This one is so close to work, but because of the muggles, left this one until after the last flight, and a long day at Blairich. I see why it has good FP's.
Sad to see this popular one go, Cache has been removed and archived in line with new Geocaching placement rules.

Gotcha! Had to head off and come back as there were too many staff members around. Nice hide. I was happy to put my fingers on it. Tftc.
Nice quick find while waiting for our flight. Forgot my pen but have photo if CO wants to see. Gtftc
We were at the airport for a flight to Auckland and thence home, so we couldn’t resist this cache. Luckily it was what I anticipated so signed and returned as found. TFTC
Today we were on our way to Blenheim for a CITO event. We found many caches along the way. Some good, some eh, lets just call it a pill container. Anyway, once arriving at Blenheim we were then punched in the face with the fact that THERE'S NO ACCOMODATION.......... Lucky that we have a friend in Havelock .
A surprisingly quick find. Very clever container though. TFTC, capperz!

Final cache for the weekend after a conference in Blenheim. A quick grab while the other half cleared out the rental car. TFTC
Heading home after competing in the St Clair half marathon and our flight was delayed. Noticed this nearby cache so headed out to find it. Spotted the cache on our approach - thanks for the cache and helping to fill in time whilst waiting for our flight.
Not sure why, but I knew really quickly what this cache was going to be before evening being in sight of it... so it was a quick find after double parking a few metres away. Nice one! GLB1721 TFTC (4390)
I needed to use up my free AMEX flight and with no family trips planned, a day trip to Blenheim was arranged. Lots of cache varieties and different difficulties as well. There were too many caches to do individual logs. Thanks to all the COs. TFTC.
A nice easy cache to finish off this little trip south. Spotted it on approach and was pleased to find it indeed was the cache. Only had to pause momentarily for a rental car lady to walk away before making the grab. Nice one. TFTC!!!
At 50% on today's short mission I was to finish on this cache. I searched and searched and searched before something caught my eye - annoyingly I had searched every other similar spot much earlier but somehow missed this one.
This cache earns an FP from me to add to its collection.

Had to come over from Motueka this morning to pick someone up after their flight got canceled into Nelson yesterday so this filled a bit of time while waiting. Nice hide. TFTC
I love these types of caches, so in your face but not an intant find. A favourite from me. Thanks capperz
Went for this one while I was waiting for my flight to Auckland. Very quiet which made for a quick and easy grab. Tftc
I've been here before & had no joy. Had a bit of time to kill while waiting to pick up my husband. TFTC
Quick find this evening with eltee291 on the way back into Blenheim. Very cool cache! Have seen similar but this one is unique! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache! A favorite!
Quick find today with hingis20 as we head back to Blenheim from Greymouth and Punakaiki. This type of cache is always fun to find. Visiting NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada
Logged with CO permission: This morning I had to make a 0530 airport drop off, so decided to make this find with not a soul in sight! Because it was such an early start and I didn't plan to find any caches I didn't have a pen on me, and there wasn't any in the car I was using for the drop off - doh! Made the find anyway (super hide) and took a couple of pictures to check with CO about logging the find.
Thanks for the neat cache.

Great hide! I found after dropping off RJM1234 after he visited for my birthday. Tftc
Today we mostly targeted PnG caches to help boost our July numbers to go towards a challenge in the North Island, The weather was sunny but still with a chilly wind so was always warmer in the car than out of it. We managed 57 cache finds and ended the night on a high note with a FTF in the fresh snow and dark at St Arnaud. Overall we totaled 107 finds for the weekend - blowing the challenge out of the water!
Not exactly what we were looking for here but knew it was the cache as soon as we saw it. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache

After a spot of lunch, we headed back out again to see how many more caches we could find and this was first on our list. Minus the boy, who would have LOVED this, we set about our search. Didn't take very long, thankfully, as I had just finished watching some videos about caches similar to this and my brain clicked into gear.
Brilliantly done....nice to see this kind of cache out there.
Found with crman1 and FluffyUnicorn02. TFTC!

