This was an interesting experience. As usual I was caching solo, but that wasn't an issue. First, the plaques on the sign at the posted coordinates have been changed. I resorted to google street view and a little guesswork to obtain the coordinates for the waypoints. Second, there was no sign of Puzzle B, so I moved on to Puzzle A and soon had that in hand Google was my friend again, and I then received an image of Puzzle B in reply to requests to a previous finder and the CO. More online answers sought (what on earth did we ever do without Google?) and then off to GZ although my third party app initially had a glitch, and tried to direct me back to the posted coordinates instead. Once at GZ, much entertainment was had, even at a party for one. A great concept, and great fun. TFTC The Rusty's
I found this cache on my second visit. On my first visit here I visited both PUZZLE POINT A and B...I could locate the clue at B but not A, so I gave up and went back home. This time around I could locate A but not B, but past-me took a photo of the clue on my phone, which reminded me I had a note on the answers from over a year ago, which after working out A provided the full coords. I then headed out (unfittingly) solo to where this amazing container with goodies was hidden. This cache is such a great concept so I hope all is ok at PUZZLE POINT B as I'd like to see this one *stay'n alive*. A fav point from me. tftc
Embarked on this cache with echidna44. This cache had us pondering at various stages and second guessing our answers. Finally found the field puzzles after quite a search; they were quite hidden in the overgrowth. Debated whether we should return another day, since nearly an hour's caching had yielded no smiles, but decided to continue. Again we groaned as we found ourselves ploughing through bushland, and struggling to make the find. But once we did, you couldn't wipe the smiles from our faces. We laughed like the kookaburras and had a blast of a teaparty. Thanks for creating and sharing with us this fiendish hilarious genius of a cache. It gets our Favourite Party Vote! Thanks The Rustys
What a hoot….
Lots of laughter with one of pinnacle333. (we will have to return with the other two)
We collected the numbers and set out on our different journeys. Having obtained the field puzzles, we conferred and nearly abandoned the multi so we could bring the other pinnacles to join in.
Very glad we didn’t. Mr Google helped us and we set off. We did a little bush bashing as we didn’t read there was a clear route in, so we arrived from different directions looking a bit messy and dishevelled for the fancy dress party, which added to the fun.
A fabulous multi that has taken time and effort to set up. Greatly enjoyed.
A favourite point, thanks The Rustys

Out for a late arvo of caching with quiet1_au, we had over estimated the amount of time it would take to get there and so had worked out both lots of co-ords by the time he arrived. We chose Option A and q1 went to B. We set up Messenger “Share your location” so we could see where each other were lol (see photo)
We arrived at A and looked around for the field puzzle but couldn’t find anything. We read the hint, changed our position a little and there it was. As expected and with a bit of googling we were able to extricate half the co-ords and messaged q1 to see how he was going. After his initial slight hiccup he was going through his list of clues and soon had his co-ords. We set off to GZ and waited for q1 to arrive and then revealed the party lol We had lots of fun dressing up and taking the photos attached. What a fun cache!
TFTC The Rustys - GJMMelb A fave point from us!

