----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there Cache Owner,This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **possibly** needs some attention. You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.A full explanation for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and **the cache will be de-listed (Archived) at the end of the 14 day period, without further recourse to the CO.** [xx(] It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. I think we have done this cache a long time ago, and it's not where I remember it. So if the actual cache is missing that would make sense. Otherwise we're in the wrong spot would love to see it fixed up
I think I found the right place for GZ once I worked out where the numbers were, but had no luck finding the cache, but wasnt prepared to scramble under the bushes on my aching knees. Nothing was really hidden close to the path higher up in the bushes. They were easy to check because the gardening team, who were still working very noisily around the park had done major pruning of anything close to the paths. I will probably try again one day we are back in the area.
No luck today. I found the required numbers and a likely GZ but after checking it, and a few other spots for good measure, I still came up empty handed.
A message to the CO confirmed I was searching in the right spot, but it appears the container is gone.
A message to the CO confirmed I was searching in the right spot, but it appears the container is gone.
I worked out the clues and found an excellent hiding spot that agreed with all the information on the cache page but it is devoid of a cache. I searched the area in all directions just to be thorough and came up empty handed.
I agreed to do a favor for a friend, and ended up doing my planned days caching in reverse, ending up closer to one train line than another. It took a while to find the numbers on the sculptures, but once I had, I was off and running. I read the instructions several times and, to me, there was only one location for GZ. I got all excited but found nothing. More pondering and looking produced a similar result. I confirmed that I was in the correct location with a chum. The upshot is that I can't find this cache, and will watch it.
We found our first multi ! Out playing in the playground with my daughter when I noticed there was a multi in this park. We read the description fully, found the numbers we needed, and my daughter found the right sculpture. My daughter headed off in one direction but we came up empty handed initially. Then we went back to that same spot and had a proper look! Surely it can’t be under there? Yes, it was! Signed the cache and replaced exactly as found. This was so much fun, thanks so much for placing the cache !
After some confusion over which pole and which set of numbers were the right ones, we happily located the cache. A few ants looked on as we signed. Thanks for the treasure hunt!
A really interesting multi to tackle this morning. Took way longer than expected after having some difficulty spotting the markings on the statues and guessing which direction to search gz. Luckily the reserve was muggle free . Thanks Sedgwick Dave
The grounds were a little soggy here after all the rains over the weekend.
I noted the details down at the pole in question (only later discovering I had noted the wrong last number).
It took me a while to identify the wooden statue I was looking for but I eventually was on to something.
Reading the description carefully for once, and looking for a location that met the rules, I headed for an object and sure enough found the cache quite quickly.
Thanks for the different type of multi!
Thanks sedgwickDave for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

This was a great multi. Enjoyed figuring out the sums and the hiding spot was very clever. Thanks for this one sedgewickdave!
Another calendar shaped hole drew me to the land of the work-for-it multis. I don't know who came first but this little brace of three/four multis are somewhat unusual either in concept or just sheer amount of time necessary to complete.
Fortunately absolutely no one was around otherwise they would have seen me walk between the sculptures before the penny dropped. In fact, I can safely say it took longer to determine the artist labelling scheme then it did to find the cache.
Glad to have one of the three/four multis under my belt.

A quick caching run to grab a couple of multis, this one was first on my to-do list. Information gathered, sculptures identified (eventually - it took a while to find the required information then the rest was easy). Overshot GZ and soon realised my mistake. Back to the right place and after a second look spotted the cache. Logged and rehidden - definitely one that's impossible if any muggles are around as the cache page says, and bad enough when they're not as it's near impossible to be stealthy!... TFTC
We had fun doing the multi.
8pm on a hot Sunday evening is a good time to visit these parks.
At GZ the co ords were spot on.
This is a very sneaky hide.
All is not what it seems!
It’s certainly safe from being accidentally muggled!
When we first spied the cache it was “infested” with ants.
Mr Riddell had the quick thinking and reflexes to quickly flick it away from the main huge nest.
Then left it a few moments and gave it a good banging and shaking to evict the remaining ants.
We could then see that the log was wet and soggy. The bag was rusty and disintegrated, and the lid had rusted off.
The wet log probably provided the ants with coolness and fluids… especially today at 34 degrees! Can see why they had invaded
We had replacements to enable us to perform the required maintenance and so hopefully the ants won’t be able to invade the cache again even though they are living in harmony with it.
TFTC, which provided us with lots of entertainment, to say the least.

