The log was impossible to sign as it was so waterlogged and mouldy
Lid was very very hard to get off.

Checking out the CO page, it looks like they will not maintain this Park&Grab series. Which is a shame, as this cache was a great concept. Message sent to the CO, if I can take over this Cache, otherwise it needs to be archived so others may place another great cache here.
Very wet log. Wet inside container. Cache was only openable with brute force using a dumped fire extinguisher.
Took a bit of effort to remove the top. Got there eventually. Signed a very damp log.
I had planned this day of caching all week. I headed off from Greystanes at 8am with my list of 56 caches and supplied with water, sandwiches, and a thermos, tea bags gloves and GPS.
I head south down Woodville Rd through Moorebank heathcote, waterfall, madden plains stopped at sublime point for a cuppa, then along Appin Rd and down to Cataract Dam. Then back up Baden Powell dr over to Appin, through Campbelltown, the M7, M4 and home, arriving at 1800. For 176 km, 32 finds, 5 DNF and 19 DNA for different reasons.
The finds today included meeting 2 groups of cachers on Baden Powell dr and I found my 1st ammo tin but now I have found 5, picked up 2 TBs, and the spillway was open at the dam.
It has been a great caching day. Buggered but now it is time to do some logging.
This was the 1st of the day it was great to grab my 1 st non urban cache I picked up the TB.
The log is wet and I did not have time to let it dry out for a while. Sorry. GREAT CACHE. TFTC.

Visited this one today to drop off a Trackable...see you my friend.
P.S. You were totally right about the spiders. There is one there that could push-start a car!

Visited here this morning hoping to drop off a TB I've been carting around in my work bag for the last 6 months and haven't achieved anything with.
Disappointing that the outer camouflage has gone and my TB wouldn't fit into what was left, also a lot of moisture was present inside.
It was too dark to search for outer layer.

Huge spiders everywhere i cant dovthis already walked into two of them im outa here
Another day, another cache, another find! Pulled up in peak hour but when I saw the Federal Police sign I felt a bit awkward approaching this one, hoping I don't get asked any questions about why I'm here. Spotted something sitting there as I saw the hint and it was CIH. Quickly removed the log and did the signing duties, replacing as found. Was a bit damp inside the container. Some decent work has gone into creating this cache container. Well done! Not sure if it is meant to be so exposed, but it is hidden from the road. The amount of rubbish dumped beyond the parking spot is really disappointing as this is a nice spot really. It would need a huge truck for a CITO! TFTC. #403

What a great sized cache. and like the secondary. A shame it has become a bit of a dumping ground though.
Thanks for the cache placement.
Thanks for the cache placement.
Nice to find a large cache so close to the road. We exchanged swaps and are still "glowing" thanks.
A quick park and grab as promised as a first find on my day out with Rainbow Spirit.

My GIFF plans had gone to mush, but with other commitments, and after going to Sculptures By The Sea, I was able to get down to the Sutherland Shire today for a few caches. Consolation prize?
Went for 9 and found them all. Then escaped before the rain arrived.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Don't you just love those ANSTO security signs?
Quick find after pulling off the road into a generous parking area. Was right where the iPhone was pointing.
Pity about all the dumped rubbish here, though.
A favourite for the inner cache container. That got a laugh out of me.
Then out of there quick...

Can easily park within a few metres of GZ for a quick park and grab but suggest terrain rating needs to be a bit higher as I had to precariously balance on uneven ground while retrieving and signing the log. Bit of a drop if I’d lost my footing or hadn’t changed shoes to something sturdier. Also a bit worried about GZ being so close to warning signs about police surveillance in this restricted area. While right on the border, any loitering activity can still arouse suspicion around here. Sizeable cache, spotted quickly, but just kept on going and bigger than expected!
A day off work today, and driving past NOT in peak hour. Decided to stop. A quick find, and definitely enjoyed the container.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Incensed.
best wishes,
Wal