Out for a few afternoon caches with GJMMelb we headed for this one first. They had arrived ahead of schedule so had collected the information for the first stage already. So we split up, they went to Puzzle A and I to B. Here I did the calculations and oh, oops that's what they had already done. Hmm - where's that field puzzle? I eventually found it and like others before me disturbed the ants (but they are not bullants but some quite benign red and black ones who did no more harm than continually get in the way of the clues I was trying to photograph so I could put their home back in place!) Some Googling and a mistake sorted out we were off to GZ where having been delayed sorting out my coordinate mistake found GJMMelb already there. Obligatory fancy dress photo taken (I deliberately went for a mask!) we headed back to the cars and on to the next cache. TFTC - a favourite point for the teamwork fun of this one
I started working on qualifying for "The Helen D'Amico Challenge (a 365 day streak challenge)" (GC873NG) at the end of last year. So of course by working on that challenge I have slowly progressed filling in my "Finds by Found Date" calendar.
I have always had more find dates in my "Finds by Hidden Date" calendar than my "Finds by Found Date." However, after working on this challenge that was no longer the case. In order to balance the two I decided to try and focus on finding some caches that would close off some of the gaps I have in my "Finds by Hidden Date" calendar.
So as I was looking at that geocaching map to try and see possible caches that would fill a gap I came across this one. This one had been on my list of caches to find for awhile as it being so close to home. So today was the day to try and find this one and close off my April 30th Hidden Date gap.
Once I arrived at the posted coordinates I realised that this cache was actually meant for a group, but reading thought the cache page I figured I would still be able to complete it myself. So I continued on. I was able to solve the both set of coordinates fairly quick and was off to find Puzzle A.
However, after a good 20 min. of searching there I came up empty. I figured I would then go back to Puzzle B to see if I could get an idea of the type of puzzle / hide that may help in my aid of searching for Puzzle A.
It was a gorgeous walk over from Puzzle A to Puzzle B. I never knew this little reserve was out here, but I really enjoyed exploring it, even with the bit of residual wetness.
Once I arrive at Puzzle B, the field puzzle was easily obtained. Just like Rabbitto said, the ants definitely didn't enjoy me disturbing their home. So I quick obtained the required information and replaced everything, so they could go about their day.
Now armed with the an idea of what Puzzle A may look like, I headed back over to Puzzle for a bit more searching. Unfortunately no luck was had in the search. But a PAF to the CO and The Rustys had be back on track.
With a bit of googling the final coordinates were solved and I made the walk over to GZ. With a bit of searching the cache was finally in hand and wow what a cache it was.
This one definitely earns a favourite point from me I had an absolute blast enjoying the Fancy Dress Party. I wish I would have done this one in a group but in lieu it was still a great time. I left my Favourite Point pathtag for the CO as a thanks for the fun.
After I found the cache I went back to Puzzle A and was able to find the required information. So everything is all good here. Thanks for the fun today and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
The signs at the posted coordinates are still in good shape and the information was easily obtained. Both Puzzle A and Puzzle, (once I found them lol) were also in good shape, and the the puzzles were easily readable. The final cache was in good shape. The inner contents were in great shape. The logbook was clean and dry, with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

I found this cache today on my Mini Morning Ferntree Gully Cache Hunt. I had had this one on my caching radar for a long, long while and I admit that I thought that (without reading it) that it would be a cache that needed two phones to log in at the same time so I put it on the backburner till an opportunity came along. It never did, but then Covid came along instead so now that we are free once more, I had a read and realised what was really on offer and headed out on my own. I found B first (the bull ants were not impressed that I removed their roof) then went on the hunt for A but misread the hint and I was looking in the wrong spot for way too long. Once I re-read, I soon had it in hand. Now that I had the info, I made my way to GZ to find the very ample cache. I really liked this one even though I did do it solo. Just as a note, an area where you do need to walk at one point has been covered in many, many truck loads of landfill (One truck passed me on the track with another load) It doesn't stop you getting to any of the three WPs but it is probably a little more difficult than it used to be back in 2015. Thanks from D B-A
Find number 9653 at 8:58:33 am on Sunday the 22 August 2021
Found Part B the other day but had to seek the assistance of a previous finder cause I couldn't find Part A but this morning I had a look with boys eyes and ended up finding Part A as well.
Proceeded to the GZ to have a little play (all in good order).

This one was fun. Did it solo or actually with google has he was very good with the answers.
An intresting location which is obviously a kids paradise for nature play. With the coords known the cache was quickly found but was about 13m out today, maybe google was wrong... The hint solved that issue and sure enough name added to the book. This took me about 45mins. Now to keep jogging before the rain starts. Already a few drops starting...

Had a great time finding this cache with the kids.
Only our fourth cache and they're hooked.
Hats off to The Rustys as a lot of thought and effort must have gone into the creation of The Dress Up Party.
Beware the Ants!

