll caches I went straight to the likely hiding place but was very surprised by the cache container. Do trolls collect them?
Thanks for bringing me here.

Walked across to this cache and soon had the log signed. Decided to follow the trail a little more before heading to Eltham to baby sit.

Finally got around to logging this one ! I've had this on the to do list since it was listed, a sole green lunch box in a sea of smiles close to home, but I just haven't been nearby at the right time.
I had to be surprisingly sneaky with this one considering the time of day but it was an easy find in the end
TNLNSL. Cache is in excellent condition. TFTC

This was our third and last for the day. Such a beautiful walk around the lakes. Nice tricksy cache!
I had a day off so what better to do than to clear up a few caches. This was my fourteenth cache for the day. Today I was clearing a few caches in the area so I had a chance to attempt this one. A quick find. TFTC.
Out with TinkerTraveller and my Geokid#1 for a quick spot of caching. It was getting dark and geokid was getting anxious particularly as we took the short cut across the grass from the road. An easy find once we arrived. Nice to come down to the actual path after driving past this way many times.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Last find for the day with Jeckleberryandtedd. Headed to the GZ quickly before the darkness set in. Found easily by jeckleberryandtedd, muggle jogged past, signed log and then returned the cache to it's home. Great spot, excellent bike paths too. tftc
Nice place for a cache. There was a pen right next to it and I still didn't see it because I was looking for a magnet! Tftc.
Sun came out today so just had to head out for a cycle with geoson. Have been here before but this cache is more recent. Kind of neat, when we stopped riding we were already in the right spot. TFTC.
I know this area well from bird watching days so was able to go straight to this one and made a quick find. I stopped for a minute or two recalling past visits.
Out for an afternoon stroll with the kids around the wetlands. There were less bike riders than usual which made for a peaceful walk and an easy find (by the young daughter).
We found an ipod on the path during our travels but were able to reunite it with its owner soon after so good deed (and caching) accomplished for the day we headed home.
Cheers thomasgm2007, thanks for the fun.

I ended up with big mud patches on my jeans, then found the cache. I had my oldest son with us today who is far from a fan of caching, but he loved the container.
Thanks for the cache thomasgm2007 and congratulations on your first hide. I hope there is many more to follow.

We found a convenient place to park the car and quickly walked the 100 metres to GZ as it was getting dark and the air was chill. It was still light enough to spot the well camouflaged cache at 17:15 and as we signed the log we noticed a group of kangaroos settling down for the night in the nearby paddock. TFTC
Nice easy find for a sunny morning stroll with geomutt, even with workmen having morning smoko not far away!

Stopped by here while on the way to work this morning for a nice quick find at 09:30, more thanks to the cache name than the coordinates which seemed to be about 14 or so metres out. I've placed the ones I took here for reference (S37° 44.718 E145° 05.195).

Had some spare time to drop past and grab this newly published cache. The coordinates are about 20m out, but the name of the cache gives a fair indication of where to look. Also the date placed seems a bit odd, 16th January ? Thanks for the cache here, I have grabbed all the nearby caches a while ago and returning here reminds me of those finds. With so many of these new "off the shelf" caches, Carl must be making money hand over fist down there. Signed in 3rd place
