Similar to most of my finds these days, I grabbed this one whilst coming back from a card tournament. With ample caches around, this seems like a hot spot for me.... I just wish it was a little closer to home. Anyways with a quick and easy look around, I was able to quickly find this one. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
A quick detour here after grabbing a coffee while gathering waypoints for the nearby multi. A very quiet park here today, didnt see another sole in my walk through it.
This was one of two caches found today, on my way home after visiting mum.A fast and easy find with solid co-ords and hidden in the most geo-obvious spot.Signed the log, noted the hint for the series final. Thanks for the cache, ahomburg (with apologies for the several weeks' late log).
A quick find this afternoon after a day in the mountains doing some bushwalking and collecting some caches. I decided to clear out this suburb too on my way back down. Much easier terrain here!
Found on my way home from work, the co-ordinates had me guessing and being short I had look a little higher than head high. Nice quiet spot.
Out for a day of caching with Crustyvarmint this cache was quickly spied and the log signed. TFTC
17:27Post GIFF caching with the cache owner, who tasked me with a maintenance check as we passed nearby assessing some trees in the area. As you do.Thanks, ahomburg. All in good order, and another find in this series after a long hiatus.#8016
I had a bus driving job to a nearby sports centre so headed out to search for a few local caches.
I hesitated when I saw the previous DNF, but with no info on hand, I had a quick look and had the nicely tucked away container in hand in a jiffy.
All in good dry condition.

A lovely little (post-Fathers Day activities) walk with my ever faithful geoGroodle. A couple of easy finds in this reserve (the first time I have been in this area) followed by quite a long walk to try and access a third cache, which Googlemaps seemed to think I could get to that way, but reality disagreed.

Passing this way and spotted this reserve, with caches to find. Thanks ahomburg, for finding these refreshing green wedges in amongst suburbia. Enjoyed the stroll around and collect 2 smiles for my efforts today.
Needing caches in Knox KGA for a challenge cache I’m sure you know all about ahomburg, I was brought to this nice little park to add a couple more to my tally. Thanks for the cache and a nice bit of exercise after the bus, train, and train trip to get here.
Out to get a cache on the first of the month to meet a challenge. Nice spot in a lovely suburban park. TFTC
Today I had the morning free and thought it was a nice day to go geocaching. Today the plan was to collect a number of geocaches that I needed a challenge, the one where you need 20 geocaches in each Victorian LGA. Turns out I've only ever found 5 geocaches in the Maroondah LGA, so time to fix that.
Passing thru and saw I was close to this one. Always try to grab these caches when passing thru, but still need a few more before I get all the clues.
Thanks for the cache A Homburg

A quick find and an interesting cache guardian.
Thanks for placing the cache ahomburg.
Thanks for placing the cache ahomburg.
After wandering through this nice little reserve, we made our way to the corner and found it in the most likely looking spot.
Thanks ahomburg for placing this cache here for us to find.

Spending a few days on the road with Wilbert as we travel to and from the Whittlesea Mega event.
Having a great time finding an array of different types and D/T rated caches.
Thanks to all the CO’s for hiding your particular cache.
Day 3 and we’re hunting LGA’s today.
My apologies for the boiler style log.

Mega in Whittlesea is done! Today we are going around Melbourne doing LGA's and labs. Pretty cold today, but good caching.

Thank you for the find. GZ coordinates were bouncing around so we weren't quite sure where to look at first

I might have been conned today as there was no mention of having to find a cache. And it was a have to not an "I would like to". GT37 isn't far off completing her streak so it was great to find that this was close to where we were and not a hard find. Thanks for the cache.
Not sure Papi 4506 was pleased when I said that I hadn't found a cache today, I only need one. Neither of us had found this so it was a good one for the day. Nice quick find, thank you.
A great hiding spot. Had to do a little investigating, but an easy retrieval. Thanks ahomburg!
Seemed like a nice day for caching until Melbourne lived up to its reputation.
Nice quick grab during a lap of the park in a 2 for 1 walk.
Thanks ahomburg

A park we'd haven't discovered before, a lovely sunny winter afternoon. Found cache, thank you.
Another quick find while passing through an area that I am not familiar with.
While the cache is not a Berocca container as listed, it is a container that most cachers are very familiar with. !!
Thanks for bringing me here.