Decided tha this was going to my cache for the day only to realise that I had found it quite some time ago. Logging it on the day it was found with Papi. Sorry about that. Thanks for placing this well concealed cache.
Attempting to catch up on a whole lot of logs that have been waiting to happen. This is one of them. Sorry it has taken soooo long.
It took us a bit to work this one out, one of us wasn't thinking straight but the find was made with much less trouble. Thanks for the cache which shouldn't have taken as long as it did to find.

Log was absolutely soaked, container has seen better days. Probably should be replaced… TFTC
Found it very quickly after a failed attempt earlier in the year! Unable to sign log though, incredibly rusty and wet! define it really needs some attention! TFTC
We spent a considerable amount of time on this one.
We started by reading it wrong. Then, I think we read it right.
Either way, we came away empty handed.
This one has outwitted us.
Thanks anyway SedgwickDave for the challenge.

Out caching with BeckNmonts today. Happily we had the park to ourselves, the kids were busy playing in the preschool. The calcs were done momentarily and a promising GZ presented itself. The home of the ants was revealed and they were not too impressed but we borrowed the cache from them. We had it signed and replaced in no time and everything was returned to how we found it. Thanks
This was our first cache for the day after buying dog food nearby. We managed to read. And find the cache! Thanks for placing the cache sedgwickDave.
We were lucky the area was fairly quiet this morning, with only one family enjoying the sunshine and not taking any notice of us as we wondered around this park, collecting the clues.
Surprisingly this multi went off without a hitch, very unusual for us, and the cache was found in the first place we looked. Excellent.
Thanks sedgwickDave.

Cache container replaced and new log too. Original cache was looking rather worn out and the previous log book dry out while I waited out some horny teenagers playing on the swings nearby before placing in the cache for historical purposes.

I came here a couple of days ago to try to find this cache, but there were too many muggles around so I left. I came back today to have another crack at it, but, again, there were too many muggles. After leaving to find another cache then coming back, there was finally a break in muggles, so I looked around and found the hide. However, just as I sat down on a nearby bench to sign the log, some muggles started playing right next to GZ. After waiting for what felt like forever, they finally left and I managed to return the hide. The logbook is a bit wet, but I still managed to sign it. TFTC
Sadly this was a did not find! We do believe it has been muggled. May need some maintenance
Although the weather was beautiful and sunny, the park was empty, so Crusty K9 and I were able to take our time and search out the likely hiding spots. This was not our first choice, but we eventually found it and signed the log sheet.
Thanks SD. A favourite from us.

Looked in all other possible places , then the lightbulb finally got some electricity going through it and Ta-da. A cold wet day, perfect caching weather, no muggles would dare be out in this, so park was deserted.

Our 250th find.
On the way to basketball for geokid. Popped in to add another smiley to our local area. Overnight rain not stopping little one from having a swing.
Energy to burn.
Nice spot here once the barking dog gave up.

