Unlike the first cache, found this one very quickly. Lovely area, nice outlook. TFTC.
I needed to drive out to Langwarren today for an appointment so I took the opportunity to come early, drive a bit further and take *A Walk With Nature*... hopefully without too many mozzies as company. By the time I got here it was verging on rain so that kept most... but not all... of the mozzies away as I went for my stroll. Unlike my efforts at the first cache in this series that I looked for, this was a nice and quick find. Thanks **PsychoVanjie** for this cache.
A tribute run. Looking for any surviving caches that were placed by McSee&Petal.R.I.P. Doug.
Looks like some people couldn't hang on and decided to use this area as a toilet. Luckily we didn't have to hang about too long with a quick find.
After a recent event at another cache on the trail we weren’t taking any chances. In case someone had it in for the whole series we approached very, very carefully.
Normally as geocachers we are almost trained to put our hands into places without question or worry, but once things go wrong you double check everything.
Instead of just grabbing the cache we took our time and used our noses to make sure the coast was clear. We then opened the cache very, very carefully to make sure nothing was going to jump out at us or stain our clothes and hands. tftc

Quick find with geo-kids whilst battling the mozzie horde.
It was a nice gloomy day to enjoy another part of westernport.

I'm not sure if the muggles near GZ were actually catching anything fish wise their wasn't much water in the lake. They paid me no attention, so off I went to find this cache.
Nice one!! Had us looking for a minute or 2. And I found my pen, so we signed this one
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to PsychoVanjie for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Out and about with pimpmyballoons for my mothers day geo day out to achieve my 10,000th. Having walked in beautiful bushland and have come to the waterfront. The reflections are amazing. Having taken a moment to enjoy the views we ventured in and found the hiding spot. Replaced the container with new log book for others to discover this space. Thanks for the wonderful walking space PsycholVanjie
Out on a mother's Day adventure with xambo4u
We had noticed this one had plenty of DNF in the past. Had contacted cache owner to check if we were able to replace if needed.
Could not find but did locate the perfect location for the cache to be.
Have replaced cache. New log book. All good to go.
Please replace in the same position.

Looked for quite a while but could not find this one today alot of rubbish about GZ.
Another cache that needs some TLC...this area is full of junk and quite dangerous...suggest you relocate cache to a more safer place nearby, there are other great hides to possibly use.
It's the 13th of March 2022 and I decided on the geocaching loop for today. When we pulled up here I new immediately we had been here before. Emandel pulled up his phone and yep we had done the entire loop. Darn! So I'm logging those caches very late.
Another great day out with My friends Skipair who picked Me up from home for a day out caching, we picked this area for today's fun and to clean a few unfound caches off the map.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels .An enjoyable walk but some really frustrating hides, so many places to put a nice size cache in this area but these were all micros in the bush.
Logs signed as RASP
Thanks PsychoVanjie for the cache.

Mrs Ski got a bit distracted by a phone call for our daughter. Dan had just announced another lockdown to hopefully prevent a long stage 3 battle with COVID. During the previous two lockdowns we had their whole family living with us so they could manage working from home, remote schooling and child minding for the 3 year old. After a long discussion it was decided to take the chance that all would be under control within the 5 day lockdown period, so back to caching. Rebel and Mr Ski had wandered off to do this series during the phone conversation, so Mrs Ski proceeded to the end of the track, looked for a couple herself and waited for the lads to finish the loop.
Not our favourite type of hide, but with one exception managed to grab all the smilie faces.TFTC and the series.

After getting my shoe sucked off by the marsh mud and some bush bashing, we found it!
Enabled because its safe to find, but hope people are sanitising before touching anything.
We wanted somewhere for a small walk and collect some geocaches. I had been saving this area for just an occurance. A nice family outing for a few hours.
I found this one while the family investigated the muddy shore. Then I joined them for a play on mud. Couldn't see any crabs or cabbies, but lots of fresh holes in the mud.
Thanks for the cache McSee & Petal (Adopted by KnoAngel)

Today we tackled this trail finding a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had muggle troubles here last time (2 years ago).
No one around today so it was a quick find.

Found it , After having no success at #1 it was a joy to find this one quickly. Log signed and moving on.
Finally!! After 4 DNFs I thought I was never going to get a break. Clearly I need to sort my phone out as the GPS must need calibrating or something as I can't seem to find any caches at GZ. A job to do when I get home I reckon.
Thankfully this one did not allude me. Was happy to finally get one under my belt. TFTC

Found with Earle1. We came in from opposite directions so was a quick find. Tftc
Exploring Blind Bight and Warneet today, we hoped that we could get all 11 in this series. Nothing worse than having to come back for one or two DNFs. Good news for us, we did fund them all. Apologies for the generic logs, but will make a note of unique things as needed.

