We stayed at nearby Tamit Station View campground and had our mandatory COVID test and breakfast in Robinvale, and were on our way to Echuca. To break up the journey, we thought we would do a little caching along the way. The area looks like it would be a great place to camp, and several campers were in the area. We made our way to this cache as we are looking for unloved, and this one had a nice amount. We found the decoy quite quickly (noted that it was signed), and then we looked for around half an hour, and then with some photos taken of spots, we couldn't easily see we realised we would need a particular TOTT. Fortunately, we had such a TOTT in the Geomobile and were able to access the cache. The cache is in excellent condition and safely back where we found it. Thank you for this cache Sparra0907. An FP for us as it is a well-themed cache, and we got to use our new TOTT.
Would be near impossible after rain. Not really a 2wd cache either.
Nice spot though.
Found during our COVID 2020 Murray River trip. While Melbourne was in a state of turmoil rural Victoria was still okay, and with 4 weeks leave, and all the borders closed we decided the only warmish place in Vic was going to be as north as we could get. After a decade or so travelling north and west we started on the trips we'd left til later - the Murray River. Starting from East Gippsland we got to Wemen out of Robinvale before they announced Victoria was going back into Stage 3. Now we're working our way back home and avoiding Melbourne. Found this along the way. TFTC. DJ

We have made an 6 week road trip trough Australia en did some caching just for fun. We could log some and some we couldn’t! But we enjoyed the views and surroundings. Al thanks for placing the caches.
Suscoe was out today enjoying another gloriously sunny Swan Hill day.
It had been near to zero overnight but today made up for that with beautiful sunshine, no wind to worry us and blue skies from one horizon to the other.
We headed to the north of Swan Hill today taking in Nyah and Tooleybuc and many places in between.
Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide, we found our way in and soon located the hide.
All good today.

Having spent the night in Mildura while following the speedway solo champs, I left this morning on my journey to Undera for the next round. Found this as I was heading towards Along the Murray Valley Hwy. I met a family of geocachers who were enjoying the river. tftc.
TFTC. We were on a run to find caches we had bypassed when we moved camp from Tooleybuc to Nyah. We found our way in, found the decoy and then found the Golden Perch.. Great location. Pity the river is flowing so fast, no point in wetting the line.
There was something a little fishy about this cache! Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
On tour from Wentworth to Barham and back to Melbourne.

While exploring new territory today, we learnt more about the Mallee and its history, called at some interesting townships and of course looked for a number of the many caches hidden in the area.
We enjoy being near the river, this little catch was a bonus today.
Thanks 'Sparra0907' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We have commenced Part 2 of our holiday. Part 1 was Easter at Morisset and we came home to sort out some family business. Now we are heading back to Bendigo after some time in South Australia.
After a comfortable night camping in the Piangal rest area we headed off caching around Tooleybuc and towards Nyah. Cute cache.

Was here on a venture scout working bee camp. Had case the area in the morning on a break. Returned in arvo with pen and friend. Just love the murray and the gums
With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 4. Last day and along drive home via Balranald. Only a few caches for today and a few too many DNFs.
Thanks.

15,198. Found during a long weekend run down through the Lockhart, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moulamien, Tooleybuc and Nyah regions with Albida33.
After camping down by the river last night, we packed up and continued along our planned caching trail. This was the next find for the day. After searching one item we moved on to another for then a quick find. Fun recovery ! Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !

Adelaide Trip September 2017. Day 11. The last day of my trip took me from the Murray River to Canberra via Toolybuc, Hay and Wagga. The day started well with a few fun bush hides, then I started getting DNF after DNF. I had to give up and head onwards.
Thanks.

Found by Mary & David at 1535. Took a while to find the way in, and the tracks are still very muddy in places. We don't like churning up these local tracks, so we had to wend our way carefully to avoid the muddy parts. Enjoyed the walk for the final 100m or so. Beautiful river views and magnificent trees. The container gave us a laugh, and you get a FP for all the facts and figures. Our thanks to Sparra0907.
I totally missed the decoy, but did land the Golden Perch. Walking over here from the scout camp I went past a Golden Perch tracking station. There were no trackables in this guy today, but I threw him back anyway. He had gone on unloved for too long, so now he's good again and will go into my unloved cache register.
This was find #400 for me and is in one of my favourite parts of our grand country. I love celebrating milestones with memorable caches. Thanks Sparra0907.

Nice stroll along the river bank and got foiled by the carp.
Had me stumped how to catch the perch but eventually laid my hands on him. Nice location TFTC

Four days to spend caching is cool but what was even cooler was that Moneydork and Tounga allowed me to tag along too as they headed for Victoria Sadly, geobrother couldn't make this trip so with just us three the car was much quieter than normal
Day 1 today as we drove to Shepparton and there were 3 DNFs and 33 finds all up prior to our reaching the hotel aout 11pm. [)]
This was fun! Geomum found something but it wasn't the cache
So geodad drove the car up close and personal to catch the best Golden Perch we have seen in a long time
Geomum did the honours of retrieval and she must be part monkey

There was no clear path and l didn't feel like bush bashing in the sun today. Maybe another time.
4434 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1000 on our way further north to central Australia. With the showers that the district has had there was some muddy areas along the track in. Went for a walk to find that the river traverses as a horseshoe here. Had some difficulty making the perch work here. SL Tnx Sparra0907
This was a great cache. Found the decoy first then pretty soon we had that golden perch in our hands. TFTC.
I discovered a far better way to reach GZ than driving as close as I could
Park the geomobile at the picinic area in towne, and stroll the 500 odd metres to GZ
Nice and relaxing in the early morning !
At GZ there was the sight of the swiftly flowing Murray close at hand
From me perch I could have fallen in if I did not watch me step [:o]
Speaking of perch, I found the one that layed the golden roe a few minutes after first finding the 'Carp" that was hidden nearby to distract me

WOW!!!!! FTF
Not the ideal day for geocaching.
Track was a wee bit slippery, but Da Roo Mobile made it with ease
Having signed log it was time to get out of there before the heavy rain starts
Great spot and cache Sparra. Thank you