Beware the Ants!
That's really clever. Really clever.
The ants loved it.
The bananas loved it.
With only one GPS, B2 wanted a hand to be held. So like the bods before us we followed suit.
Here was a treasure of the highest quality.
Significantly unloved when found it has stood the test of time. The clues once found were perfect, even with thousands of ants using it as a roof to the nursery of incubating eggs. They were either happy to see the bananas and all came out to see us (likely) or were upset with all hands on deck to rearrange the top level after the roof had been removed (unlikely).
Anyway the clues were analysed before the ants roof would be restored.
So with hands held it was onto the party venue.
And
Didn't it go off.
Weeks later it is still the subject of much deserved adulation and conversation.
So favourite points from all who attended.
As a comment this is an example of there being too many treasures out in the wild. In an attempt to find numbers by completing repetitive power trails this easy find in a superb location has become unloved and almost lost. At the time of writing this report (catching up) there had been nearly a year of with only 1 find.
This treasure deserves more.
It is a pity that more are not like this providing entertainment and memories, so rare in mindless numbers

I have looked at this multi for such a long time - it is less than 1km from my house! However I couldnt find someone to do it with so last week I decided to do it on my own - sorry Rustys! I made the finds at WP1 and WP2 and sat down to figure out the coords for the final. I wandered to a very interesting area at GZ - an ideal location for a party! Making the quick find I reflected on this cache - what a brilliant execution of a great idea! This has it all - teamwork, puzzles, fun and humour. Fantastic job the Rustys - Im sorry I didnt do it properly but I had a great time - a fave from me
Caching in the area after attending the "9 months to Mega" event with beckNmonts we took advantage of dressing up for the Rustys Fancy Dress Party as we worked as a team , girls against boy! Working out the clues we went our seperate ways to locate the fun field puzzle where after much googling and collating we finally had the party address [^] We then trotted off to gate crash the colourful party and meet up with our partner in crime. Much frivolity was had trying on costumes especially by the male Triton, who decided he was an assortment of characters, none of which blended together but he had fun anyway lol
Thanks The Rustys for the unique multi, we had a ball, a favourite for sure.

Caching in this area with another team for a chance, I took the opportunity to be able to complete this cache with The_Tritonz. I think, the photos will speak for themselves here. I’ll let The_Tritonz put up their own incriminating photo... Thanks so much for placing this cache The Rustys, a favourite from me.
Will see to the pesky bull ants, remove manky items and soggy log book and get this back to its former glory.
Of course it was a great cache. It was a Rustys cache.
I had been thinking of building a wherigo similar to this, but had played around with different ways to implement it. And this just nails it. What a great concept! As ilukaperi has said, we went the walkie talkie option. 1st WP was done easily. Then at the second WP, I turned over an object and suddenly...
"CHARGE" a scream rumbled across the grass. "DEFEND THE QUEEN AT ALL COSTS!"
I awoke an army of approximately a bazillion ants.
I had to retreat a safe distance (3 meters away) and then use the zoom on my phone to take a photo of the clue.
Once that was done I looked at the clue and I could solve one part of it without using google
So I used Google.
ilukaperi and I corresponded our answers back and forth and then check our results and headed off to the final location where after a while we unfortunately found a cache with some semi manky items and a totally sodden log book.
Unortunate, because the rest of the cache was a real highlight and its getting a FAV point anyway.
Thankyou The Rustys....

Caching with day1976, I was team A and he was B. We used a couple of walkie talkies. My puzzle had medium sized black ants on it, and the one Day found was on top of a bullants nest. With help from Google, we worked out the coordinates and set off again. Took ages to find the cache, coords were jumping around heaps and the clue is a bit old. Day found it just sitting under a tree. Log book and costumes were saturated.
Found it with CurlyCee, MC_Sarah and a crew of kids! This was a fun one - we are drying out the cache contents - photos to follow! TFTC Rusty’s, a favourite for us
Together with mc_sarah and Stammily, we and our assorted children met at the sign for a fun morning of caching.
We quickly solved the first part, then went our separate ways. With the help of Google (none of us knew the answers to the questions to solve for the coordinates!) we called each other and shared our answers, to solve for the final coordinates.
We found the path easy to access from Puzzle Point A, but our friends had a little more trouble arriving at GZ.
The kids were absolutely delighted to find all of the dress ups. We thought it was the glitziest loot we had ever come across, not realising they weren't swaps! My 9 year old was quite taken with the blinging necklace; so we dutifully trudged back to the car to get swaps; only to get a phone call from our team mates informing us that they are NOT to swap, and only for dressing up purposes.
My kids were over it by that point so ran up and down nearby stone piles, while the others had fun dressing up.
Short walk back to the cars, and a shared morning tea.
A lovely way to spend our morning.
Thankyou so much for placing this enjoyable cache

With our initial numbers determined we set off for our respective puzzle points. It gave us a chance to use the radios, which always adds an interesting element, particular some of the chatter you come across. We must have sounded suitably odd muttering numbers to each other. We managed to cobble together what we needed and met up to join the party. The container had some water inside so we drained it out. The log itself is in perfect nick sitting safely inside the zip lock bag.

