A nice quick find. The track to the structure has been cleared a bit, so not to hard to find this lonely cache. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are off on another North Island tour, visiting family, art galleries and caches. Today we drove and cached around Hamilton, the weather has been pretty good!Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
I considered taking the old track but after a short distance the amount of overgrowth rules that option out. Easy to find a short distance from a structure. Nice wetland. It would be an awesome spot for a circular reserve walk.
Afterward me and geopooch stopped to say hello to some friendly heifers.

VERY overgrown but i was glad to have parrydise with me to scramble in and retrieve the cache! Quickly signed then came the race back to the car before getting too rained on!!
I had to park up the top and walk down because the gate was locked. The area is very overgrown but thankfully I found the cache in the first place I checked. It was getting late so time to head home

A bit of a mission to locate the cache hint item but finally got there in the end. TFTC

Checked out today, very overgrown and lots of thistle, new container now in place
Look for quite a while but can't see the cache anywhere. Lots of overgrowth. Last found over a year ago.
Another find, fairly straightforward this one, which is lucky as the phones are about to die! TFTC!
Very exciting to finally sign these two off...Many thanks!
Was worried about turning space for my car , but no worries....
Grabbed this between the raindrops with nette1234 on our way back to Auckland.

Relatively straight forward after looking in wrong place. Nice walk on a cool morning. TFTC.
Hehe I'm going to find plenty of scotch thistles in my legs after looking for this cache.
Well this one was a bit of a mission. The walk in is lovely but the last part of the track is not maintained and is now quite overgrown. I walked past chest high scotch thistles and blackberry and received a yellow smiley for my efforts. TFTC
. Another day in Hamilton clearing a few new caches and clearing a couple of DNFs Great day and thanks to all the COs Taking the long way home and collecting these two caches. Love thes new lake areas The path to this cache is getting quite overgrown with thistles TFTC
With work all wrapped by early afternoon today I decided to take a drive into the country side. It is a windy and changeable day weather wise, but I managed to collect some finds with out getting particularly wet. After finding the other cache on this lake I continued my walk around to this one. Tried one spot with out success before back tracking to the correct GZ. Quick find in the end. Cheers for the cache placement!
Short must be one of those relative terms.
At first I didn't know where to start, so I asked a guy at a business across the lake and he sent me to the starting place. Once there, I followed the fairly obvious track until it faded and then disappeared. I tried a few indentations in the grass before figuring out which one was the right one. Still, I was guessing until I came to the stream. After this, it was a bit more obvious, and finally, very obvious. It makes me wonder if there was a better way to go.
I found the cache quite easily and took the Acadia TB.
On the way back, I managed to trip over a root on the path and I lost my glasses. This was not much of a loss as they were purchased at The Warehouse. TFTC.

Wandered along from the other cache in the area and excellent co-ords meant it was a nice quick find here. Nice little spot to wander about, thanks for bringing me here.
After being cooped up inside all week with bad weather, sick child and school holidays I had scheduled in today for some 'me time'. I had planned to clean up around Hamilton but after finding a few urban hides I was well and truly over it and decided to head into the country for some peace and quiet and some nice country roads.
After getting annoyed trying to navigate my way round suburbia I decided to head out and find some more out of the way caches and this fitted the bill nicely. As I drove down the road I wondered just how close I could drive and how short my walk would be and turns out it was very short indeed! A gorgeous spot that I would not have known about, so thanks so much for bringing me here.

After a morning logging Eyes caches I decided to visit these finally! Lazy cacher instinct almost kicked in, but I decided to walk but you could totally drive within 40 meters of this cache. Found using the hint, cache all good cheers!
Turned these caches into a full circumnavigation of the lake, probably not recommended but made for a memorable find though.

A pleasant stroll on from the previous cache and an easy find.
+ a marble, - nothing.

2022 Took the wrong turn. Went left instead of straight ahead at the end of the road and ended up at the bee keepers factory. They assisted me in the right direction. Once at GZ it was a short walk to collect.
Another straightforward find for Steed and my muggle sister on their bikes. We always wondered how these lakes were accessed and now they know. Thanks for showing us another lake that is being nurtured.
Turned this find into a very very short work, about 25m! Having been here before finding getting to the lake wasn't as much of a mission as it was last time, but this time all the gates were open and I managed to get the car very close to GZ. Could of possibly got a little bit closer but didn't want to risk it.
Cache had rolled a little way from the hint item so replaced in it once I signed the log. Didn't want to hang around as wasn't to keen to get the car locked in. Thanks for the hide.

Headed out here before breakfast with Mrs Dragon a quick road side stop and then we were on our way once again. Nice little area that has been created here and plenty of "puk's" running off into the flaxes as I was walking through.
thanks for the placement

12.10pm - Parked on the express way heading north, had already done another cache in area some time ago so knew where to go. Climbed fence and an easy walk to an easy find. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have a small target list for today.
We walked along the metal roadway all the way to ground zone. After a quick check of our bearings, we spotted the cache in its hide. We figured that this one is still young enough to attract a few visitors, so I left two TBs that I have been carrying since Leap Day... One wants to visit fire related locations, so this is probably not ideal... But someone else maybe able to help it on its way... Our journey back to the car was more direct, as we took the inner track over the little bridges. TFTC.
