I was hoping to replace this one, but the gardens have been updated and the hide location is no longer suitable. Archiving to allow others to use the area.
Today we mostly targeted PnG caches to help boost our July numbers to go towards a challenge in the North Island, The weather was sunny but still with a chilly wind so was always warmer in the car than out of it. We managed 57 cache finds and ended the night on a high note with a FTF in the fresh snow and dark at St Arnaud. Overall we totaled 107 finds for the weekend - blowing the challenge out of the water!
QEF. I follwed the GPS, Mum went for geosense and she found it. You cant always trust the GPS. Thanks for the cache

Another exercise in dodging muggles...they seemed to be everywhere today. But at least the weather decided to cooperate. QEF.
Found with crman1, PotterFan16279, and FluffyUnicorn02. TFTC!!

Out for a big day of geocaching. 30 on the list and we thought we'd see how many we could find. Did well today and found almost all of them. All were great hides, and we even learned stuff along the way.
Apologies for generic log, but so many to log before bed! Thanks to all the COs!!

We went out for a family day of geocaching. I think we had 30 on our list and only DNF a few. All of them were really cool hides. Thanks so much to all the COs who thought them up.
I'm really sorry to leave the same log for all of them but I don't type very well and there are so many I have to log tonight.

Quick find on our way home to Richmond after our weekend in Picton. Thanks for the cache.
Out and about with Jo this afternoon for a bit of fresh air and some caches. Met up with big vern and his better half near the end then off for a coffee. TFTC to all COs.

I was out looking for my daily cache and this was the lucky one today! Yet another warm summer evening. The food store is not open but I have been here before. Found easily with the hint. Tftc.
This was one of the caches we found on our South Island homeward journey from Picton after 3 weeks touring around the North Island in our camper van. Our thanks to the many CO's for the many great caches and placements which diverted us to many great locations. Sorry for the generic log, but so many caches to log. TFTC
Thank you for the cache placement. We found ut quickly and did not disturb the plants.
Found quickly enough but cache is in bad shape. Log soaking wet and only 3 more spaces and it will be full. Thanks GH6710
Out geocaching on the east side of SH1 between Pukaka Valley and Blenheim with Kiwimykl. He already has this one which could have made it easier for me, but I didn't need his help for a QEF.
This one wasn't in the target area, but it was on the way back to it after lunch.

One last morning to add to the trip tally before Picton and the ferry home this afternoon. We quite often come here for lunch at the monks establishment. TFTC
We wanted to have lunch there but unfortunately we couldn't get a table but a cache instead. Not a bad trade! TFTC!
Thought about coming here for lunch - but just found the cache instead. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2367(
a quick grab while at st clair. think the hiding place may have been disturbed as fence (and cache) just been painted!
O Boy!!! what a full on 5 days caching. Driving/Sailing to attend the Christchurch Mega Event with Squirrel Nutcase and also picking up caches on the way to help us complete our Dot Days and Challenges we are currently trying to fulfill. We traveled to so many places that we have never visited before and with 240 plus caches later knew we had an eventful few days.
5.50pm - Getting late in day and thought we would have been in Christchurch by now. All caches so far have been found fairly quickly. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
On our way to NZ Mega Christchurch 2015, and caching as we go. We planned to stay close to the main highway and only venture off into the countryside where appropriate... That didn't always work for us. A 4-5 hour journey ended up taking us almost two days; such was the sheer number of caches we encountered along the route.
We are pleased to report that almost all of the caches we stopped for were in place and in good order. Besides a bit of dampness, there was nothing of concern. This is a feat that cache owners in this area of the country can be proud of... We thank you... Thank you for bringing to our attentions areas of significance. We enjoyed discovering scenic areas, historical and social locations, and other personally meaningful spots.
As stated, we found loads of caches... If we were to write an individualised note for each one, we'd never get the logging done. Hence, there will be a lot of cutting and pasting going on... My apologies!!
Marlborough: We were just pulling up to park when a vehicle arrived. It disappeared up the driveway soon enough. A quick find on this one. TFTC.

I am just spending one night in Blenheim before moving on down the line. So the afternoon was spent signing off a few caches along the road towards Nelson as well as along the Wairau River.
Cheers for the cache.

