TFTC. Setting up camp for a week in Murray Bridge before the MEGA for 29th Feb!Moving to Ballarat for another week afterwards. Last hurrah travelling before wooding season at home starts!Happy caching and safe travels!
A nice stop and find here today, cache found in the obvious place and is all goodWith two events scheduled over two days, one a tailem bend and another at Mannum the following day I decided to make an overnight trip out of it. Just over 100 finds for the two days cleaning up the map as I went. Thanks for the cache
Found it! Stopped by on the way home from a day out caching near Murray Bridge and the Kinchina Conservation Park. First lap around GZ resulted in an arm covered in ants. Couldnt see the cache anywhere. Was just about to give up when I saw it several metres into the nearby field.I quickly retrieved it, signed the log and placed back in a logical spot.Nice place, seems a bit of a random spot thought! TFTC!
Found while meandering my through the area grabbing a few caches. This is one found today. A quick find and all good here. Cheers.
Find #4976 on 1 Jan 2023.

We are off to Explore Mypolonga and Mannum today thanks for showing us around. We are enjoying our time in SA, but it is time to slowly head back West again. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Mannum. With the extreme weather of yesterday we werent sure we could access all of the caches that were our target for the day! We had no need to go on the main road but noted the detours in place and the ferry was surely busy!
A part of our day took in November of OTD series and it was possibly the hardest of the whole series that we have completed. Im sure the grey day and the constant drizzle did not help. But smilies all around on completion.

Today was reserved for geocaching after a busy day catching up on chores yesterday.
Up and away by 9am it was a glorious winter day perfect for a drive through the hills and on to Manum.
Had planned a route to collect various caches and ended up with 35 finds for the day.
Had a great day out. By the time I finally got to Manum it was 4pm the light on the water was beautiful.
Time for a couple more caches on the way home before the sun set, these short days are a geocaching killer.
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for my enjoyment, muchly appreciate it.
Amazing old church this really did Used2B. Hope it’s being looked after. TFTC Aussie M&M

Found with Erine14 on a fun day out caching the Monarto-Pallamana-Tepko area! It was a bit cold but not too much wind, and no rain, so really an ideal day for it! TFTC
A quick find today whilst out caching in the area. 28 finds in total including this one, found in good condition. Tftc
Interesting spot. I’ve just come from a cache at Palmer Cemetery, and clearly lots of Germans settled down here on the flat too. TFTC.

Owner maintenance is now organised for the first 2 weeks of January 2019. Sorry for delay.
Here I found meself in a quiet hamlet.
The few remaining structures hint at a livelier past for this location
But the only balls happening here near the hall,
are the tumbleweeds blowing down the main street !!

Hi there Aussie M & M.
We found your cache **"Fields of Summer"** today. (This makes our find count 21883).
Today we headed out from Murray Bridge so we could attempt the "OTD March"series, plus any others we came across on our travels. We started at 31.3 & from there we proceeded to log caches up to 1.3 before heading back to camp. On our way back we followed a "next closest" sort of route so we could find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.
We found 48 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:**
###The cache is UV damaged and very brittle. It really needs some owner TLC.###
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Hi there Aussie M & M,
RE: Your cache **"Fields of Summer"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is UV damaged and very brittle. It really needs some owner TLC.
We would have liked to replace/maintain the cache but we were really unprepared today and had nothing to replace it with.
Regards
Ian & Penny

I joined up with Aussie Mary to find a few caches this afternoon. Despite there being a forcast of rain, we were able to stay quite dry while out on the hunt.

TFTC, spent a fabulous weekend at Mannum after our daughters played netball here! Leaving a trinket in every cache. This place is STUNNING!
We are staying in Murray Bridge with friends and decided to head out today to do some caching. We enjoyed the variety of hides and lovely scenery in some of the caches we went to. The Murray River is looking magnificent. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice placement and great coords. Thanks to postiegirl06 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
The objective of today was to complete the March OTD series, however Mrs Gizmo decided to take the less-travelled roads to get there, so that we could visit a few "out of the way" caches that have been on her to-do list for a while.
What a hidden gem! Mrs Gizmo has a vague recollection of attending this church once or twice as a child.
Thanks for the memories postiegirl06

We came to the area to spend some time clearing those pesky green boxes that never seem to get turned into a smile due to them being a little out of thee way.
The object that protects the cache from the elements has taken quite a hit in yesterdays wind storm but the cache is OK and still can be retrieved easily. Hopefully it will not disappear if any one does a clean up here. SL TFTC

What a neat well kept set of buildings. Such pride is to be commended. Thanks
Today I was on a big caching adventure with my friend Gral4, caching between Balhannah to Mannum. By the end of the day I had 103 and only 1 , a great day!
The fields were barren today - just tilled brown earth.

Enjoyed the back country roads and the reminder of the past being out here brings.
The fields didn't look like fields of summer today but then we got it!
Spent a really enjoyable day with Ismartis doing 102 finds, (my first tonne), only had one DNF and placed one.

After a week at the block in Sedan, it was time to head home. Nothing like towing a 3 tonne van on these back roads. TFTC.
Out and about exploring with my Bestie and we came across this place we had never seen before. On a backroad of course!
I checked the co-ords after the cache was placed and they were spot on!
Love ya work here!.
Thanks

Out with Aussie M&M and Locuscache for a day of caching and frivolity. This was an unexpected gem of a location. Owl was left to find the cache, as Locuscache played tourist and Mrs M was left in charge of the car. Thanks for bringing them here.
Aussie M & M and Doctor Owl decided that a day caching in Harry was too much for them and so we headed out in Aussie M & M's car. We made our way through some back roads and over to Murray Bridge where we met CP wanderer for lunch
Then back to drop Aussie M & M off.
Doctor Owl and I then headed out in Harry, armed with Aussie M & M's magical geo tool as theirs is taller than mine
We arrived back at Aussie M & M's at 5pm...as directed by Doctor Owl
Have to love a day of no DNFs and 28 caches found

Nice temple. I wonder which deity we are sacrificing virgins to here?

Out and about getting the 4x4 dusty and dirty just cos I wanted to spend the arvo cleaning it when I got home... Wonder what time Freddo did this 11:24am I was there..
Was out seeking old buildings and beautiful fields.. Plenty of them but the skies were to clear for my liking and the wind was picking up dust and it was too hazy to take good shots..
Thanks for the cache Postiegirl06

Out and about caching on our seventh wedding anniversary today, enjoying a nice warm sunny day.
Being a Sunday morning, the venue over the road was in full swing, and there was quite a turnout! We parked the Navara strategically, and made a quick find and sign without alerting a soul.
Thanks postiegirl06.

I was going to a meeting in Mannum. I invited the_xtrailers to come along for company & caching.
Very cool church. Does it still hold services?? It looks quite well maintained. Thanks for placing the cache here, postiegirl, to allow us to find another great piece of history.

Wow! We approached this from the east and it was great to see the buildings from the front as we drove closer .