Oohhhhh I really liked this one. I don't think I ever would have spotted this if I had been on my own. Thankfully the more experienced cachers in the group were a bit more "thinky" today and found it. Now I'll keep my eyes open in the future. BRILLIANT. Favourite point for sure!

Damn, remembering this song makes me feel old. Been waiting for a hide like this. TFTC
We had to wait for a sudden influx of rental car men to leave before attempting this one, and had quite a look around before a quick scan of the hints gave us the clue we needed. Very clever, enjoyed this one, not the type of cache we thought we were searching for! Tftc.
Took me a while as I had no idea how much 'fat' this cache had to lose to become what it has.
Really wasn't expecting it to be what it was, but got desperate and therefore found it finally.
Another well-thought hide. TFTC

After some planning Shannonp1 and I got sorted for a mission into areas we hadn't been. Up to Hanmer through the Molesworth to Blenheim, down the Wairau valley to St Arnaud down the Shannandoa to Murchison and then home via the Lewis. 209 caches for the weekend and a pretty high success rate. Thanks to all the cache owners especially Bum and Worker and sorry for the cut and paste. Loved this hide, well worth a favorite!
A personal challenge day for us. Beat our 'most caches in a day. After a late start we left Motueka at 9:45 and headed south. First cache was about 50KM away. Once we got to SH63 it was park and grabs all the way to Blenheim. From there it was a few caches in town before a burger and a return to Motueka. Home 11:20pm with target achieved. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements.
A nice quick find with tmann and P.Emily while in the area for the weekend.

So a few weeks in the planning phase, me and Surveybase finally got out and about for a mission. Through Hanmer, up the Molesworth to Blenheim, across through St Arnaud, Murchison and then home. 209 caches for the weekend and a pretty high success rate. Thanks to all the cache owners and sorry for the cut and paste. Cheers.
First of three caches I walked to after checking in my suitcase for my flights back home to Melbourne. A quick find. TFTC
Our first cache in the area and this was the one to continue our streak... "Cache of the day",
Good camo, took a couple of minutes to fire up the synapses and make the connection!
Signed the log and returned to its hidey hole.

Out and about on a stifling Friday evening with Kiwimykl adding to my total by collecting as many local caches as I can. Each day he prepares a map with the target caches on it, but today he left it at work. So we swung by work to pick up the map prior to starting and he pointed out this one for me.
First time I've seen one like this and it deserves a FP.

After finding lots of places that it wasn't on our first visit, we came back and found it at last! Great hide TFTC
Hertz carpark area looked emptier so snuck in there. Initially flummoxed then spotted it. tftc
#1359 Walked to this one from a friends place nearby. Nice cache! All good at GZ.
Thanks for another South Island smilie.

A business trip to Blenheim allowed a clean up of a few outstanding caches on the trip. A nice quick find of a very sneaky cache. TFTC
Nice quick find, after arriving from Wellington on the smallest plane possible (well, nearly).
Great way to start our short 'Blenheim' convention & holiday weekend.

Unfortunately, we are heading off to home in Calfornia today, but did have a minute for a nicely done "send us off" cache! Thanks. Earns a favorite.
On the road to the MEGA - Day #1
I've been in here a couple of times but there has always been too many rental car people around and about, being busy.
Today I managed to find a gap in the traffic and headed over for a slowish find. Nice hide.

Off for a day trip to Blenheim with Streetgamer to visit Omaka to research a school project and to grab a few caches on the way.
Upon arrival I had an idea where the container might be but not how it might be concealed. It took a few minutes of searching but after standing back to have a think I then spotted the likely hiding place.
These sorts of hide always make me smile, so thanks for this one.

Gret hide took me a while couldn't log it manually though on the way back to auckland nice
After returning from Wellington today - grabbed this on the way to the car.
Had previously spied this on a walk and saved it for a day like today when I needed a QEF.
TFTC - clever hide - haven't seen many like this so far....