Exploring the area. A quick find on the way past. Thanks for the placement.
After a break from caching for a while we resumed with this one after dinner. By now it was totally dark so was found by torchlight. There is a surprising number of vehicles use these side roads at night! Thank you GH6710.
No moon yet, just some twinkle of the stars. Almost enough light though from passing traffic to make the find. I always wonder where all these people come from and go to in these sparsely populated country areas. Thank you GH6710.
Today GH6710 was searching for something else as part od the Base SAR Team, so Raisinpig and myself had to find a cache that he already had for our lunchtime caching run. Better still we selected a cache that he owned.
I recall the night this cache was published, I was imprisoned on shift at Pak'n Save, eagerly refreshing the cache on c:geo every 15 minutes to see if it was still unlogged. I did a last check just as my shift ended and was disappointed to see capperz had logged it just before I was about to go for it.
With the FTF off the table, there was no longer a rush to get it, until today it proved to be an ideal cache for the circumstances.
In the end it was a QEF PnG and we were back at work within 20 minutes of leaving. Another successful lunchtime caching run.
TFTC GH6710, I hope you found what you were looking for.

Mission complete, so now to find a few smilies before it is time to head home.
Another quick find and sign.

#928. I think this one was the easiest find of the day. Stopped the car. Read the description and hint. Stepped out and had the cache back inside the car 10 seconds later. Interesting container. Haven't seen one like that previously. Signed log in car and covered it up well to stop muggling. Certainly agree there is no need to molest any plants. TFTC
A few caches in Blenheim with Kiwi Grandad today. Slowly making our way to Spring Creek in the oddest kind of zig zag ever seen. This was a new eatery on me. So many new ones springing up around the wineries.
Thanks GH6710 for the cache.

A short detour from Rapaura Rd to get to GZ. All quiet here so not sure if it was open when we visited. A quick find for StreetWalker while I was wondering if I needed to be on the other side of the fence. TFTC.
Quick grab on way back through Blenheim.
Been down this road before, this place was still open , but no sign of life.
Thanks for the cache.

Called here this afternoon for a quick find. I haven't been to this place for quite a few years and I think its name was different then. Signed log, TFTC
A familiar CO's name as the LISS group cached after the 15 year event in Blenheim. Mrs Sobad had a fun day caching in good company around the Blenheim area. This was find 26 for her for the day - and we were heading sort of towards Nelson but with a few more caches still to find.
Thanks.
Thanks.
The others were following their GPSs. Adding mine to the equation seemed superfluous so I went straight for the hint. - - - Caching as a team, it's easy to let others do the work, but one has to be first to grab some of the caches - - - it's just the way it works. TFTC .
Caching with Sidewaze, Isis58 & Mrs SoBad - the "LISS" team. I was still reading the hint (aloud) when Sidewaze announced she'd found it. Her cache-mobile door was closer to the cache than mine...

Visited this and the adjacent business just over a year ago but they were both so busy that we kept moving so this cache has been a very good reminder that its time to try again. TFTC #6701
After the CITO event I went off to find a few more caches. As I drove towards Pataka from the Opawa Floodway, I spotted Makana. I felt an irresistible urge to make a short diversion there and buy Anniversary treats for Mrs Biggles. Once that mission was accomplished it was a short drive to this cache which was quickly found on the first place checked. TFTC, Biggles.

The long missing ping of late evening new listings sounded and after a couple of false starts at Tennyson Inblet a more familiar site, and agreeable distance, appeared. With the temperature dropping into low single figures I called up the Seagnoid and asked him along for a shot at the title.
Upon arriving along the road the cache name made sense and the also now familiar hide style and container of the C O made itself visible for a satisfying find in the recently stopped rain. 6 degrees and a blank log book, nice

[green] {FTF} I am busy at the computer, logging all the caches from Sunday's trip into Nelson, when the telltale beep of an email comes through. I ignore it and keep working. Suddenly I get a call from Capperz: Be ready in 5 minutes. Eeek! Shut down the computer, race to my room, grab torch and GPS. he didn't say why, but it is only ever one thing. Capperz turns up. Yep, new cache. Head out there. As usual, I check GZ first, obviously wrong. Capperz is checking the likely spot, only 2m away, and finds it.
I really have to get a weak torch. This caving light of mine is ridiculously bright - I get blinded just from the reflection from writing in a log sheet!
Thanks for another FTF!