First things first - have a favourite point! This was good fun and a clever idea for a multi. This morning I teamed up with my usual partner in caching, Square_Pegs. At the posted co-ords we quickly had the co-ords that we each needed. I went that way and SP went the other. Our comms tool of choice today were UHF radios which was for a few minutes like running our own numbers station if anyone was listening in the good news is we found the address to the party, signed the guest book, drank all the beer and ate their party snacks.
Thanks to The Rustys.

Trekking the tracks with Lukie1987.
Had a few laughs, nearly disappeared down a wombat burrow.
Got my Bart on!

Take 2. Haha took us all of 2 minutes to find this in the daylight. We'd fail as night cachers.
We happily donned our costumes & took a photo.
Signed the nice clean log book and popped the lid on tight. Don't want any visitors.

What a night. We left with Jam01201 and when we got to the start both teams headed off with our co ordinations. My ph went flat but lucky I had pen and paper to write down the playlist questions. We meet up with team Jam01201 and worked out the last co. His ph died. . So it was getting dark so we headed to maxi to buy a torch and charge the ph. Found portable charger with, ph and torch in hand we approached GZ....we havent been eating our carrots so we will be back lol....always keep your equipment charged

Headed out with 88Andy88 on this, another glorious winters day towards Warburton via Olinda to find a few caches and generally enjoy the sunshine.
After finishing off at Warburton, we decided to head back towards home and try and clear out some more unfound caches in our 10k zone.
This one was the last of the day and it was a real fun one. Sun was starting to go down, so we needed to have our game faces on We both headed to the 2 separate locations gathering the needed info, then we both took half each and did our teamwork portion. YAY, got it right first go. Got into the spirit of the cache with a quick photo before it turned dark.

All updated and fixed up. NEW DRESS UPS!! New waypoints. Bigger and better than ever!
Lovely sunny afternoon for a cache while taking bubs for a walk. Met up with Sheldea & Co at the start and we were soon on our way. cross checked our starting figures before going our separate paths - learnt that tip ages ago on a puzzle cache where we had to count the 'l's and kept missing one. Drove us insane with wasting time driving to the wrong waypoint etc. All good today though, soon had my part done and wasn't long before a text came through with Sheldeas part. Getting to GZ with the prams was a little bit awkward, we were so close! Sheldea and her son went and brought it back to us instead and we dressed up the babies!!some crazy looking kids
Many thanks for a great afternoon, a fav from me.

A beautiful sunny winters day, to nice to be inside so I dragged the 11 year old off the computer where he'd been glued for hours and set out on an adventure. We met up with katnat2 which team would go which way... with a pram each we were both hoping for the easy route. No such luck for me. I set off down the road hopibg to solve my puzzle first but had to stop and give bub his bottle, thirsty work sitting in a pram. At gz Mr 11 set off to find the cache but as normal he headed off in the wrong direction. Once found we took ot back to where katnat2 was waiting with the babies so our party could start. One bub was delighted to be dressed up, the other well it broke her heart no way was she having anything put on her head. Cute pic to follow.

A week ago, an invitation was posted on social media, requesting assistance to get to a party.
Since it is within 10k of my home, I have been wanting to attend this party for a long time.
So I quickly rsvp'd, and a plan was soon in place.
Of course, I arrived way too early. But this gave me time to suss out the area, and work out what was needed.
BendSinister and Ruverbug Jam arrived fashionably late, but were soon performing some quick calculations.
With two paths from which to choose, BS took the low road, while RJ & I took the high road.
We arrived at the first stop... actually we were so busy chatting that we overshot by about 40 metres!
After 20 mins of scouring the place, I made a quick call to the party host, who confirmed we were in the right area.
After realising we were to continue without a vital piece of information, we met up with BS, and began to narrow down our possibilities for gz.
As we zoned in on a plausible gz, we were met by the host herself, with her two assistants, and before long, we were partying like it's 1999.
Thanks The Rustys for a novel idea for a fun cache. A fav point heading your way

