Logs
Freezing cold outside today & very windy. Was gonna give up & then I spotted the little bugger! TFTC.
It was one of those ones where I kept going round and round in circles. At one point, I stopped and had a look through the logs, only to find out it was right in front of my face. TFTC
After a previous DNF here several years ago I can finally tick this one off my list. It took quite a bit of searching but finally there it was TFTC
Easter camping on the Murray required some day trips for caching. Quick find here. TFTC
Outnabout for some solo caching while travelling from The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide to the Capital GeoBash Mega in Canberra. Grabbed a couple of caches in the area on the way through increasing my LGA tally. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC Yullaba
This tricky little sucker had eluded me on multiple occasions, but not today!Located in mere moments.Looking at things from a different perspective can change your whole life. TFTC
A hint would be helpful to newbies like me. Experienced people don't need to look at them I'm sure.
Out and about with friends doing the silo trail. On our way back we checked this one out. Easy parking and muggle friend made the find. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache
A well concealed cache, thank you Yullaba for providing it. Found it with Xambo4u and muggles
Out and about today with Geowife and Geodog exploring the local area. There is a cool stiff breeze picking up. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Roadtripping with bogonghazy and littleboss 2. A bit of a stretch but got there in the end. Definitely a micro
Had to reach for this one. On our roadtrip with LittleBoss2 and Sorceysal. Thanks Yullaba
Mildura TripI joined a group of Canberra cachers to tackle the caches around Mildura. On our way home to Canberra now. A small-small that took us a while to spot. Thanks for the hide Yullaba
Bit tricky to see but found it.
Day 7 of our Mildura Madness trip . Been there and swung back south and now on our way home.
Thanks for getting me out and about Yullaba

Found with Joolay, kittykatch and Nibletricecakes on the last day of our trip to Mildura. Today, we are travelling from Numurkah to Canberra, finding random caches, trigs, and various other items of interest. This took a little while but eventually found by kittykatch. I would describe this as micro rather than small. Thanks to the cache owners who made our travels interesting.
Found during Mega event with 63Roos, ALL7, Crank1, DeafPhantom, DutchAus and Everlasting! Signed as 6ACDDE. Yullaba, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Thanks crank1 for replacing the bison hang up .
During Rutherglen Mega, Find, signed the log as EV. Thank you for the cache and hunt.

Lucky this only took a few minutes to find as I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes!! Tttc!!
Found finally. If it was a dog it would have bitten us lol. Was extremely wet inside so we dried as well as we could. Placed into dry zip lock and added dry log to it. TFTC
Another day to myself and with the yard to wet to do any work around the house I decided to head over to Yarrawonga/Mulwala and do some caching.
Looks like a good facility here for the locals to use. A nice quick find at GZ. Log in quite damp. Could just sign.
TFTC !

We are now camped along the edge of the mighty Murray River near Yarrawonga
A number of local caches to find & a few along the country roads, we enjoyed the tour of the area that the geocachers took us to.
Such a peaceful location we decided to stay another day & have Australia Day here watching all the activity on the water
Thankyou Yullaba for placing this cache.

Encountered a family doing exactly the same thing I was today. Always funny to encounter someone else at these remote little caches!
Quick stop in on the way by. The log is full and damp so I’ve added a new piece of paper in a plastic bag to keep it dry

Lucky to have a few days by the river at Yarrawonga, today our GPS'r headed us toward Shepparton in search of a few caches, we only got as far as "The Major" before we were surrounded by hidden treasure.
Our first stop, soon on with the game.
Thanks Yullaba for placing caches with interesting history.

Found by Aussie Train Driver 20/06/2021, find number 1595.
This was a quick stop after sunset whilst driving the back roads to Yarrawonga. I quickly spotted the cache. I didn't spot the bird roosting nearby which made me jump a mile when it suddenly bolted out of the tree! TFTC.

When I first moved to this area in 1986 we lived in Burramine and at 1 stage, the gift was a highlight of the social calendar (not a difficult feat in this back water during the 80s). Still, thanks for bringing me back to an area I enjoyed growing up in.
There's some event on here today. Fortunately the cache is well hidden from accidental discovery.
Yes easy to find but a little bit of a surprise moment when you do. Log is almost full FYI ️
After having a great few days caching in the area with Earthbound Chief, micaparamedic and Becknmonts we went our separate ways. We decided to head across to Echuca to pick up the Lab caches and anything else that popped up on screen.
Heading back towards Albury now from Echuca we stopped here to grab this one with a feeling of de-ja-vue. We had a quick look and thought that we had been here before and we were able to walk directly to the cache hide confirming our suspicions. We would have found this one about three years ago and somehow forget to log it which we are fixing this time around after re adding our name to the log.
Thanks Yullaba for showing us this spot, it's a shame that the Gifts have disappeared.

Quick and easy find, all looks to be in good order with the cache. Thanks heaps for the find.
Easterly is good. Thanks 4 the history lesson, makes it so interesting. Nice roads for cycling especially now we have a tailwind.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
A nice area for a break. Thanks for bringing us here. Cache found in good condition. Tftc
Maybe I'm just out of practice, but that took me forever to find lol! Left a little gift behind.
Was always going to head out today for the souvenir but when I was given the option on Thursday evening that I could do what I wanted the plan was to collect one of the local caches (and reduce my chances of filling all my calendar holes this month) to a trip somewhere where I could get a few more. Options were around Myrtleford where I still have a few to collect or further west - in what I will call the Wangaratta-Benalla-Yarrawonga triangle. With the weather forecast so much better than the last two days (yesterday in particular was disgusting) I chose the latter. Hadn’t realised that this was where the silo art was so that was an added bonus. Poked around and found a few interesting caches (and missed a few as well). Interesting all these little villages all had pubs (that were open for lunch) but no shops (I had a hankering for a dim sim but had no luck). A pleasant drive and even got to cache in the rain for about 30 minutes.
Next one on my journey. Read the interesting history and parked in the yard (love open gates). Took a three quarter circle at GZ before I spotted the cache. Log signed and on my way - but first went to use the facilities but they were like the one at the church earlier in the day so I went in the bushes instead!