A clever little multi that had us initially scratching our head over the required numbers. Once the penny dropped the rest was straight forward. An old school hide in the end, nicely done!
Quick 5 minute stop to find this cache, after working out where the numbers on the statues were. day1976 was the one who found it after I read the description out.
A quick and easy little multi for a very warm day. What a perfect little Park to play quidditch in!
Nice quick multi today. Reminded me of another cache which took us four attempts and then finally PAF to get. TFTC sedgwickDave
This was a quick easy multi on a hot steamy day. Lovely spot with not a muggle to be seen thanks for the cache sedgwickDave
With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
After gathering all of the clues and admiring the art, we performed the task as instructed and soon had the cache in hand. Took a seat to shake off all of the ants. Cache has seen better days as the container is a little deformed making it harder to extract the log. Got there in the end and returned the cache to where it was found. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
Today was to be a day of caching around the Knox area. Why is that you ask, well I was to have lunch with my girlfriend, so what else is there for me to do other than to grab a couple of caches before and after lunch. Anyways thanks for the cache and the find
A quick stop before freezing to the kids' footy presentation. Was sure this was in the opposite direction but i read the instructions precisely and ignored my geosenses and boom the it was. Thanks.
Got a message from eighthknox wishing me a happy International Geocaching Day followed by the customary question of where we could go and grab a cache. After a bit of back and forth we agreed that this multi would work for both of us. After originally heading to the wrong reserve I eventually arrived to meet eighthknox and set about reading the instructions. The clouds became ominous so I was glad we were able to get to GZ and find the cache without too much trouble. As we returned the cache to its great hiding spot the hail came down leading to a speedy retreat. Thanks SedgwickDave for another fun cache in the local area.
After a footy presentation for my two boys at my old club I rang an old team mate at said club and fellow cacher to see if he was interested in finding one this afternoon. He and I had an hour up our sleeve and this brought us here. My two boys and the geogoddaughter made use of the park facilities and nanton and I dodged the rain to make a quick find (after reading the cache description fully). tftc
I like this type of cache .. well hidden and you have to really work it out .. a fav from me TFTC
Had a hour between jobs so I grabbed some caches in this area. Was able to sign log but the cache needs some love. thanks for the cache.
15:33, June 11, 2018, # 719, out with n0w0rries today doing a few in this area. Found container but was crushed and log sheet totally drenched beyond belief unable to sign. Pic taken for proof. TFTC.
BoatieTim picked me up and we joined jascat and TeamGBunny for a few finds this afternoon.
This particular cache has been on my wish list since it was published.
I just never seemed to be in the right place at the right time to have a look for it.
Today was different. Today the cache was found.
I think my cohorts have told the tale below.
Most definitely requires some TLC.
A complete revamp would seem to be in order here sedgwickDave

Met up here with n0w0rries, BoatieTim and TeamGBunny. Retrieved the required info and made a quick find at GZ. Cache was not in good shape. Rather battered and bruised. Unable to sign the log as it was extremely wet.

Had a crack at this one on my way home, nice and easy multi and had the cache (plus a thousand ants) in hand quickly. Great little park, beautiful and peaceful. Not sure what the clue was, couldnt find anything inside TFTC!
*12/12/17, Found @ 4:43 pm, Find # 7448.*
I was passing through this area so I thought I would have a look at this one.
Yay, I can read, an interesting little multicache.
So after reading through the description and then following the instructions I found myself at a likely spot to hide a cache but after a quick look I did not spot the cache only thousands of ants.
I looked around and decided that this had to be the only location possible for the cache to be hidden so another look was taken and this time after a bit of a dig the cache was found.
The ants seemed to have incorporated the cache into their home and had covered it up so after flicking it out and kicking it around the park a few times trying to dislodge those pesky little critters i was eventually able to retrieve the log so that it could be signed.
I replaced it back in the hide but a bit different more how I think it should have been but there is no guarantee they wont be back.

Out and about with Square_Pegs and we had this one on our list to check out so we got the info we needed, looked around and I said "how about over there?" and being the legend I am I was right on target Thanks sedgwickDave.
This one had me wondering how it would all end up. We followed the instructions to the letter and at the final stage abl973 kept on following them, right to the cache. That was much quicker than I expected.
Thanks to sedgwickDave for the cache.

Between two visits with friends we had a little bit of time to spare and decided to stroll past the vulture's uncle's former house. We quickly established that, at least from the outside, it looks unchanged. So, where is the closest cache? Ah, a multi in a park, that sounds good.
This is a nice park, the tasks towards finding the cache are doable, everything looks friendly and inviting. After retrieving the cache, we withdrew to one of the recycled seats to sign the log. When we wanted to return the container to its hide, a muggle and her two dogs entered the park for a stroll. Hm, time to return to our seat, nearly did need your sudoku, but soon the lady continued her walk (not without one of her dogs having a good sniff at us first). So, back it went, and we were off to the car to continue on our journey.
Thanks for showing us this nice area, segdwickDave!