I have been saving this cache for a day when I don't have much time to get away from base to hunt for one. This seemed to be a good day for it having just spent a long day after an early start doing team building challenges and activities around Picton. Although we passed several caches there was no time to stop and look for them. A great hide here, TFTC capperz
#888. My first South Island cache! Over to Blenheim for a conference this weekend so had some time today to get out and about geocaching before the meeting starts tonight. This cache took a few minutes to get my caching radar working but a read of the description and it soon became obvious where it would be. Signed log and onto the road on a glorious sunny Marlborough afternoon. TFTC
Time for some caching while waiting for our plane to take us home after an enjoyable few days back in the home town of Blenheim.
Easily found, after we worked out what we were looking for.

sneak a park near, quick grab, sign and go before I get caught. A familiar hide.
Nice, and thanks.

Truly I thought this was going to be snap from the previous find - but it turned out to be much much better. TFTC #6707
Ah, we like this one. Something we hadn't seen before. We managed to retrieve and sign without looking like wallies. All the better TFTC.
Mrs SoBad was checking the area when a fellow cacher read the cache page - and spotted the likely hide. It was more than likely - it was correct. Like others, she has seen this type of hide before but it was very well executed and gets a favourite. Log signed as LISS for the 4 cachers travelling together today.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Gradually heading home after a big day out. - - - Just a few more to collect. Thanks for the cool hide .
Caching with Sidewaze, Isis58 & Mrs SoBad - the "LISS" team. I sat in the car "in case" while other team members looked. .. I could see the pennies dropping once the hint was re-read. A good one. TFTC
Had an afternoon in Blenheim and decided to hunt out a few of the caches that have appeared in the 6 months since I was last in this area. Parked out on the highway and walked in. I have found quite a few of this sort of hide before and the coordinates were good and accurate so this one was very quick I spotted it as I walked towards it. Signed log, TFTC
#9414. We pretended to be driving a rental car for a short period. I quickly spotted something interesting and it turned out to be the cache. TFTC.
I think this is my first visit to the airport, though have driven past several times before. The public car park seemed busy and the closest park was in the rental car area, so I sneakily parked there. StreetWalker hopped out to make the find while I stayed in the car in case an official type came by and we were pinged for illegal parking.
He soon returned with the cache, very appropriate hide, and after a bit of bother, he had the log book extracted ready for signing. We did the paperwork then cache replaced and we were on our way before anyone noticed our presence. Thanks for the hide, and a favourite for the execution.

I decided to get up early and head over the hills to Marlborough for the CITO event there today. I managed to pick up one or two caches along the way Now that I've read the listing properly I do know the song but I was never aware of the name of the band behind it. On approach I was actually associating the area with 'that song by Nazareth' or even 'that song by AC DC'... All good with the cache though. TFTC, Biggles.
A trip "over the hill" to attend my first CITO event meant we could also spend time finding some other caches too. Leaving home early, breakfast at Pelorus, caching interspersed with shopping, a walk along the Taylor Reserve walkway to stretch the legs, all added up to a fairly long but satisfying day before finally arriving home again after 9pm. Most logs were signed H & H or HM & HZ to save space on them.
This was our last cache for the day before heading home again. The area was surprisingly busy for the time of day/night but not too busy to thwart our endeavours. Having found this type of hide before helped but not before we had searched every other option thoroughly. Thank you capperz.

At last minute it came all together and attending the CITO event became priority but not exclusive to shopping, caching and recreation. How busy this place can be after hours is just amasing. Familiar with this kind of hide I was distracted at the critical moment and moved on in my search. We had to out wait some muggles before a second check. This time I wasn't distracted. The log was signed and the cache replaced in seconds. A total of 30 caches were bagged on a long but satisfying day. A fav. Thank you Capperz for placing this cache.
