Tried to enter the area from both sides but it appeared to be fenced off due to construction. Not sure if I just didn't find the access point or if gz is current inaccessible due to the construction.
Worried it would be sectioned off due to works at the station but we found it very cool. Needs a new log!
Was worried it wouldn’t be accessible with the gardens all fenced off, but luckily it still is. Great spot for it!
Spent way too long looking in the wring spot here. Even got questioned by the transit police (just a quick are you ok). Eventually found the correct 'pole' and soon made the discovery. Don't know how I missed it! Ahh well, fave point added for the camo. TFTC
After being unable to find another fancied cache further south it was on to this one to try and track it down.
Took far longer than I should to find it, but find it I did.
What a clever little camo that was literally 30cm away from where I first stopped.
20 minutes later ... D’Oh!
Not to worry, there was no hurry on this magic Melbourne day ️
Nice work, CO.

Awesome cache container and spot on clue. A favourite point from me even after I bumped my head on the stairs! Good spotting by roaming Howie. Hopefully cache lives on after crossing removal project.
Great cache hide. Is this cache on borrowed time with the pending level crossing removal? TFTC
What a clever hide. No pencil there now though, sorry we didn’t have one to leave!!
Thanks for the cache!!
Thanks for the cache!!
Nice, easy find and really cool camo. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC
Found today with my friends! Great hiding spot. Probably need to update to new log ️
LeeLee set out today on her bike to pick up a few of the Parkville caches and others in the area. It was a nice area to visit and ride. Admired some of the old buildings and wall art along the way.
I first looked at this from the way I approached then went for the obvious area with no luck. Within a few minutes I had the cleverly hidden cache in hand.
Nice work MASON

Have flown down to Melbourne from Sydney for a 2 week training course at the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport Air Traffic Control Centre, but my main interest will be in collecting as many Victorian (VK3 in HAM radio terms) caches as possible during my free time away from the workplace. My primary caching target areas will be the Woodlands Historic Park (with it’s 100 plus caches), the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, the Outer Circle Railway Trail, the Donaldson’s Creek Trail, the Ruffey Creek Trail, Eltham (Diamond Valley Railway), and the suburbs surrounding my Essendon apartment. This was the 4th of 10 finds for the day, and the 236th of 242 finds for the trip.
Headed out after work for my last caching afternoon of the Melbourne trip, as I will be flying back to Sydney straight after the training course finishes tomorrow afternoon, for some final cache finds. Visited the suburbs of Brunswick, Coburg, Hadfield, and Oak Park throughout the afternoon.
Next stop was for this one, and a nice quick find of a sneaky hide. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC MAS0N.

The train line was having extensive work done on it this weekend and there were workers everywhere. Couldn’t get near GZ.
Found this one after a couple of laps around. Title gives more of a hint than the hint! Favorite for creativity as well. Save these trees!!!!! TFTC
Out Geocaching with the kids. So many established trees labeled for destruction Found it the second time looking at that spot realising it was not quite right. Kids loved the trainspotting whilst hunting. Heading to the playground now. TFTC
I have been slowly collecting these Parkville Puzzles and Challenges in the area since the first day they were released. Today was time to collect these ones, and a few others.
Lovely hide that I found pretty quickly, once I stopped looking at the wrong elevation and tried right side of the train line
I have seen this sort of hide before, but this might be the best installation of it
Thanks for the cache MAS0N

I love this hide - it was very clever. Finding and singing the log between trains was interesting tonight. TFTC MASON. A favourite from me.
Found with Cybergran V after spending the day chasing the last of the Parkville Challenge caches before they get archived.
We wanted at least one trad' to log straight away for the first day of the Streak Week souvenir challenge.
We could not have picked a better hide. We both loved it.
Clever and entertaining.

Such a welcome relief from the "tupperware" we have been seeing all day.

Found by dalerious on a day of typical Melbourne weather.
A very clever hide of a type that I’ve never seen before. I have seen similar, but this one gets my favourite cache of the day for ingenuity.
Thanks for placing it here for our entertainment and enjoyment.

Ha ha very clever!!
I found it but had no pen to write on the notes. Nor is there enough space to drop-off the item I found in another geocache and need to relocate!!

