I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Cache currently away being maintained as the logbook had got wet. Improved version with new logbook back soon
Nice evening walk through the wetlands. Unfortunately though not surprisingly, the inside of the cache has also become a bit of a swampy marsh. I was able to sign the log but it could use a bit of a drying.
Nice little trail. Had a look where the troll hides (always a favourite) the actually followed the hint and the geotrail. TFTC.
The walkways are good but having recently seen 2 people sink to thighs I am very cautious going off track to what looks solid. TFTC
On a road trip to Cambridge and enjoying new places that I haven't visited before. Nice walk down here and didn't take long to notice the hint item. Glad ground is quite dry - cache all good but log needs replacing TFTC
1st time I've been down here. Easy find thanks to hint. Not too boggy here today. Ttc. Log falling apart
A nice meander in my old teenager stomping ground when there were no houses. The sand gully and bog that was here was great fun for my horse , goat, dog and myself. We spent many happy hours here.
Thanks for the cache. Have left a wee bit of colour for a junior catcher to find. Log is a wee bit damp and worse for wear and needs attention. Thank

8.30am. A morning to spare on a visit to Hamilton so a few caches to search for. A lot of water underfoot here but I managed to avoid most of it. The coords were a bit out but after a false start I soon spotted the right place.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
A wee bit of searching off the boardwalk was required. But re-reading the hint helped
Was having trouble finding a suitable place to drop off a trackable. This is the closest for me. Left Dog Tag 8B3QXX I love NZ - Travel Bug Dog Tag.
Tftc been in Cambridge many times and never done this walk - what a delight!! Logbook was quite wet
Definitely thought this one was harder than it was. No need to go through thorns. Thanks. Signing was rushed sure to mosquitoes so sorry if it's hard to read.
Well, wish we had known that bush bashing wasn't necessary. Haha. GPS was off so we were looking in the wrong area. Tftc
Our family hadn't been geocaching for a while and this was a nice little hunt. Thanks!
The start of Cambridge caches for the day. A short walk to stretch the muscles after a three hour drive and a helpful hint soon had the cache located. tftc
Went down the wrong trail first, but eventually found it.
Also: BLING!
The travelling fox is happy =^,^=

Followed the instructions and stopped at the way point then wondered down the path. The clue had me going straight to the cache site
It started off a bit gllomy this morning so decided to visit friend and new baby - oh not there - well time for caching. This was just down the road in an unfamiliar area so was good to be introduced to new walkways. Hint soon had me finding the cache. Thanks for the placement theboswelss1.
Good co.ords took straight to this nice tidy cache...nice quiet shady place and good hide tftc
A fairly swampy area but thankfully the location of the cache is nice and dry underfoot. A lovely short stroll to and from GZ. We dropped a TB here for the next finder, TFTC!
Found this one on the way back to Hamilton via the back roads. No problem with the find. Used to use the nearby BMX track as a younger lad with mates. Kinda get the feeling maybe I signed the date as the 8th? not sure. It was definitely the 10th I found it.
TFTC theboswells1, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 finds of 2 today, making this find #1542

No worries here, parked at one of the suggested points and enjoyed our short stroll to GZ. TFTC
boardwalks are there for a reason, never keen on getting off them, but i did for this cache, biggest problem, being vertically challenged, was getting back onto the boardwalk, there is no TB as listed in the cache, tftc
In Cambridge for the day with our cycle group to look at the Velodrome and do the Te Awa River ride. Very impressive. Enjoyed the opportunity to grab a few smileys afterwards as well. Great day out.
Nice easy find, thanks to the good clue. Cache all good. Nice swag. TFTC.

Thought we might have to walk through the swamp for this one but luckily it's in a dry area. New boardwalk is great. Tftc.
We've been saving our last local one for one of our last dot days ever and today was the day! We'd done this track a few years ago but it's nice to be here on the new, less boggy boardwalk! A nice meander, and the cache easily found. TFTC!
Managed to pick a day after a period of wind so the ground wasn't to boggy today.
On our Winter trip through the central North Island. Rotorua, Taupo and the surrounding area are favourite destinations. Travelling back to Auckland getting a few caches on the way. Nice town green belt . Tftc
A quick walk to gz stood on boardwalk and looked around. spotted a likely tree and bingo found the cache. Day one of a 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
1921 Initially followed a trail but this was not a geotrail. Back to main walkway to make a quick find after that. Took TB
Boy OH boy, swampy here today after the rain, but managed to find a dry path to what I was after. Tftc.
Wandering around this part of town waiting for an appointment so thought I'd meander down here & grab this cache while here. Was a bit worried when I saw the boggy ground, coz I was dressed for a fairly formal meeting, definitely not for caching, but managed to find a dry route to the cache thankfully. Nice straightforward find. Nice to finally sign this one off, tftc
I had to go to my sisters to pick up my kayak so I decided I would finish the Karapiro & Leamington caches.
This was 5 of 5 planned for today. Collected NZPatoto to be my decoy and keep watch for muggles.
Still wearing gumboots and off on a little walk. Lucky I had the gumboots as with the rain that’s been over the last week it was very wet and quite boggy. Once tree found was a quick find and was back on track before muggle turned up with two dogs. TFTC

