Sadly I will will be archiving this cache due to the heavy storm damage. The area is unrecognizable. I will attempt to find and retrieve the cache container in the next week to avoid littering, however it is unlikely I will find, as I could barely find it when the tree were upright. Goodbye guilty Gunks 2, it was a fun 6 years.
Area have been smashed by the storm. Unrecognisable. Will review location in a few weeks.
Traditional thinking will not find this geo, very simple however very well camouflaged. Log is damp & beginning to deteriorate. Awesome accessible cache, kids will love this one if they don't give up quickly. Tftc
Found by two members of he iTEEM prior to the younger heading to school. A pleasant stroll from the nearby carpark. A brief time wandering in circles before locating the camo bauble.

Hi there Gunks,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this cache - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks for you cooperation,

Cache didn’t need attention it it there and in good condition. What a ridiculous way to call for maintenance!
Have no clue and the compass keeps changing coordinates defeated Jasper and Clint
In the area and needed a cache for my streak. This was a little tricky, probably because I took the hint to literally. Eventually spotted this hide. Nice one! TFTC
To clever for me today... although I will admit to being a bit tired, hungry and impatient!
Slowly continuing with this series. Second time looking for the Decoration. Seasons Greetings everyone. Thanks Gunks
Loved the camo on this one. Quick find. Lovely evening to get out of the house. TFTC
Quick and easy find after working a few jobs in lilydale for the day. Thanks for the easy find. All looks to be in good order.

A bit of spare time so I set out to finally turn a sad face into a smiley. So glad it was here this time.
Cheers Gunks

Second time lucky . I was so close last time if it had teeth it would have bitten me. TFTC
I was swooped by Magpies and got bitten by a rouge bull ant and to ad insult to injury I could not find the hide . I will try again.
As I live nearby, DaD0n and I decided to go for a walk to find this one.
Took some searching as it was just after dusk and torches were our tool of preference.
Eventually looked the right way and there it was.
Great hide. TFTC

Out this afternoon collecting some caches along Swansea Road in the gloomy conditions. A quick find here once my GPS settled down, TFTC!
Some free style caching by stealth bike today chasing random caches. An object was distracting me and it took several minutes here. Thanks to Gunks for the placement and fun.
Found on 31 Mar 2019 at 2:33 pm.
The weather was absolutely terrible yesterday and not much better today. Constant showers but I headed out anyway for a few hours. The good thing about the cold and showers ... no muggles made for pretty uninterrupted searches pretty much everywhere. That made up for the bad weather.
I parked in the nearby car park to do the next 3 along this trail before the rain then got too steady and annoying so I then headed back home.
I spent a few minutes looking for this one and then moved on to come back to it later. 5 minutes later I was back and spotted it straight away. Geez, how did I not see that the first time. It often works though, walk away and come back and magic happens.
Thanks Gunks for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This was a nice easy one. No attacking grass seeds, Hooray! Had to convince the kids to keep going to this one as we had to walk past the car. Their screens seem to be calling them home. All the more reason to keep going.
Deck the halls with boughs of holly!
I am so glad this wasn't in a pine tree!
After a fruitless search with the S5 I fired up the Etrex10.
Manually plugging in the coordinates and the cache was found within a minute.
Happy I had the foresight to bring it along.
Thanks for decorating my profile with yet another smiley face Gunks.

Took me a little longer than I'd like to admit, Bison tubes always allude me

I have been past the series of caches here so many times and have never stopped before. It was time to rectify this. I was wandering around in circles trying to find it. As others have said it really was staring me in the face. TFTC
looking around awhile at GZ and starting to get that feeling , will I find It . Then my eye caught something . Thanks Gunks
From the logs I figured what I was looking for but the silly thing remained hudden
Really. Wouldn't you know it you post your dnf turn around and what's staring at you saying how could you not see me. Tftc
Ah. She found it. While worry about snakes after the last cache - we found it.
Tftc. Bit of wilding with the man on a rare mutual day off. Quick find, on to the next.
After getting caught in the storm last night we were back tonight. It took some looking around in the trees before we found it.
Thinking a wee detour Enroute to Harrietville would be a great start to the journey. Wetlands seem to be well cared for and loved by the locals. TFTC and the wetlands!

On about my 4th visit this time with the cache owner who was doing some nearby maintenance. Would have thought it would be easy but was still a struggle. As usual once found you couldn't miss it. Unlike usual if you turned away it vanished again. Good one Gunks TFTC
I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.
With Cup day off it didn't take much thought as to what I should do. Loaded the bike into the car and headed into the hills.
#4 and the soggy ground made for slow progress on my bike, a lot of slipping and sliding. Once at GZ I knew what to look for but took a while. GPS was 8m out for me.
Thanks for the cache

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Pretty sure I knew what I was looking for, the problem was GPS was 10m off the target. Needs a new log as it is full. Thanks for the series along the creek Gunks, lots of fun.
Found this cache VERY quickly and easily as geodad and I were searching at dusk and the reflection from my torch gave it away. Very enjoyable TFTC
Out and about for the day with Echidna44. Thought we would clear out some in the east. We parked in a picnic area and decided that this was a part of our walk for the day. Had us looking for quite a while. Thought we knew what we were looking for but its all about the angle. Of course when you spot it you wonder how you missed it. Thanks for the cache
Out with xambo4u, we circled round and round searching for this, widening the area, until at last we found the right angle. Thanks Gunks
Found with pprass today. He had previously dnf'd this one and after several minutes searchin it was looking as if it was going to be another one. Then we spotted the little blighter.
Found at 12:41:05 PM GAFF5 in the company of Alansee.
I was last here in December and had a lot of trouble locating this cache and today was no different. Went around and around for a while until Alan finds it right at GZ. The container was a standard bison tube, but I thought it was going to be camouflaged based on the hint.
Thanks Gunks
Feedback: Deserves a higher Difficulty rating.

As always with these sort of caches, finding the right angle of viewing makes it easy. I was fortunate to not have to spend too long here.