A rare occasion where the youngest AdventureNaut is home with dad, so once drop off duties were complete we eyed this multi and quickly got to the locale. With no maths involved it was a simple case of following directions and finding, much to the delight of us both. At the request and decree of the youngest AdventureNaut a favourite is to be given.

I have never quite understood why I get Easter Tuesday off work, but as I do I decided to go for a walk. As I was passing fairly close to the posted coordinates I took a detour to this multi. A nicely done multi which I was happy to see involved no maths. My epic fails on a few multis recently that involved number crunching are, unfortunately, not uncommon. Anyway I digress! I quickly figured out the likely GZ location having found something similar in NZ over New Year...otherwise it may have been far more difficult. TFTC!

my first time at this park was last fri 10/3 night and i went with 2 of my sis in laws..Just 2 of them, my hubby is one of 14, anyway while we were walking Im saying to Catie, this would be a great place to put a multi! When I arrived home and jumped on the computer I had sadly discovered that sedgwickDave had done this awhile ago.
Great multi, we loved it.

Catching up on some late or forgotten logs, this one was eventually found after gathering the required numbers and then after having a decent set of numbers headed over to the final gz and came up with the very sneaky hide. Luckily for me l had the area to myself to search otherwise l would probably had to come back when it was empty. Thanks sedgwickDave for the nice little multi.
Was time for some R&R that reble and Roostaman caching time, had an enjoyable drive around pick up some great caches. Thanks sedgwickDave for the cache.

I came, I collected some numbers, I inspected some wooden sculptures without understanding them or who the sculptor was, then set about determining possible locations for the cache. Fortunately I found it in the first place I looked, disturbing some ants in the process. I retreated to a park bench to extract and sign the log, before returning the cache to its clever resting place. TFTC
I might just sit down on one of the lovey park benches to write this log:-) I totally enjoyed this multi. It ticked all of the boxes. Quick, fun and a little clever. Thanks for bringing me here to sit and enjoy the park
Our first cache for the day on a long weekend caching in Melbourne. We pulled up and noticed a couple of muggles enjoying the park so initially we could only retrieve the number clues. We tried the next step but was just too hard with a lady sitting on the park bench with her dog and some shifty male hanging around the park so we headed back to the car. Luckily for us it started to rain lightly so the lady and the dog decided to head home but that shifty male started walking towards the car. Thats weird, wonder what he wants? As he got closer I realised I recognised him as a fellow cacher .....Phew! It turns out omegaman1971 was one step ahead of us but couldn't start the search until the muggle had left. So we headed over to where he thought the cache was hidden and found the container nicely tucked away from sight.
Thanks sedgwickDave for showing us this lovely park and for the sneaky hide.

After doing the required work days ago but no prize due to some sporty muggles, but today had better luck even bumped into some other cachers a long way from home. (The Tritonz)
After some excellent conversation the log was signed.
Cheers for the cache

Out with xambo4u, we started the day with this little multi. We loved the sculptures that seemed appropriate to the area. A well hidden cache. Thanks sedgwickDave
Out and about with echidna44 for a morning run. Have not been in this area for a while so there is plenty to choose from. This is a nice little park and just love the sculptures here. Easy to pick up the clues as no one was around on this very chilly morning. Only one place it could be so we headed straight for. It was a quick sign off and replacement. You can't see it now
Nice quick easy multi, thanks for the cache sedgwickDave

Found tonight with Trailstevo, been 10day or so since we could escape out. Cleaned up a few loose cache on the local radar. TFTC
Quick find for a multi - Cache not really hidden but near expected spot. Placed back as best as possible. Tftc
We have been wanting to do this one for ages now, and what better way on 't's 3rd birthday!!!
We packed the balance bike for him to ride around the park and some fairy bread snacks and went on the very short drive to get here, a few muggles walking through the park but was empty when it was time to get the cache.
Thanks for the easy and fun cache!