This one wasn't hard to find but is one of my favourites due to the container. Don't get irradiated!!
Hahaha! Great cache!! And an awesome one for a park and grab!! Thanks for the effort!!!
I heard about this hide from the CO before I had even heard of Geocaching... the cammo and container made me feel even more suspicious than parking next to the AFP sign made me feel.. a great hide that's taken plenty of effort, took Nothing left the workaholic Monkey geokrety. TFTC!
This certainly was a park and grab, and a big one too! An easy find. As long as its closed properly, no water is ever going to get into that thing! Thanks

Great to find a 'park & grab' cache that isn't a micro! We went on to find one more in this series, also a regular. Makes it very appealing to come back and complete the series if all them are on this scale!
Anyway, this cache. Bikerbuddy spotted it quickly and opened it up to find the well decorated inner container. Loved it .
Thanks

We managed to not drive too fast this time to stop here. Easy find, great container! Loved the idea, it had my kids worrying about it TFTC!
What a spot great cache. Was a bit hesitant at first wasn't sure what to look for amidst all this mess but soon became obvious tftc
Like the cache, hate the location. Never saw that much rubbish left on the side of the road, its a real shame! Finally had the right coords wich made for a quick and easy find.

HOLY Large Hadron Collider!!! That's bigger than the one inside Lucas Height.
Was real hesitant extracting the rod as (1) there wasn't any heavy water (or real water even) inside the containment vessel; posing a high meltdown possibility(???), and (2) seriously, the signage approaching GZ made me wonder what the patrol might think if they see me carry it back to the car for signing!
I'm still all a-glow after this find. May this cache have a really long half-life.
You asked for an FP for this container, Incensed? You got it!

I managed to beat the morning traffic and a break meant I could tackle this going the wrong way this morning. TFTC!
Stopped for this cache on my way home from a visit to the amazing relocated Engineer Museum which is due to open in June. There is a lot of rubbish - I was sorry I didn't have gloves and a garbage bag, but the cache seems safe enough although quite exposed. Laughed at the log book. TFTC
TFTC,
Building towards my 2500th find soon and this is our last cache for the day.
Visited trackables gathering for a trip to the Mega.

After three DNFs in this series yesterday, I was actually able to find one on my way home today! There is lots of rubbish dumped here, and the smell of the nearby landfill was wafting on the breeze. Certainly not a spot I have stopped at before. I guess sometimes it really is all about the numbers!
Cheers

Early start, cheated for sotherland shire for some caching, picked this on on our way. Lot of rubbish here . TFTC
On the way to Wollongong stopped for a quick streak cache. Grabbed a Geocoin. Lots of trash around the area. A good CITO candidate.
I parked, I grabbed and didn't run foul of the AFP..phew! TN, visited some TB's and dropped a geocoin and SL. TFTC Incensed.
A real candidate for a CITO this one.

A quick find before breakfast.
The cache seemed to have slid out of its housing spot. I put it back where I thought it should have been and placed a little something to hopefully stop it falling out again.
Thanks for the cache.

We parked under the signs that said trespassers will be prosecuted, $1000 fines apply & that the AFP patrol there area frequently. Seems that they indeed do. Ok so we did know that this was ANTSO land, but we were chasing a ftf & upon arrival laughed when we saw another vehicle parked here too. Nice to meet you Ozshockwave!! After a brief search & chat the cache was found & signing duties conducted. Returned to our cars & the welcoming committee . Tnsl tftc xo
Arrived and stopped, searched for about 20 minutes with no luck, was about to leave when Soldier Boys arrived, so decided to continue together, eventually we discovered it and claimed the FTF together. Thanks heaps Soldier Boys.
Upon returning to the cars, an AFP (Australian Federal Police) car was waiting for us. Apparently that area is land belonging to the Lucas Heights Reactor!!!!
A quick explanation of what we were dong, what Geocaching was and we were on our way. They were very professional and thanks for keeping us safe.