With 3 million geocaches on the planet, we've chosen yours to find. You should be thanking us!

Found and put the log back in the canister as it had been left on the ground or muggled
We targeted this area a few weeks back for caching, but the day we picked was very rainy. Every time we got out of the car it rained, so after doing one cache nearby we went to lunch and then drove home. So today was take two.
Micros in the bush are usually pretty tough – so I promised middle child that I’d pay him 2$ for every cache he found – by the end of this trail I was $6 down – and we had 2 DNFs and one DNT (did not try, for fear of snakes).
It was a beautiful day for caching – not too hot and not cold.
This reserve was just the ticket for the family today – the kids really enjoyed the trail – for the first time in a long time no whinging from the kids! We enjoyed the sandy tracks, the nice bush and the mangrove mud flats and varied hides. The kids were very happy to see some crabs along the journey.
Thanks for bringing us here mcsee&petal /Dvaynanjl and for maintaining these caches – we really enjoyed our Walk with Nature today. We will be back another time to try and get the ones we missed today.

Out and about around Tooradin, amongst the coastal villages and vast seas of vegetables.
We actually had a ride with nature - listening to bird calls as we made our way around this interesting reserve, via a variety of caches. Had to retrace our steps here to get the right angle.
Thanks to 'Dvynanjl' for adopting and caring for this bushland series.

On my way down to Tooradin for a little walk around the nature reserve I thought I'd also stop by and collect one of the C.F. puzzles seeing as how geoart does seem to have a use by date and can suddenly be archived with little in the way of warning.
The puzzle collected it was onto the nature reserve for a short walk and some caches. Most were found , a couple eluded me in the time I had available and one was found but not logged because I had no idea as to whether I'd be able to rethread the body back onto the cap.

Let the kids drive the show this time after walking them roughly to the spot. they made a quick find, and had a lot of fun doing it. thanks for the cache!
Finally got one after three DNF nice easy grab. It’s funny which ones stick out and which don’t!
Found at 1845 on a caching stroll to work off Christmas leftovers and to help SirJ achieve 1000 finds for the year. I pipped SirJ at the post at this one, but it mostly came down to which approach we each took. The stretch of nearby water made we wish I'd brought the fishing rod - but then again knowing my luck with fishing, I had more chance finding the caches then catching a fish!
Sorry Dvynanjl, I only realised that you've adopted this series from mcsee&petal - consider this a general 'thanks for the cache' to cover all the ones I've already logged!

Find #4061. Found @ 18:45 with AmethystPig
My self-appointed challenge for the year is to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that, but I'm catching up. To get me closer, AmethystPig and I went to walk with nature in Warneet. 12 to go.
We speculated where the cache would be hidden on the approach to GZ and made several incorrect attempts, before naming an item that was correct, but not the one that we originally thought.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Dvynanjl

This one took two attempts, as the first one was from the wrong side and the obvious hiding place was empty.
After approaching from the correct side, it wasn't even hidden...
Thanks for bringing me here

Found on a nice sunny winter morning. Thanks for bringing us to this pleasant reserve for a nature walk. TFTC
Well here we are. I decided to do this walk with the dog as Warneet is one of my best loved areas. Been planning this for quite some time, and today is the day.
Funny things were happening with my GPSr. Waypoints disappearing, then returning, but we zig zagged through the reserve and enjoyed ourselves. We had several visits from a couple of Mastiff dogs who were enjoying a frolic in the park. They were friendly and just having fun. Thanks very much for hiding this series of caches. I have enjoyed it immensely.
Please excuse the generic log.

Headed out for the daily walk with nature and what better series than this. Left the geo-loppy parked at one end of this series and wandered along the trail admiring the flora. The GPSr was directing me off the trail but it had me in the wrong spot. After moving around and approaching from a different direction, I spied the cache just waiting for my name to be added. Nice spot and great hide. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams.
Apologies for the generic logs, but unless something needs attention they will do.
Petal and I visited the caches we adopted out before moving last year, as we can now log them as we no longer have any connection to them. The caches now are under the careful watch of my geobuddy and are in good hands for others to find.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the caches - we loved them. lol

Once we found the right path into gz geowife quickly spot the cache.
We have the entire reserve to ourselves this afternoon.