We had just been to Jells Park and on the way home took a detour to grab a couple more caches. A quick find. TFTC.
The youngest Rusty is new to a karate class in this area, so for the past 2 weeks I’ve found myself filling in the waiting time with some cache finds. Although, after 2 weeks I’ve exhausted the local supply of unfound caches already.
I probably didn’t need to look at the hint on approach, but as I HATE caching alone, I usually want to make a very swift job of it. When I read “head height” I wondered “MY head height or YOUR head height, Ahomburg?”. In the end there was a booster block and it was an easy find so I was a happy solo cacher tonight.

Out caching with the family on Melbourne Cup Day. Great hiding spot! Lucky there was something to stand on otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to reach it, lol! Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks so much for the fun cache!
This one took a little longer than expected - the hint helped, but the container has been changed from the description, probably when the cache was redone - same size, just different container. It's well concealed at head height - and in a really nice quiet park. TFTC.
Quick find in the dark on my way home to beat the 8pm lockdown deadline. This area is outside my 5km so I can't travel here while lockdown is on. So glad to get another one and ensure I have a find in August. Thanks.
YAPIDKA! Need a break from staring at the Olympics and elevated spectators HR! Out exploring the local burbs close to mum and discovering lovely new parks and reserves. You could say I was a tad wary as some of this CO’s hides can be tricky! Had a quick bingo moment and happily signed away. TFTC and the fun.
As we found ourselves at almost minimum distance from this cache, G'&J' of GJMMelb, Cygnus3333 and I decided we needed a walk so took the opportunity to do a circuit of this reserve. I found the hide but missed spotting the cache - the hint confirmed the location but G' had spotted it before I could check it again. I forgot to check for a hint (and suspect any I may have previously gathered have probably been lost...) TFTC
Have now found both iterations of this cache! Was in the reserve picking up a stamp in the KNDP series so thought it would be rude not to find this one too...
Dog was exhausted by this point of the walk so she had to have a rest in the shade while we looked for the cache. TFTC
I have only found a few caches in this series so I thought it was about time that I found another one. I parked in the carpark off Berrabri Drive and then wandered through the reserve to GZ. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords I easily found the hiding spot but as I am vertically challenged I needed a bit of a stretch on my tip-toes to reach the cache. It was lucky that there was nobody around. I retrieved the cache and signed the log at 6:20 pm. TNLN but I did remember to jot down the clue to the final cache in this series. I used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache.
Thanks ahomburg for the well-hidden cache in a beautiful bushy reserve in the burbs. After finding the cache I went for a walk around the reserve. I loved all the indigenous trees and plants.

Popped back here today to find the fresh book in the fresh container.

Tftc. Walked around for a bit. Original co-ords had me at the wrong tree. I expanded my search missed it. Then put the new coords into my GPS and found it. A man was walking his cute little dog in the area. I had to make sure he was gone.

Just out to pick up a couple of caches today with ilook4geo. There was no difficulty in finding this one, especially with the hint in mind. The log had both names added and all was replaced as it had been found. Thanks go to ahomburg for placing this cache.
Came along with goingplaces2 to make a find here. No problems and signing duties were soon done. TFTC.
After coffee at Middleman quick drop by to find one more to mark off a find for each day. GPS was bouncing around today a bit but finally found the little sucker. Will off to work now
Drizzling with rain but soon spotted this one. No longer a berrocca tube though.
Thanks for the chance of another find over this way ahomburg

Needed one today for the final day of streak week. Having closed down most near home I was at Jells Park for an orienteering event and the was local to the area. Initially was going for one on the bike trail, but having arrived by car to GZ and being told to jump from the bridge, I finally realised that I was not really in the correct area. Finally parked up across from the reserve and walked into the cache area. Circled around a bit, checked the hint and circled again. A glimpse of silver alerted me to the final hiding place. It was nice to sign a blank log (for only the second time in 5 years) even if wasn't a FTF. Area was all quiet and another reason to love Melbourne with so many reserves and parks. TFTC ahomburg I must look up the others in the series.
Cache replaced, good to go.