Finally got my nemesis while the Mini-Welders were crazily releasing their cabin fever at the wet playground. It still took me another 20 minutes of poking around to make this find.
It was only after signing in and returning the cache that the penny dropped, lol.
This was a particularly good challenge, sedgwickDave. And I really enjoyed the work that went into your cache description - really fun! Thank you so much.
Very well played!

Made the detour to grab this, while past through on the way home from Rosebud. It was a nice day and enjoyed grabbing the clues and a short walk in the park before Mr Happy came up with the goods. No muggles about today, so it was a quick hide in a great area.
Thanks sedgwickDave for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Had been out touring Blind Creek caches and came past at night while on my way home. Was able to get through the WPs easily until I fell at the last hurdle. Over an hour of scouring the place by torchlight revealed nothing.
Thanks for the challenge, sedgwickDave.
I'll be back...

Out with Sheldea to grab this nearby multi. Got the necessary info then counted out the steps for gz... nope that's not it. Try again... we were over thinking the description. Didn't help that my steps are considerable shorter than Sheldea's, which lead me half way to no where & confused the issue. Sitting down sending a message to the CO when Sheldea had an idea. Finally! Clever little cache gets a Fav from me. Many thanks!
The weather looked great this morning so I hitched the bike onto the car and headed off to the Wantirna area to grab a few caches along the Blind Creek Trail and its surrounds.
I needed to complete a multi this weekend and this just so happened to be close to where I was cycling. At the GZ I quickly gathered the information I required and after pacing out the necessary steps I retrieved the cache. TFTC.

I visited this park twice and both times I was stuck with the steps part, which way?! The co helped me with a clue and then I figured out where gz was, which is where I went in the beginning. Thanks for this different multi
NIce little multi and the park was deserted on this gloomy Saturday afternoon. We quickly found the right number of steps but which way? Mistermagee soon found the cache while I was off looking somewhere completely different. Just got back to the car when we realised we should have collected the clue, so we went back to retrieve it. Quick find with diana8 on an afternoon of caching in the area. Very clever and well thought or puzzle! Wasn't in the first place we looked. Tftc.
Took while to get going but then got to the cache fairly quickly to find it full of an ants and ant eggs. After thoroughly shaking them out I hope I have straightened the dinted cache tin and positioned it so the ants don't find it so attractive as a nest in the future. Thanks SedgwickDave.
Out getting some of the hard ones around the area and a couple of new ones. TFTC.
I can read quite well but seemed to have lost my ability with this cache. I'd been here once before and found the first WP and then did all kinds of steps to try to find the cache. I failed.
Back tonight with lukie1987 and geowife and he found it within a few minutes. I'm not sure whether to be in awe or annoyed with him. I am unable to work out anything cryptic as I don't have a subtext gene, so I don't understand the last bit at all. I'm sure it's very clever.
Thanks sedgwickDave. I'll have to get OHC to explain the cryptic bit to me.

Out very early this morning to log another multi cache. Found was made after we finally deciphered the directions correctly (Read Me). Another very quiet little park in suburbia.
Ahhh finally a suburban multi we can easily do. I'm good at math but find most multis rather tedius and over engineered. We wandered around and managed to make the final GZ find on our second reading of the description. Lots of ants around here (in fact the whole of the suburb seems to be infested) so there was a bit of shaking and squashing to avoid bringing them back in to the car with us. A clever little placement here Dave!
After today's Easter Event and a cafe get together, Alansee and I headed out to tackle some of the local caches. Alan had done all the ground work on this cache having tried before and not understanding the instructions. I don't understand how they were supposed to work, but he had been given a hint as to the final resting spot of the cache, so I was happy to just follow him to it.
My thanks to sedgwickDave for the cache.