I've been intrigued by this multi so was delighted that OzHockeyChick and Ruverbug Jam agreed to make up a second team so we could complete the tasks in the intended fashion. (It was, incidentally, also nice to meet OzHockeyChick for the first time, just generally!) I initially failed to enter wholly correct coordinates at the starting point, but soon discovered the one advantage of RbJ and I arriving staggeringly late. Namely that OHC was already on top of such matters and could set me straight in a jiffy.
We then parted ways. It seems the required information was missing at RbJ and OHC's end but things went swimmingly from my point of view: I found the information at Point B and worked through the task as intended. The puzzle element turned out to be fun; right up my proverbial alley, one might even say. In the end, we called upon for the CO for advice and she arrived in person to fill in the gaps left by the absent puzzle piece. The cache with its slightly bonkers payload was then found after a bit of a rummage around. Terrifyingly enough there is photographic evidence of what happened next. Despite our troubled execution this evening I really rather liked this one. Thanks The Rustys for the cache and the extra assistance!

Found with OzHockeyChick and Bend Sinister, and the CO.
Little Ruverbug had a great time checking out the costume stash and spending time with Bend and OHC making our way here, with a little help.
Thank you Rustys. Great idea for a cache.

After deploying a new cache this morning we headed up to continue the quest to find all Rusty's caches. We have four left, and now after this, three.
The caching gods are definitely looking down on us these days. Beautiful weather, dry, and bathed with golden Autumn light. At the posted co-ordinates the numbers were crunched for our first waypoints. The geomissus isn't that in to caching alone or operating the app so I set everything up for her and sent her on her way. I took the longer route because I have longer legs and move a heck of a lot faster on my own. By the time I bush-bashed my way in to the track and found my way to Point B. By the time I got there Point A was found and information messaged to me. I found my clues and we met up in the middle to figure things out.
Initially we headed deeper in to the bush towards GZ but things didn't seem right, so we headed back and approached via a more sensible route. It took a bit of searching and climbing over things but I managed to pull out the container for log signing. We donned our high tech identity cloaking devices and completed the mission with a photo of us enjoying the experience.
On the walk back to the car the CO herself passed us in her car, although neither of us recognised each other at the time! It was a few minutes later when an SMS came through asking if it was us... yep! but unfortunately were were heading away so we'll have to find each other another time to say hello.

We started this cache with geo friends from South Australia a couple of weeks ago. Day 1 we searched and found the clues, then the heavens opened and we were were rained out, then our internet connecting device died so day 1 was a bit of a disaster. Unfortunately friends have gone home but today Day 2 we set off to finish the find. Went for a short walk armed with all the information and found the required cache. A little bit damp inside the container but spent time mopping out the container and drying things off. It is a long time since this has been found but everything is still intact and in good condition. Thanks for the cache a favourite for us.
Wow. This was harder than we first expected it to be. Spiffy- went to A and I went to B. Light rain as we worked out GZ and then made the find. Thanks for the cache. Took the TB
Even though the weather was terrible today, Sunday is really the only day I get a few hours spare time in a row so I headed out with Fleabag for another trip up into the hills but not before stopping at a few newish ones on the way.
We arrived while it was raining so managed to work out the coordinates from the warmth and dryness of the car. Then we each headed off. I found my clues then saw no sign of Fleabag so went and found him.
After knowing barely any of the answers a lot of searching later we had a GZ that Fleabag- had gone right past on his way in. HeHe.
Since it was raining we skipped the dressing up bit but a great concept for a cache. I'll give it a favourite.
Thanks The Rusty's for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Who likes to rock the party? We like to rock the party. We weren't quite as deadpan as the Conchords about this cache. It was *awesome* fun.
We met up with sarejuergi and Zeus, Hera & kids after school to get into our fancy Nancy Gantz dance pants to rock this cache. Sarejuergi and two kids went up track A, while Hera, myself and five kids went up track B. Talk about monkey training! The kids were wild, whooping and loving being outside in the forest.
I had no idea what to expect, and we found sarejuergi before we found our waypoint. When got our information we were puzzled, until we had a bit of a brainwave, then another one, and got down the coords to GZ. Very clever, The Rusty's. I only knew one of the answers off the top of my head, and I presume that's because I'm not very Smooth. (Thank goodness!!!)
The kids all raced off to GZ, and sarejuergi's kids uncovered the cache. What a find! The lid was barely off before we had a cheerleader in Harry Potter glasses, a blondie Elvis, a pirate homeboy, a fairy devil with a lei and a few extra fairies. We took heaps of photos, and the kids loved it and had a good old play with their dress-ups.
We signed the log (before we all tore it, just a little bit), and reluctantly put the dress-ups back.
What a fab cache, The Rusty's. So much fun and inventive with a really interesting set of twists in this multi. A favourite point from me.