Another quick park and grab on the way home from work. Spotted a couple of parrots nearby as I approached.
The last one for the day, we were exhausted and ready to head homewards. Echidna44 spotted the hiding place, we signed the log, jumped in the car and made out way back towards home to put our feet up.
Out with BoabTree, at the end of the day, we did a little searching before we found the well hidden cache. Thanks ahomburg
Such a nice park for a walk in suburbia
The log is very wet from recent rain. I have replaced container upside down to try n help

Another nice nature reserve to visit in the suburbs. Managed a nice park and a short stroll over to GZ. Coords settled quick and this made for a quick find. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks ahomburg.

Signed and returned to hole. It is a bit soggy. Nice little hide and almost had me stumped. Hint is spot on! TFTC
After a short walk I soon had this cache in hand. Cache container was wet through but the log was dry due to two bags. Dried out the container as best i could before reassembling and hiding as found. Don't remember seeing the clue so will need to return for another look. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
Log is slightly damp even with the double bag. Emptied the water out of the cache container. This series came up in conversation later which was odd as I had not encountered the series prior to today but did not check if there was a clue on here. May need to return to check for the clue.
Thanks ahomburg for the cache.

After some business made me leave the house after dinner, I decided to kick on and find a cache or several. This was an area that I'd not cached in for a while, so a far build-up of unfounds existed.
I parked in Taunton Crescent and wandered into the park to make a relatively quick find when I got to GZ with spot on coordinates.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache ahomburg

Nice sunny afternoon for caching. This was on my list of things to do. Stroll down the track and into the scrub soon had the prize to hand. SL TNLN. The cache had some water in it and the bag was dampish inside. The log is almost dry but placed the log into a fresh zip bag and then into the original bag. Hopefully this will keep everything dry. Thanks ahomburg for the hunt and chase.
First of three finds for dad and teen on a mild Thursday night. We got a little caught up in the scratchy trees but found the cache without major incident. The logbook was quite wet but we still managed to sign.
Whoops, forgot to log this one from a few weeks ago. This one was the last clue before I found the final so I was a little pre-occupied! TFTC
In order to fill some holes in my dates hidden calendar, I targeted this and two others today to get down to only 16 more holes. After a bit of a drive east this morning, I parked nearby and wandered in. What a beautiful little reserve, quiet and tucked away. It took me quite a while to find this one, more than it should have. I circled around and around, looking here and there. I even spotted a shopping trolley not far away ( I hate people dumping trolleys). I knew that the CO's coordinates would be spot on, so returned the inner circle at which I started and eventually spotted a bit of what was suggested in the hint. Thanks for the cache, ahomburg and for bringing me in here.
Found it! We were out at our favorite local Thai restaurant celebrating the fact that both of our former insignificant others had taken our collective clan away and provided us with a couple of rare nights free of kids, when we realised that we had not yet found our new years day cache. Luckily this one was just around the corner, and was sitting unfound for us since we had already grabbed its predecessor many moons ago and never got around to going back for the new one (not that we mind having one unfound for an emergency grab close to home its not a bad thing, unlike our friend Mr H, who must clear his home zone, thus making us place more in there just for the fun of it...).
Anyhow, despite the darkness and the lateness of the hour, the supermoon and our supertorch provided plenty of illumination and after a wee bit of fumbling about and looking up at what we thought might constitute AH's higher than ours 'head hight' K made the find without too much grief. So there you go, the adventure of our first cache for 2018...TFTC...

Found it! On our cache hunt after collecting gardening supplies from the nursery up the road, we stopped to find his cache. I thought I had found this one before. Anyway I found it today. TFTC SL
The log is a big soggy, managed to get my name on it though. Love that the coordinates are pretty much bang on! Tftc
