Seeming that this place is full of muggles and haven’t been able to replace best archiving it for people to place caches
We couldn't find it, but I had a whingy child amongst our ranks and that's a total hunt killer.
We will be back.
We will be back.
I GZ. There were a number of muggles around (they were packing up their remote style control yachts). When they were gone I found the cache with no problems. TFTC jacko2484
Found but log wasnt placed in container properly so looks like its lost the lid to it. Log was wet.
Found it. Took us a while. We looked at the hint. Great geocache. We had fun. Our second find. Thanks jacko2484
First one we've done since moving to the area! What a great place for a walk Thanks !
Nice spot even at night! Looking at the wrong spot but then had a look and found it!
Focused more on the clue instead of the coordinates initially, so were scrambling under the wrong GZ! We certainly took in and appreciated the view, especially as the lid was rammed on TIGHT! Almost couldn't get it open were it not for He-Squirrel's teeth! Envious of the homes backing onto the lake. Sneaky Squirrels
Being in the area with the sun setting and breeze coming through after a really hot day I went for the short walk to this beautiful lake. After waiting for several muggles to walk away I quickly found it. TFTC
T-Tech and I have been staying at Cabarita Beach for a few days for our son's wedding, and it has been very busy with visitors coming and going, but finally today we can go geocaching! We took a run south to Ocean Shores, then sped up the freeway north to Chinderah and Fingal Head, then out via the old road to Duranbah. A fun outing, which gave us 18 finds and 2 DNFs.
After a quick detour to Bunnings, we headed south again and stopped to grab this cache as we went by. cache. It's a pretty spot, but perhaps it was just too hot at 1pm for the locals to be out as it was deserted and we made a quick find. TFTC, jacko2484.

Yay... probably our best geocaching day! This is a lovely spot and as you know what you are looking for - it was an easy find! TFTC!!

no problem the wife found it thanks for the cache
regards angel dust.

I was there about Step 4 with a DNF after (what I thought was) a thorough search of both likely spots, including undoing a bolt with only my hands! I'm often in the area so will monitor activity & wait.....
I know who HEC Beswick is, or rather why the park is named after him. But obviously by the blue frownie we didn't find it. Two phones and one garmin, all agreed on one spot that we did rest on in between eyes and hands checks. Perhaps we are misinterpreting the clue, perhaps the satellites weren't being helpful and had directed us to the wrong spot but we could not find it.
So let's back track to last Friday, I was at the Tweed Heads Historical Society flicking through their Parks files. Someone has been very busy and I think just about every named park in the Tweed Shire is listed there and the park names have all been researched. As I flicked though, HEC Beswick's entry caught my attention. Hang on isn't there a cache with that name? - yep there is. According to their records...
> *HEC owned the next door property for many years being one of the first residents at Lakeside Gardens Estate. he worked on the nearby reserve for many years planting trees and shrubs. He also visited neighbours who were in hospital, drove elderly neighbours to doctors and shops and helped many in their own gardens. It was officially opened by TSC Administrator Max Boyd 28/7/2006.*
The file also contains letters written in support of the naming proposal from residents of the area. I understand he no longer lives in the area.
Anyway, we're sorry we did not find the cache but am pleased to be able to assist with identifying Mr Beswick. Its a very nice area. Maybe next time we'll find it.

Not a bad little spot here.. a good place to sit and just enjoy the sunshine. As I passed through Tweed on the motorway it was a last minute decision to exit and try for a cache but the calendar date needed filling.
The find itself was no issues.. as you would expect from a low d/t cache. I found a wee bit of space on the scroll and in went my name just as a plane flew overhead ruining the serenity.
Thank you to the cache owner for hiding one here. The log needs replacing. Cheers.

Then realised it was a real screw but spotted the tic tac sized cache soon after
NEEDS A NEW LOG

I arrived at GZ to find a large collection of muggles sharing stories about the dogs. I managed to retrieve the cache, sign it and replace it without them even noticing my presence such was the enthusiasm with which they discussed their 4 legged friends.
And what a lovely lake, a great spot for a cache.
Thanks Jacko2484

Visiting Banora Point with a friend, staying on the other side of the lake so had to come get this cache. Unfortunately, the log is full, so took a picture instead of signing. TFTC
I was going to replace the log but unfortunately the logs i have were about 2mm to big for this cache.
Log will need to be replaced

Firstly I found the lid to this cache and thought OH No there is no cache and no log but soon I had the log in hand. I had to go back to the car to get a tool to assist me with this cache. There is only enough room for one more person to sign the log. TFTC
Caching with Samcheng. Model yacht racing going on at the lake but luckily the GZ was far
enough away that we could do a leisurely search. Cache quickly to hand. SL jeff949. Log now
nearly full. TFTC.

Caching with jeffrey949baker. A quick find. There is only room for two more signatures on the log. TFTC
Finding this cache was a bit of a funny experience. I hopped out of the car and wandered slowly as a couple were walking their dog through the park. After they had passed I approached GZ and spotted the cache quite quickly. I wanted to sit down on the bench and sign the log when all of a sudden, that is ALL OF A SUDDEN, a heavy storm started RIGHT THEN. I ducked behind the trunk of a nearby tree to try and shelter from the driven rain and hunched over to keep the log dry and sign it. Just then the dog walkers returned hurriedly trying to find shelter themselves. She was happy to keep going, but he wanted to shelter like me. She won and they continued on. I replaced the log and then the cache and took off at a run, (well as fast as I could go), back to the car. Jumping in and quite wet, I recorded my find on my caching page for the day and then drove off. Not long after I spotted the dog walkers absolutely drenched and still heading home. My goodness - that was SUDDEN! Thanks for the cache Jacko2484 and for the fun at GZ today.
Find No: 5043. Visiting from Newcastle, staying in Kingscliff, on Mondays the Twin Towns Radio Yacht Club race on the lake here, it's fun to watch, thanks for the cache jacko2484!!
A pleasant spot and a nice place to walk the geomuts. We did as instructed and Mr. Herbz soon spotted the cache. TFTC.
Spent all day travelling from Sydney to the Gold Coast and was keen to make a find close to the border. Chose this cache, parked nearby and began my search. Ended up searching the wrong structure for ages. When I finally moved, spotted it straight away. TFTC
Nice quick find after hunting a few others across the border. Now back home for a late dinner.
Found at 7.35pm on 11th October 2015. TFTC.

We are having a couple of night at Boyd's Bay caravan park before heading home.
This was an area we had not been to before so it was a very nice scenic drive, geocaching as we went.
Visited some great locations & found some interesting caches.
Thanks for placing this cache jacko2484

After a bit of a hunt we finally found it. Beautiful views. Forgot to bring a pen.
I found it! Hard for first one. Spent my whole day finding it and found it in such an easy place.
A constant trail of muggles made this one a little difficult but I finally cracked it ! Forgot my tweezers but selfied it anyway. Lovely spot but the identity of Beswick - By Hec! - I don't know .TFTC jacko2484
I have been on a #geocaching15 road trip for the past 7 days logging caches from Coolangatta down to Kempsey and back up to Tweed Heads. This is my last find for my road trip. TFTC
Printed this one in Perth and then found we were staying in this little estate in the next street! TFTHSL
