Checked to make sure the cache is still in place. All safe and sound. The cache has been in place too long (9 years) to change the D/T ratings. We will change the hint slightly to make it less confusing.
This is a beautiful spot to sit and relax. Unfortunately, due to the lateness of the day, there was no time for relaxing. We had a quick boys look for the cache but, with muggles passing by and some taking a seat nearby, we decided to resort to a PAF to avoid drawing attention. Our PAF came through, and the cache was quickly retrieved, signed, and replaced as found, without anyone being the wiser. Thanks for a fun cache Harrowang.
The level of complexity to find this cache might indicate difficulty 1 could be a bit lowthe logs dont indicate it's an easy findI would come back if the CO considers updating the difficulty rating
Kid free, and with the wife at work, I decided to spend the afternoon caching around Wangaratta. So many little gems around Wang. Good weather today and lots of interesting caches and places visited.Made my way around on foot, collecting AdLab waypoints and ended up near this lovely little park. I sat down and soon had cache.TFTC!
Escaped from the Office for a walk in the fresh air this afternoon. Dropped in to check on this cache along my way. Cache in place and all good here. The trees are looking bare at the end of winter.
It took two pies from the local bakery and a good think of where we might look. Found it in the end. TFTC.
had a brief look around where the pin is and it wasn't to be found. might be back with a bit more time when there's less muggles around.
Dropped in to check this cache after the Solstice Event in Apex Park tonight. Container still in place. We left our newest harrows pathtag.
Searched and searched, hint seems to mislead. Checked all seats, felt horrible searching the garden. Geokid disappointed we could not locate it after 20 minutes.
Dropped in to check on this one after the recent DNF. Cache is still safely in place and ready to be found.
Oh no!How did this cache beat us today?I cant believe we managed to get the firemen pole nearby, and this eluded us.Hope next cacher has better eyes than us. Or confirms that is not longer there.Either or, I will be happy anywayNext time we might get better luck
We have been walking passed this cache most nights on our way to the RSL for dinner. One night we had a token look and another night a homeless gent had set his trolley up so we didnt want to bother him. Each time I have been shaking my fist at this hide knowing we just needed the right time to strike. What we really needed was some liquid courage and after another skinful at the Riss, Mrs Woodyrothwell came up with the goods. I can finally sleep peacefully tonight. tftc
What a beautiful park on this beautiful sunny day Took longer than we thought but we eventually come across it
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook so we photo it
Found this one on the way north ., wasnt able to pick this one up at the Mega but got a solid hint from CO and today was just right for the pick up unfortunately was almost interrupted by a muggle so signed in a random place and quickly returned cache.. thanks Harrowang for the cache
I passed this lovely park and cache on the way into town today, but there were muggles about, so I shuffled on.A few hours later the park was empty, leaving me free to search unhindered.Took a little while until I sat back and thought hhhm where would I hide a geocache and put my hand right on it! Love it when that happens. Second time today.Loved the plane trees and there network of exposed roots i felt bad trampling on so walked around. Thanks harrowang for hiding a cache in this lovely park and naming it with a Q.
The Adelaide Leap Day Mega and Canberra Geobash gave us a great excuse for a road trip. This trip has shown us so many new and interesting places as weve chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites.Meeting up with friends old and new along the way, we sometimes cached together and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Today we went for a walk from our caravan park to explore the town on foot, completing some Adlabs and finding any caches we passed along the way. In the afternoon we drove out to explore Mullinmur Billabongs which was a lovely quiet spot. Unfortunately we didnt see any platypus while we were there but we did find a cache. Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache and adding to our enjoyment.
Thought we might pick up the Mosquito TB to take on some more adventures, but it has already buzzed off in somebodys caching bag. Hope it gets logged out of our cache soon.
Dropped a Mozzie TB into this one to start its journey. Found this one way back in 2016.
Time to get some fresh air at the end of the day. Came armed with a pencil sharpener to fix the broken pencil. All sharp again, and re-hid container in original location. The Park is a green and shady oasis in summer.
This one took too long, mainly because of muggles at the park bench nearby. Very nice hide! Blends in nicely with the surroundings. TFTC
I clearly overthink that one, but thanksfully ConnieandRick got it in hands after a little while. TFTC
Had to take two trips since I misread micro size. I would probably call it small. Anyway after going through all the logs it took me about 5 secs. TFTC.
Spontaneous Spring Victorian RoadtripDay Three: Ballarat to Wangaratta. Weather: sensational, especially Ballarat. Last cache of the day, after hanging up the car keys for the day. There was a choice of Adventure Labs walking distance from my motel, and this cache was in the middle of one of them. Not a quick find here, but I persisted and made good after a protracted struggle. Thanks for the challenge Harrowang. Its officially a mega.GCA1DNA The Great Leap ForwardAdelaide, South Australia, February 29, 2024.Wed love to have your company.
Went to check on Quietly Royal late this afternoon after a DNF. Found cache safe and sound in its usual location. Plenty of room in the log book and pencil included in container.
Very clever hide. Had to be careful with a couple of smackheads loitering about. Took K and I a minute or two to find. TFTC.
I’m trying to collect all the caches in Wang so that I have a sea of little yellow faces.
Unfortunately some geocaches names scare me because I know how tough their hides are. Harrowang is one of those names. Thanks Harrowang placing and maintaining this cache.
Remember to be less depressy and more progressy!