Found with Muzza today. I had previous gotten to the past bit of this cache but had stumbled with where the heck the cache was. Came back today armed with a hint and soon found the cache but still can't figure out how the last bit works.
Poor old MMelb has had his first taste of the disadvantages of Uni life with having to go in to Uni on a Public holiday whilst his Parents could laze away the morning and then go caching!! Mind you the major advantage to Uni life is Uni doesnt start till late Feb so he's had plenty of holidays already!!!!! lol
We decided to concentrate on our 10km zone and this was the second cache for the morning and luckily a young muggle decided to leave just as we got out of the car, very fortuitous as it turned out!! We managed to make sense of the steps and GMelb made the find whilst JMelb was looking elsewhere. Nice hiding spot

We found this cache today at 7:40pm as number 8 of 9 on our Late Afternoon Close to Home Cache Run. This looked on paper, much more difficult than it actually was. It tool a few looks to locate the number on the sculpture but once we had that I went to one spot and "H" another and he located the cache. Our 1,065th multicahe find. we took the clue but no idea what for at this stage. Thanks from D & H B-A.
I'd had a rough afternoon and needed to get out for some fresh air and distraction. So I called on my mate Hera, who was exhausted and had not seen her hubby much lately, and she still came to help me out regardless. What a lovely friend!
We decided that this was to be our only cache for the night. Just enough to clear the head and then get home for catching up with husbands and sleep.
We parked at the opposite end of the reserve to the parking waypoint, as it is our usual style to make things harder than they need to be. But it is a lovely reserve and not very big so it wasn't an issue.
We collected all the info easily enough and then came time to try and find GZ. Hera and I often think quite differently and this cache was no exception. I was reading into the wording and meanings rather cryptically and for a moment Hera even thought I was onto something. But after a while she went back to her original hunch and came up with the goods. So, now I'm confused as to what is cryptic about the cache description and why the cache is named Read Me. Fleabag says that he worked out the significance of the cache description when he re-read it upon getting home. I re-read it too but I am failing to see the magical cryptic message. I guess that's why I don't do puzzles!!
Anyway, I really liked this reserve, the interesting multi and the fresh air after a teary afternoon. So I'll award it a fave. Thanks so much

With different schedules this year, I've been missing my caching partner The Rusty's. So even though we were both knackered we couldn't pass up the opportunity for a catch up. I was worried we wouldn't have the combined brain power to tackle this cache this evening but we eventually came up with the goods. I liked the variety in this multi and there was just enough ambiguity that the final cache location could have been anywhere. We checked one area to no avail, then discarded it and concentrated on another area. I was drawn back to the original location and bang, there it was.
A nice way to start the morning and not a muggle in sight.
All is well here and found relatively quickly.

Crazy Andy in his wisdom decided that bugger the heat i'm going for a bike ride and grab a couple of local caches......
Nar it wasn't that hot....Tyres on bike melted but it ran quite well on rims....
Anyway head frying and wondering about someones sense of color i worked out first stage......
Then putting 2 and 2 together after a minor false start i managed to get inside the head of CO and think where would he hide this......BINGO.....found...
Nice and cryptic is perfect......

A fav for the clever approach to a multi

Joint effort with KenneallyKrew and geokids in tow. Details obtained easy enough but took a while to determine bearings. As we circled nature called to one of the geokids. So much easier to cache kidless. One last lap and we luckily found the hide. TFTC
Sitting on the couch at the end of a hard hit day on the tool, when I look at the geowife and see that she's antsy! Ok I said lets get out of the house for a cache and give the kids a ride on their bikes. Got to GZ and within 5 mins the geokids have to go to the loo! Sigh!!!
Just about to leave and check 1 last spot before one of them has an accident!
Bang! Spot on!

Cheers

Out chasing up some bits and pieces after the Christmas holidays but before I get back to full on semi-retirement and I needed a cache fix as well.
Nice quiet park with only a couple of muggles but I managed to work my way through the process with little concern from the muggles. Nice variation on the construction of a multi. A favorite from me.
Thanks for placing this cache sedgwickDave

Found it after initially overlooking where it was tucked away. A warm day to sit in a deserted park. TFTC