I decided to combine the need to find some caches for the Museum Heist souvenir thing, with the need to find the Parkville caches before they are archived. So despite the forecast of an icy blast and rain hitting Melbourne today I hit the Brunswick trails on my bike.
I had DNFd this one on the way north, but while cycling back south the cache title gave me another idea and I decided to have another look. And on the second visit to GZ went straight to the cache. How could I have missed it earlier...?
Thanks for the clever cache, MAS0N.

It’s a freezing day! I nearly give up but finally I got it! This is the first time I start to find geocache. It’s really is a fun game! I only can tell you guys it’s not the tree.Hhhhh
Had no pen but nice and quick find with hop2jump88! TFTC! What a clever cache!
Found it nice hide had to wait for a few trains and muffled about and capture a photo for the kids who are not here and hate when I go without them thanks
TFTC Easy find ~ My first cache in VICTORIA. Visiting from Townsville Qld. Signed log & RAF.
So after I checked into the hotel (conveniently located on Sydney Rd) I dumped my stuff in the room and got ready for an evening of caching along the bike path. First I walked up Sydney Rd and grabbed a bite to eat in a trendy pub full of hipsters. After a delicious Ruben sandwich and a beer I continued on to Between the Lines and from there I walked back to the hotel. Huge walk and made my kms walked for the day on the iWatch to be in excess of 15kms. Epic my feet were killing me by the time I was back at the hotel and off to bed.
Loved the caches along the bike trail was impressed by the variety of hides, very clever all of them. Weather was perfect, no rain and not too cold. Still had to be very careful of the cyclists they are a quick bunch, you have to have your wits about you. There were a couple of dodgy characters about but didn't feel threatened. The graffiti art was also pretty cool shame about the graffiti not as nice as the graffiti art.
All caches were found, which was great.
Thanks to all the COs without you we wouldn't have a game to play.
Found this one pretty quickly, its so well done. Have a FP. TFTC MAS0N

Today I had one of those days where all work for the day was cancelled. I had some maintenance to do on a geocache in Carlton, so I figured I could do that, then explore some of my old haunts and find a few caches on my travels. It threatened rain all day but nothing significant was forethcomeing until after I was safely back in the car after about 5 hours of hiking around the area.
After hiking around the uni, I moved further north to tackle the trail of caches along the Upfield line. Not many bikes on the trail today, but just enough to keep you on your toes.
Very cool hide. I spent quite some time fingering around looking for a more traditional style hide, before reading some previous logs. I was encouraged to look for something with a bit more flair, and I found it!
A FAV point!

A nicely executed cache, all nice and snug. I agree that it would be a great one to introduce a muggle friend into the game. I had to wait for a train to leave the station to replace the cache, and was soon off. Thanks!
We picked this one up on our way home. The bridge over the train tracks had just a few too many steps for the pram/stroller we had in tow. This was a terrific hide. Just loved it. We found it after a bit of searching around. I'm sad that the tree is no longer here. TFTC
Ah, nice one. Spotted almost immediately, but had to wait out a muggle busy polluting his lungs a short distance away, before confirming suspicions and retrieving.
Have only seen this sort of hide twice before, but this was a very well done example of the type - definitely worth a fave point.
Signed the log, visited a trackable. Thanks for the cache, MAS0N.

A quick find with JSando on our way home from an impromptu date night dinner. The fave points attracted us, with good reason. A great example of what you can do with an urban cache hide. TFTC
Found with carkisser on our way out home from dinner.
Parked near by soon had cache in hand.
Took nothing/ left nothing.

Found after going to a boardgame con. Was a easy find and quick retrieval. great Camo. A muggle appeared to walk his dog, so waited in between fetches to return the log. TFTC.
Catching up on a couple of lost or forgotten caches that l found while out for a few caches on my bike today. This one brought me to a busy little area but in between passing muggles l spotted the sneaky hide. Talk about a cache in plain view but what a cheeky one! Thanks MAS0N for the clever hide, will reward it a fave point for the fun factor.
The pile of favourite points made this a target, so I made this the destination of a morning ride. My phone was telling me that gz was about 6 m away, but that area didn't really make sense. When I lifted my eyes to take in the wider scene, I saw another possible place and there I found and signed. The camo is beautifully effective. Thanks MAS0N
Some free style caching by stealth bike today chasing random caches with favorites and a few others in between. Qucikly onto this. Very clever. Thanks to MAS0N for the placement and fun.
Marshall’s Geelong Found this cache today,
Quick easy find while visiting friends. The name of the cache is the biggest hint there is. Found in between trains.