Popped in to check on this one on our way for a morning coffee, also for a few trackables to visit before heading out of Town. All good and quietly waiting for the next geocacher to visit.

This one took quite a bit longer than expected. We made a detour to for our first visit to Wangaratta on our way down to Melbourne. Whilst Lady Thrips popped into the shops, the rest of the clan went in search of this cache. We were just about to give up when a thought struck me and the cache was located. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.

Hello Harrowang thank you for the cache
Didn't take too long to find after the muggle left the seat.
This was one of many caches found on our way to Newcastle to see our grand children.

Awesome cache! Thank you! It was nice to have a seat to sit on and think on such a beautiful day!
Sat Contemplated things. I was spot on with where I thought the cache would be but I didn't search well enough first time around, so in-between searches I sat to ponder some more.
Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
We are now caching around Wangaratta finding caches to meet the A-Z challenge along with a few others.
Thanks for the cache Harrowang.

Driving around Wangaratta slowly getting all the caches for the A - Z challenge. quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found.
Thanks to Harrowang from mogni

Sat and pondered and then geohubby found this well placed cache. Signed log. Lovely breakfast across the road this morning too!
I did have to sit down and think about it. The cache was soon spotted after that.
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. I grew up 40mins from Rutherglen so glad to be back as a cacher.
Thanks for the cache, Harrowang

TFTC Found with Aussie fun seakers. Took a little longer to find as it was tricky
Second find from harrowing.
This one for me took awhile, I was thinking about it the wrong way. Hint very useful and really makes you think outside the box. I couldn't see it, but the location makes lots of sense!

Thanks for the restful cache. Sitting in the park taking a break before walking Doors and Windows Adventure Cache.
Long wait for the night train to Sydney.

Not gonna lie. I got p!^$ed off during this hunt. First in a few years.
Grumble....grumble...not where it should be.... can't find it. Clue is useless. Grumble... grumble...
All of the above, of course, being complete hogwash.
Do as the clue says... esp. if you have spent time already.
Always great to be humbled by a simple and elegant cache.
Many thanks to the CO. Between the hide and the park, a favourite. TNLNSL

Checked on way back from banking business. Plenty of room in the log book and all good with container and contents.
Dropping the dogs and cat off at the kennels and cattery just out of town. Back in town to grab a bite at Pauli’s Corner, which was doing a roaring trade as one of the only businesses open on the public holiday.
Whilst waiting for our order I noticed this very conveniently placed cache, and with great coords I didn’t even need to pause for a seat!
Now time to continue towards Mount Beauty!

We took a seat, cooled down in the shade of the lovely trees, found the cache, SL, and dashed across the road for an excellent iced coffee. TFTC
Checked this one on our way through Town to an Earthcache. All in order and in correct location.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.
We are on school holidays and enjoyed a few days away exploring the area.
Thank you for placing the geocache for us to find today.

Two TASSIES out for ten weeks walkabout. Head to the Spirit of Tasmania tomorrow for the big swim back home. Grabbing a mix of traditionals, virtuals, bonus caches and multis today ...........
at least the ones above flood level, that is ! Got this one after coffees just across the street, but it was out in the open, luckily in good nick and well above flood levels. Put it back in the logical place. TFTC.

Thanks Imaj09 for the heads up about the damp log book. We have replaced the broken container and double bagged the log book. All good again.
Found it! A little waterlogged but still intact, the hint prompted me to take a look around
I got married in this garden in 2010, so lots of good memories here! After searching the seat and coming up empty handed, I widened my search a little and caught a glimpse of the cache! Very clever hiding spot, it blended in well! Signed the log, left a wooden geocoin for the next finder, and replaced exactly as found. Thanks so much for the awesome cache !
Reread the description after searching the seat and saw it was a mint tin. Bang, straight away. What a beautiful little park right in the middle of town.
Just a quick check whilst in Town this afternoon, to make sure all is good here. Yep, still quietly waiting for the next finder.
Quick find in town while up here for the Off Grid Festival in Eldorado.
Sl thanks for the cache.

A muggle nearby but took a seat and looked around. Spotted it to make a quick grab. Tftc
Initially found while out for dinner but didn’t have pen. On way back a guy sitting with. A 6 slab and rolled. Had no idea what we were doing. Tftc harrowing
A lovely day for a stroll. Stopped for a play at the park and also a quick find. TFTF. Now off to finish out adventure lab “doors and windows”
