Unarchive a geocache

Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email or message centre) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Came out to the area for a FTF, but the cache wasn’t even placed! Decided to make use of the journey NoR and nab a few local caches before hitting up Floreat Draino (Nth Floreat Beach) for a swim. Only one on the beach and the water was great. Made it worth the failed trip.

The coords are way out. Thanks to previous lots which said it was the GT 20m away, I was able to find the cache. All in good condition. Cheers eagle2006! Big Grin

TFTC

Been a while since Cravo10 and I have ventured out to cache the burbs of Perth, with us both having a rare free day between moving houses, building walls, setting up retic and general stuff around each other's houses we decided to have a couple of hours to cache around the city of Stirling.

We cleaned up a good number of RossInPerth hides, which was a welcome change as we've had some difficulty with his over the years.

There was a great variety of caches around today. Some big, some small, some camoed, a few nano (love them)

Ended up with thirty odd finds and a number of great pics from where we started in Stirling and where we ended up in Claremont.

Ended on a little sour note with Me copping a 200 dollar find for speeding a little bit in the back roads of Claremont, much to the my annoyance as I wasn't speeding when I went past them going the other way, just forgot they were there.

Thanks for a great day out to the local COs.

13-Aug-17
Great find!

15-Jul-17
This morning we were out geocaching for no particular reason and while we were out we had 5 finds and 2 DNF's.

With assistance from other geocaches who lived across the road this geocache wasn't to hard to find!

TFTC!

That brings us to 230 finds now!

Cheers,

OK? asked this Tasmanian old fellow, "just what is a GT?" Then: "Well I suppose I am about to find out." With an eye on the approaching electrical storm on this night hunt, I set about the task of finding out. I almost abandoned the education exercise as the rain threatened to begin in earnest (I know how suddenly an electrical storm in Tassie turns into an absolute downpour...) but pride triggered enough perseverance to complete both the lesson and the cache find. Aha! It all makes sense now.... A top cache full of goodies eagle2006, I took nothing but added a water ball which I found a couple of days ago at GZ of a DNF that I think had been muggled (the thorough search at a DNF does sometimes yield a different sort of profit!). It was good to find a cache big enough to leave it in. I also added my calling card after signing the log. You have made my evening walk worthwhile with two smilies eagle2006, thank you.

27-Feb-16
This was a lovely little park, however the cache took me AGES to find! I was going back and forth, the GPS wouldn't settle down, lucky for me there was no one else in the park.

In between my wanderings a puppy dog escaped from a nearby house backing on to the park and came over to check me out, closely followed by its owner.

Then, just as I found the cache a mum and 2 girls arrived to play in the park, so I had to be quick and pick my replacement time very carefully.

Thanks for the cache eagle2006!

TFTC - nice park and good hide.

31-Dec-15
Have never had time to grab a cache on NYE before as having long found all the local ones the distance (and time) to travel to new ones was getting longer & longer! Now living in Perth however I have LOADS right back on my doorstep Smile Chuffed to finally tick this day off on the calendar Smile Having grabbed 'Tanked' nearby, I drove round to this one in the hope of making it 2/2 today. Had no idea what a GT was until I got to GZ...then the penny dropped and it was a nice easy find Smile Park was empty today, most likely everyone prepping for this evening's celebrations - which I what I'm now off to do too! TFTC & HNY Smile

Thanks for bringing me back here

02-Jun-15
I had a little difficulty with this one as it was very dark and I didn't know what GTs were. Eventually I worked out what was meant by GTs, and then I needed to find the right GT . The GTs slowly appeared one by one as I moved by tiny beam of light around the park. I was looking for something subtle, when it just leapt out at me suddenly. Nice hide. Tftc

Have been meaning to grab this since it was publish but a bit put off by some of the logs! Anyway needed one for today as a celebration of 15 years of geocaching. Nice quick find with m4yb.

Thanks eagle2006

02-May-15
I knew there was a reason I held off going for this cache: today was a day needed for my calendar as well as the 15 years of Geocaching celebration. Megawat60 and I enjoyed a quick walk to GZ where I managed an even quicker find, hopefully not observed by anyone. TFTC eagle 2006!
