Hi 2y'stassies. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5184 and I found it on Thursday 24 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing Waiting For The Ferry: The Bridge. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 1. Hobart to Devonport via the central highlands. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2123 and was found on 24/10/2024 at 19:07FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Yaya avenged prior dnf. How did I miss that last time I am certain I checked there. Ah well at least that blue face is now a smiley on my map. TFTC 2ystassies
Yayayay ohhh I'm blinded by de lightThanks For The CacheINFORMATIONFind (EST)/SL Time:5m/14:19TODAY FINDS/DNF:4/0Finder Note: All SYSTEMS GO ON THIS CACHE!
Two of us had come looking for this cache last year but had no luck. Could it have been because we had had lunch across the road? I doubt it, but anything is possible.Today I visited and straight up find the cache!! How does that happen? I swear I looked there last time. Not to worry, another blue face on my map has now turned golden yellow!Only another nine or so hours before I have to board the ferry . Its been a magical couple of months here but its time for me to head back to my bricks and mortar home and park my house on wheels up until Easter then off to Canberra for the Mega event TFTC 2ystassies Keep smiling
We did a maintenance check this morning and the cache is still in place waiting to be found.
This afternoon we did a maintenance run on four caches which had one or more DNFs since the last find. Three of the caches were still in place. We are reasonably confident that the one we could not locate is still there but after 20 minutes of hunting, we left a replacement cache. Of the three we found, two had cache creep of varying degrees (presumably not having been replaced where it was initially hidden on one or more occasions) and the third was within 1m of where it was hidden. This cache was in the location where we placed it on 15 December. We would have been quite concerned if it had gone missing within three days. Rest assured, all is well here.
Our caching mojo has vanished into thin air. We knew the CO had just replaced this one last week but we had absolutely no ideas at GZ. We must be cache blind today this would be about our 10th dnf of the day . Good job tomorrow will come and hopefully we will be back in the game. Will return to this one when we come back to Devonport. TFTH
While in the area today, we checked on this cache. There is evidence that the cache has had a recent altercation with a mower or slasher as there were a number of pieces of coloured or painted plastic. A replacement cache has been left in place with the same coordinates and hints.
After lunch we all wandered across the road to see if I could find this cache. It seems today it doesn’t want to be found by me! Another day and another cache

Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies.
Walked to this one after parking to find the one at the yacht club. There are lots of roadworks happening along River road at the moment, so my biggest concern was having to find the cache whilst being watched by roadworkers. However, they were out of sight making a nice quick find at GZ.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to 2y'stassies for the generation of this nice cache Waiting For The Ferry: The Bridge (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
This was our first in Tasmania.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Out for an early evening stroll with The X-Trailers. Started off looking for this cache and ended up with 5 finds . A nice time to be out walking. Cache all ok. TFTC
Oh yeah! I had to wait a long time for the ferry, but I still only made this one and a multi-cache and then preferred to sit in the shade in the terminal, eat and feed the smartphone with electricity.
Nice easy find, have to be very careful getting up to it and very careful when going back down, make sure not to slip
We are starting to change our caches to Premium Only because we have become increasingly frustrated with some finders who
* have logged a find without signing the logbook
* not taken care by replacing the camo after finding a cache
* shifting the location of a cache to "an easier find"
These unthinking actions have resulted in a significant increase in maintenance, time we could better use for caching.
We had deliberately made our caches available to all who want to cache but as some are not showing respect, we are reluctantly changing many to Premium Only. We apologise to those responsible cachers who are not Premium Members but we have reached the tipping point.

Found it was a funny find with the kids left a littke something in it for the next person
We checked on this cache while doing a maintenance run this morning. The cache was indeed missing. It has been replaced - same location, same hint and same size. Please ensure that it is well hidden after you sign the logbook.
A lovely cloudless warm day for some caching! Having a late start to the day but no better time to start than now! Geosis abb is with me today! On approach to this cache it seems we picked the steepest side to approach the cache after walking up geosis had to prove she can also do it unassisted a few slips and we had cache in hand!
Thanks for the find Sue and Phil, cache in perfect condition.

After searching in all the wrong places and even coming across a dead gull, I spied a likely spot and there it was. Tftc. Looked for 2 others in the immediate area but they seem to require bush bashing and better shoes.
Tftc, last one for the day. Missed a few in the middle but ill come back for them. Thanks 2y's tassies for the series!
We had a giggle here. Found it eventually when PP1 remembered to listen to "she who must be obeyed" TFTC 2y'stassies
Down in Tassie for a break before Christmas and continuing our travels around the country, wow the countryside is absolutely glorious. Happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
Visiting from Townsville and continuing our anti-clockwise loop. Launceston and Davenport today.
Only 66m from the accomodation made it an easy decision. Another LGA ticked off. Cache was a little wet but the log was okay.
Thanks 2y'stassies for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Geosister got her hands on it quickly this time tried to find it a couple months ago and look everywhere else but there ha ha TFTC
We are spending the day in the North West exploring and collecting as many outstanding and previous dnf caches as practical. It’s a beautiful winters day a full blanket of frost everywhere this morning and as the sun rises the mist does too. Wonderfully crisp and sunny.
This one had us driving around in circles for a little while just gauging the best place to park, but once we did we had a nice stroll to gz. A few more muggles around now so a bit of stealth required. TFTC

Visiting my partner up north and decided to check out some caches on the way home. Beautiful area. Thank you
Stopped here in freezer like conditions on my way to Latrobe. Cache in good order as per hint.
Cheers

An early morning find on my way out of Devonport heading home to a family Easter BBQ. Lovely new container and log. Found with ease which is nice, thanks 2y'stassies for all your hides.
Loving doing this cool series.

Appears that the cache may have been the victim of a cleanup. It has now been replaced. And for those who think otherwise, the hint is very accurate - it just depends on the searcher's perspective and assumptions.
Couldn’t find today, heads up tho slippery ground nice cut on the palm to taunt me ahah
Found today after visiting this site before. Looked in the wrong places (according to the clue), and combined with constant traffic, I gave up. On today's visit took much more notice of the location showing on the app. and went straight to GZ. So my advice is to disregard the clue.

Great our enjoyed journey along trip from Devonport. where we stay at Devonport for 7 nights. Found your cache today. 2y'stassies, thank you so much for placing it.
Saw it on approach while waiting for the boat. nice view of the river good cache.
We were still wandering our way back to the wounded car at the ferry terminal, and this was our second one for the day.
As the phones had next to no battery power so once again we used the force and fortunately we spotted this one on approach and were able to make the quick find and sign.