While out and about searching for caches with Biggles1024 and this one was found.
We had started our Friday night cache run a bit early this week as we are trying to get 31 or more multi's this month and we are running out of days.
This one was the 3rd on the list for tonight, we arrived at the start and went about calculating our selected waypoints.
Mark starting heading off to his one, but that was the way I also wanted to go, so we just went together.
We arrived at Marks waypoint first but after a search, nothing was found. I decided to head of to my waypoint to see what I could find. Once there the GPSr had us looking on the wrong side of the track, but after a short search I changed side and I soon had what we were looking for, with the puzzling information recorded we headed back to the other waypoint for another look.
After searching some more with out finding anything we headed back to the car but checking different locations along the way and all of a sudden it was there, Mark had located it.
With the other half of the puzzling information now recorded which wasn't making a lot of sense, we headed back to the car, once there Mark had an idea and shortly after we had our GZ coordinates.
We then headed off to GZ and with a short walk into the bush the cache was soon found, no dress ups though, as it was late and time to go home to bed.
Thanks to The Rusty's for placing this cache.

Let's get this party started! 3 Mums and 7 kids arrived here after school ready to paartaay! Vannessa &Aodh sent out the invites and myself & my 3 geokids and Hera & her 3 kids arrived at the listed co-ords. In between the kids jumping around the signs we were able to work out our required co-ords......and headed off in our separate directions. I had path A to travel and we soon arrived at our co-ords and found what was required to continue. We didn't know the answers but figured out what we needed to do. We continued walking and soon met up with the rest of our teammates. Whilst the Mums worked out the answers with the help of Mr Google the kids started playing party games.....limbo .
We then worked out the co-ords for the final location and set off on another short walk. Kids hunted around and soon had the cache in hand....and the partying really began! Everyone loved it and a fav point from us!
Thanks for all the effort put in this cache and for it being something different.
Dropped off TB

We were the guinea pigs on this cache before it was published - we tested it for The Rusty's to make sure it all worked but we didn't sign the log . . . So with a couple of other geofriends keen to party, we all set out after school. Hera and the kids all hung back so we didn't spoil the experience for the other teams. The Sarejuergi kids made the final find and soon the party was in full swing! I'm posting some pics from our testing find plus our official find.

An unscheduled mid-week mini caching run. This was a strange cache right from the outset. We collected the information at the start and then proceeded to the first waypoint. We looked high and low but couldn't find anything. We resorted to the hint, but still nothing. We then went the second and Steve made a quick find. Our GPSs indicated one side of the track, but we found the information on the other. We returned to my waypoint and searched again this time secure in the knowledge that our theory as to what we were looking for had been proven correct. Still nothing. We couldn't work out what to do with the information collected either so this cache was looking like a total bust. [B)] As we walked towards the car, we checked likely places and voila! I turned up what we'd been looking for. It still didn't help us work out what to do with the information.
When we arrived at the start, a re-evaluation of the information revealed that I had made not one, but two mistakes. [:o)] No wonder I couldn't find anything at my way point.
In the comfort of the car, one particular piece of information caused a change of thought processes and it wasn't long before we were happily churning out the co-ords for GZ. It was with some relief that we saw that GZ wasn't far away and a short walk through the bush resulted in the good sized container being spotted.
A different sort of cache and for that I'm awarding it a favourite point.

I'm finding in generally busy or not interested during the rare nearby cache publications.. I was in Upwey traveling home from Monbulk when I noticed this one.. Sure it was cold. But I thought why not.. So Spladem n I set about working this one out. I counted whilst he wrote down the observations. We double checked each others work then headed to the two waypoints. We stuck together for warmth and company. I worked out the clues but he found the stashes.. Shared *FTF* TFTC