I've never really known how I wanted to tackle this series.
In the first few months of publication I was going to go with my sister but time got away from us and she ended up moving to Western Australia to work up in the Pilbara.
The next thing was, up until now I haven't got more than 6 or 7 caches in a day. I was pretty sentimental with my number and statistics for a period but it would still play on my mind whether I wanted to get all 11 or not in one go.
The third main thing was the snake population- I kept putting it off in the summer.
Well today I finally made a decision. With the whole series being less than 5km from home as the crow flies, they have become my rainy day cache stash. The one statistic that I really keep an eye on these days is my slump streak- which I don't want to get over 20 days without a find again.
With weeks and months like these, a nice amount of caches close to home, they might just play a part in keeping my slump streak from not growing. (That's if I can find the buggers!!)(Hence why I'm logging #2 not #1!!))
Thanks for the cache mcsee&petal/Dvynanjl

Well, the little one was up for a big day of caching. Unfortunately, we might have set our sights too high. We had big plans to find the whole series today, but we were woefully unprepared, in that it was just the two of us, and we had no mossie repellant! Anyway, managed to grab this one, but after a brief search for #3, little one had had enough, so we went home. Thanks for bringing us out this way anyway!
Found it! A bit scratchy getting to GZ. Quick find which is good 'cause the mosquitoes attack on mass when you stand too still! TFTC SL
Unfortunately this is the only one we found due to toddler tantrums but it was a great cache. We will definitely be back to find the rest.
Did not find. Or more accurately, did not attempt. A group of fishermuggles were here and I really didn't want to go searching for something amongst their gear and try to explain what a geocache is. If we find ourselves back in the area we might dip in and give this another attempt.
Out and about enjoying some winter sunshine and finding some caches today. We've been meaning to do this series for a while.
Nice to get back to the water views.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Nice little water view here, arrived in time to see the tide coming in and water rising.
Mozzies around this park are pretty shocking so didn't want to spend too much time in the scrub looking around, quickly found the cache and moved on.
TFTC , Cheers.

#5 for the day, feeling a bit tired now and really hoping we could find this one without fearing bumps, scratches or hair pulling (its not the wildlife to be afraid of its the plants and trees) I saw a track leading into the bush and was weary off the trip wire (see previous posts). I saw something that said 'Im over here'. I trusted my instincts and found the cache quickly. Another expert log roll and job done. Not sure if we should head back to the car or keep going... such a nice day keep going.
When we got down to the lake part, we shouted - or rather I shouted - warnings about how I had only just washed all of their shoes and hey better not lark about in the mud. Seems my strict warning tell on deaf ears, as after Little miss vivid came and waved a dead crab at us, and little master rusty crooned to a dead fish which he had declared as being "cute", we looked over at eldest vivid who happily announced he was in quicksand, and a quick assessment showed he was submerged by about 6 inches. His newly washed shoes were completely covered by gloopy sandy mud - or is that muddy sand?
I admit I got rather exasperated. I pulled him out but he left his shoes behind and walked cheerily over the sand (which had yielded so many lovely dead things) and left me to dig out the shoes. It took a while and made my hands smell.
He had to beat the sand out of the shoes and just put them on as I had no contingency plan for a twelve year old who decides to see how far he can sink into mud. (Or is that how far he can push his mother ? )
It's a good job the cache here was a quick and easy find. It's a shame I got my shoelace caught in a wire fence and went sprawling in an ungainly way, soon after followed by mrs R who almost did the exact same thing.
As we stomped our way through the grass to GZ, VR managed to get her shoelace firmly caught in some low-lying barbed wire fencing. She was't breaking free from it very easily, so I thought I might have to do a full-blown rescue and cut her free before she was eaten alive by the wildlife out here. However, there wasn't much chance of the wildlife getting too feral because it was all dead. The kids were excitedly calling out all the dead things they'd found on the beach and one of the mini Vivids even brought a nice big specimen for us to have a close look at.
Once on the beach, I inspected the dead crab and dead toadfish, before being startled back to reality by my eldest coming up to me saying that the eldest Vivid was stuck up to his shins in mud. I glanced towards the stationary figure of the eldest Vivid, looking rather nervous about what his mother would say when she noticed his freshly washed white shoes were 30cm deep down in the mud and his white socks were now a lovely shade of brown. Ive never seen a mother keep her cool as well as VR does. She was seething on the inside but she was so serenely calm on the outside!
Despite the mud and dead things, we enjoyed this beach. It was so pretty. Pics attached....

Despite the tough going with training wheels on the track leading to this cache. It was definitely one of the highlights with changes in scenery from bush to the water edge here. The kids were beginning to get a little restless but the water soon changed their attitudes. I'm glad they didn't want to go in or there would have been tantrums again. The three younger kids stay by the edge of the water throwing stones while eighthknox, my eldest, and me headed to GZ After circling the shrubs I spotted the hide pretty quickly. The kids didn't want to leave the waters edge but after the promise of an ice cream, once we finished, the bike were soon rolling again. TFTC

We had spotted water again and the kids enjoyed hanging out by the edge with the large gulls hovering. nanton34, chanton and I hit the shrubs and eventually laid eyes on the prize. tftc
