A plan was hatched quite a while ago when the Dunedin Mega was announced to come over to the South Island again.I have only been to New Zealand twice before and I loved the South Island. So a chance to come back for a Mega was a no brainer for me.Everything was booked and I flew in last Saturday after a bit of a delay. So now in Invercargill for a couple of days and today so going to be a few caches and Ad Labs.So Day 12 started off with a bit of rain and a bitterly cold wind but a walk through the gardens will hopefully warm me up.Cache was soon located and signed. Thanks southlandicebergs TFTC.

When I was a child and it was discovered that i needed glasses, my mother used to say "I would need a white walking cane" as every 6 months I had to get new glasses. Luckily although I can't do a lot without my glasses that hasn't happened yet. Well worth a fav point for the memories. Found with Found with Mr & Mrs VDH56 on a trip to Invercargill.
Didn't have my pen with me bit of a muggle zone but good to get one in Invercargill

Day 13 of an awesome trip around the South Island for myself and RG1972, and we are heading from Invercargill to Alexandra. First port of call was a cache or two back in Bluff, then we checked out the impressive Queen’s Park before heading off to lunch at a cafe in Gore (via a drive-by the Edendale tulip fields).
A few solved puzzle caches around the river in Gore before heading off to Alexandra, with just a short stop in Roxburgh.
A good day, great weather, and we threw in the Adventure lab in Queen’s Park too. Thanks to all Southland (and some Otago) COs as we leave this nice area.

Back on the mainland & we are on the downhill stretch of our South Island roadie. On the agenda today was travelling from Invers to Gore, then on to Alexandra for the night. We made a small detour to Edendale, so I could see the fields of flowering Tulips ⚘ A highlight for me An adventure lab in the beautiful Queens Park & a delicious lunch at the Rustic Cafe & Restaurant in Gore were also highlights of our travels today.
A quick find here for us

I certainly needed a white stick to check on this one. During week noticed that a lot of plant growth in the garden where cache was had been trimmed. Checked today and as I suspected the gardeners had citoed it. So what this space for updated clue if needed when cache a different container this time is positioned.
Last day in the deep south before we head back to Dunedin and then home to the Waikato. It's been a great holiday down here with 7 muggle friends, and this morning my hubbie and I got up early and walked nearly 10,000 steps around Queen's Park to claim many caches and the Adventure Lab Cache. What a blast it was in the dark - a great adventure, and we enjoyed this spot, TFTC
Container gone. The garden had been pruned to ground level. Which would have exposed it to muggle cachers. Soon to be repositioned in a different place. Clue change as well as coords.