Nice easy find. Good excuse to come and explore a new part of the neighbourhood
Was in town today and now that the Leamington walkway has reopened decided to find this cache. The boardwalk is looking good. Didn't take much time to find using the hint. SL. TFTC.
This is going to be a great walk once the boardwalk is finished. Phone gps played up a bit but thanks to the hint we spotted the right place to look. Tftc.
A great walkway. Very swampy but cache is dry and fine. Boardwalk is still under construction but sure that the cache will be fine in its spot. TFTC
Been a bit of a slow start to the year, time for another road trip!
Cache is still there and should be okay where it is even with the boardwalk being installed. TFTC

The Boardwalk is near the end of major construction. We made our way through the site regardless, but came to a stop by a very swampy and unstable walkway. Didnt manage to find but am interested to know if the cache is still there after such construction!! To be continued!
this was an interesting one
we decided not to take any notice of the large orange netting and big yellow sign telling us to go another way and made our way down to this cache
the walkway was under construction and almost took us to the cache location - ALMOST lol
alittle balancing later and we were in the right place and the hint took us straight there
we balanced our way out of there

#209. Beautiful Cambridge day climbing into the 30's. Called in to do this on the way back from a nearby Art Studio. Quick find for the clued-up. Tftc.
I knew of this location from the Cambridge fun run a few years ago - but lovely to have a reason to return. Tftc.
Lovely little swampy walkway! Bit overgrown as not used a lot but definitely worth doing! Easy find
A nice easy find to show my sister how geocaching works. Thank you. It has been many years since I have done this boardwalk - it has changed quite a lot.
Good hide, take a pen/pencil with you as the one there is broken and log book is getting very wet.
Quite a strangle place this, as I was walking towards GZ I wondered when I would find the wooden boardwalk but then it's right there out of nowhere.
Cache found quickly and in good condition.

Interesting place this. Does not look like it is used much. Thought I might have got wet feet but just stayed dry. Found cache without a problem. Thanks very much theboswells1
Pleasant detour while heading south for the day.
Can see how kids would love exploring down here.

One of us grew up in Leamington, and spent some time exploring this gully as a child.

A new area for me, thanks for bringing me here. Wandered on down taking in the sights. Not too sure about that bridge but there is a cache to be found so I braved up and went across. A quick find thanks.
A little early for a meeting, what to go, a short bush walk was in order, been here before years go for another cache, thanks for bringing me back.
Had a dot day today, but also lots of other things happening, so, as we have no close to home caches left, this was it. A good move as I scooted out here from Melville at 7am, found the cache without even getting my phone out, then had a walk around Leamington. Gathered a bit of CITO, so went to the shops to drop it in the bin, then back to where I had parked off Lamb St and home for breakfast and work. Much better than getting stuck in traffic for a cache on the far north side of town!
Use to ride my pony in this area so good to see it has a nice walk. Also spent many hours at the local motocross with husband & son. Great spot. TFTC
Fathers Day 2015 - an absolute perfect day to be out caching.
My wife was visiting her good friend who had recently had her first child - so not particularly keen to stay for all that I took the opportunity to grab Andrew on his first fathers day and take him geocaching! GPS was giving us a little grief on this one but we soon had the cache in hand.
Cheers the boswells1

Heading home from a long weekend away and decided that finding a few caches was on the cards. It was a great idea and we saw some pretty cool spots, though there were a few downsides. One being that we had to overtake the same slow trucks again and again, and two it added another 4 hours to the trip. Oh well it was worth it. Thanks to everyone who's caches we found.
Wasn't sure weather I was going to stop to get this one or not as it was a race against the light. Managed to get here with 30mins to spare before the sun went down, and was relived that the cache was a little over 100m from where the car was parked. A quick jog down to the cache and a small search revealed the cache. Thanks for the placement.

Plans were made to head to White Island this weekend with Cats&Dragons but weather forecasted some gale warnings and the operator cancelled on us twice. Being already down in Hamilton we decided for Sunday to make a full day out to collect 50 smiles. And that’s what we indeed did. .
Beside the weather warning it turned out to be a great day with a lot of laughter and awesome company. Signed the logs as "ACDC" \m/. Last find of the day on our way back to Hamilton. TFTC

After what had been a full week and the disappointment of not heading to White Island on Saturday and then it being once again cancelled late last night Alpenmilch80 and I decieded to head over this way and see what we could find before possibly making it back to the event in Rotorua later in the day.
After the disappointment of not going away this could not have been a nicer day to spend caching with a very good friend.
Following the nearby event we thought to grab a last few caches before heading for home. Our last find for this trip. Today we signed most of the caches as "ACDC".
Thanks for the cache and the fun contained therein

Nice easy find. Make sure your looking on the right side of the bridge.TFTC.
First find of the day once we had the correct location and having to avoid the muggles.

Dot Day... My fourth consecutive dot to fill... With Gap (of Fap and Gap).
Nightfall descended before we arrived, so it was out with the headlamps. We descended into the gully quickly and came out onto what appeared to be an old boardwalk. We had no idea this was here, so were quite pleased to visit somewhere new. It was a pity we came so late, but darkness wasn't an obstacle to finding this one. TFTC.

5.55pm - Our headlights on and a easy down hill walk soon had cache with good hint given. SLTFTC
Out and finding a few specific caches towards a challenge we are working on. Pleasant walk although a little chilly this morning and a few branches down after the storm TFTC.
Saw this come up the other night but it was way too cold to go out!
130m from home so after a quick walk soon had GC in hand.
There are a lot of native plantings in this wet land so hopefully over the next few years it will become a nicer place to walk through.

Yay. My first FTF! Cold and frosty, crisp and blue. Shame I lost a boot in the bog while searching...