#6778. I am over in Melbourne for a few days attending a workshop and decided to stay on over the weekend to pick up a few more geocaches. I was staying at a motel on Mount Alexander Rd so this cache wasn't too far away. Parked nearby and headed over to the GZ not sure what I was looking for. But as soon as I clapped eyes on it I knew the nature of the beast. Clever title. This is a popular place to hide caches in New Zealand. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks MAS0N for the cache.
Awesome! Luckily we saw a similar cache only a few weeks earlier or we might have been there a lot longer! Thanks for a great hide!
Great little hiding place. Found one just like this one last weekend so this was a quick park and grab. Thanks for the cache MAS0N
Quick and easy find the last one for the day
Thanks for the cache MAS0N with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

Arrived in Melbourne for work on a beautiful Sunday afternoon so decided I better go caching. Was in this area and couldn’t ignore a cache with so many FP. What a great hide that didn’t take too long to spy. I love the idea for a hide and now I’m wondering if there is anything like this in Brisbane that could nice camo a cache.
Excellent camo! I love the pun in the name as well. 8 for 8 so far tonight on my late-night caching run. TFTC
We soon homed in on and found this sneaky little cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the very clever cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Out with xambo4u, we had a short search here before spotting the devious hide. A favourite point, thanks MASON
First cache in a while. Might have the bug again!
Welcome to Geocaching Koyomi and Vaughan!!

I wasn't confident I'd be able to find this one, given that the last log was a DNF by an experienced cacher. I did find his 'likely spot', but methinks he just needed to look a bit harder....

After visiting in the area we decided to pick up a couple of caches on the way home that had a large number of favourites and this was the second one. While there was the odd Muggle or two heading to and from the station the area around the station was relatively quiet for a Sunday and parking was easy. The GPS was a bit all over the place so originally we were looking in all the wrong places then Mr Pooky's geosenses kicked in and he soon had the cache in hand, although Mrs Pooky had looked there earlier but she did not look hard enough. It took us way longer than it should have. TFTC.
My first cache back after many years of hiatus. Introduced my boyfriend QMANIOUS to caching with this one and he’s hooked! Great little find, thank you so much!
Find Number 1. Great one to start with some but not too much difficulty. Thank you for being in the business. Found with my girlfriend malicemadden.
Find No. 2494. Found at 11.47am
Down in Coburg for a medical appointment. With time we kill before the appointment we went for a walk around the streets and came across two close by caches that we could get. This was one of them. Our GPS was spot one and with the clue given, cache was easy to find.. No muggles nearby while signing log. From here we went and sat on the seat until our appt time got closer. A nice small park with plenty of shade.

I found this cache, a bit away from where I had checked first. Found in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. TFTC!
Heading in to town to have dinner with our daughter we arrived a little early so we decided to grab some caches while we were waiting.
Parking was at a premium when we arrived but we eventually found one and wandered back through the gardens to gz. We then had to wait for the passengers off a train that had just pulled in straggle their way out of sight before we could start to search. We would love to say that this was a nice quick find after that, but that would be a lie. It did take us quite a few minutes of searching even though there aren't too many obvious places to hide a cache we still managed to search all the wrong ones and then Diane had an idea and not long after that we had the cache in hand and we were adding our name to the log.
This is the first of this type of hide we have seen and we really enjoyed the thought that went into it and we are adding another favourite point.
Thanks for the cache MASON

Although G' of GJMMelb had previously found this one, he tagged along as lochb and I went to give it a go. Glad I don't have to cross the railway lines here every day - once was enough! Once on the other side we searched for the cache and while I spotted some markers than usually indicate a nearby cache, this was not the right hiding place (although a typical one). lochb meanwhile had been looking nearby and spotted something - sure enough it was the sneaky cache (a style we'd seen before) and she logged our visit TFTC (Ugh! - back over the bridge again...)
