I needed to drive out to Langwarren today for an appointment so I took the opportunity to come early, drive a bit further and take *A Walk With Nature*... hopefully without too many mozzies as company. By the time I got here it was verging on rain so that kept most... but not all... of the mozzies away as I went for my stroll. Argh!!! This one took me so looong to find!!! Once at GZ... and with the aid of the Hint... I knew what I was looking for... a type of hide I dislike (sorry about that). I spent ages wandering around trying all sorts of directions and approaches. With time slipping away I eventually decided that this one was going to be a *Sad Face* for me today... turning to leave, there is was... about a foot in front of my face!!! So frustrating... but happily, no longer a *Sad Face* today!!!Thanks **PsychoVanjie** for this cache.
A tribute run. Looking for any surviving caches that were placed by McSee&Petal.R.I.P. Doug.
Man there’s some prickly shrubs near this one. Might come back with some tougher pants for better look. Lots of mozzies. Bring some spray
It is extremely likely this cache is still there but after a life changing event at the last one we were tip-toeing amongst the tulips making sure we didn’t step in anything. Thanks anyway
GPS was out instinct, eventually prevailed once my eyes focused. This cache shouldn't have taken me as long as it did to find.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to PsychoVanjie for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

I dropped by this reserve to fix the blue smilies on my map. After a long search, I found the cache hanging in its hide. The cache is all good, and no problems with the logbook. Thanks!
Well this was hard find. Was here for quite awhile. Excellent spot. ️️ thanks again
Out and about with pimpmyballoons for my mothers day geo day out to achieve my 10,000th. Enjoying our walk through this beautiful bushland, this piece of nature really stood out for us so we checked it out. Took a while but finally spied the nicely placed containter. Log book fell apart. Replaced with new one. Thanks for the wonderful walking space PsycholVanjie
Out for a mother's Day adventure with xambo4u
Expected this one to be difficult and we're not disappointed. One of those ones you just need to be on the right angle. If it's a hot day, take a break in the shade.
Log was dry but just fell apart so we have replaced logbook so it is all perfect and good to go again.

Lovely day to be out caching. This one took a bit but was soonin hand. TFTC
Another frustrating DNF for me. I looked in several different places but kept coming back to the place where I thought it was but still no luck.
This one took a little while and sitting in the shade and reflecting and looking
Spent way too long here and prickled to death! Moved over to another area still couldn't find.
It's the 13th of March 2022 and I decided on the geocaching loop for today. When we pulled up here I new immediately we had been here before. Emandel pulled up his phone and yep we had done the entire loop. Darn! So I'm logging those caches very late.
Mrs Ski got a bit distracted by a phone call for our daughter. Dan had just announced another lockdown to hopefully prevent a long stage 3 battle with COVID. During the previous two lockdowns we had their whole family living with us so they could manage working from home, remote schooling and child minding for the 3 year old. After a long discussion it was decided to take the chance that all would be under control within the 5 day lockdown period, so back to caching. Rebel and Mr Ski had wandered off to do this series during the phone conversation, so Mrs Ski proceeded to the end of the track, looked for a couple herself and waited for the lads to finish the loop.
Not our favourite type of hide, but with one exception managed to grab all the smilie faces.TFTC and the series.

Another great day out with My friends Skipair who picked Me up from home for a day out caching, we picked this area for today's fun and to clean a few unfound caches off the map.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels. An enjoyable walk but some really frustrating hides, so many places to put a nice size cache in this area but these were all micros in the bush.
Logs signed as RASP
Thanks PsychoVanjie for the cache.

Found it , found this sneaky little fellow this time. Log was unfortunately too wet to sign. Tftc
Enabled because its safe to find, but hope people are sanitising before touching anything.
We wanted somewhere for a small walk and collect some geocaches. I had been saving this area for just an occurance.
We walked past this one with no one looking at the GPS. Then Walked back any investigate the obvious hide. After a minute search I saw the geocache and then 999HK saw it.
Thanks for the cache McSee & Petal (Adopted by KnoAngel)

Oooh no, after another long search no good. Maybe it's just not my day today. I will return.
Felt like I was pretty close with this one, but just couldn't get cache in hand. Will return again when the weather is a little nicer!

Back today to find the last 2 caches in this series after finding the rest some time ago.
I remember having difficulty even trying to search for this one because of the constant walkers that would pass and eventually just gave up in the end.
This time the search was uninterrupted and still took some time to locate it.
TFTC, and into the last.

Exploring Blind Bight and Warneet today, we hoped that we could get all 11 in this series. Nothing worse than having to come back for one or two DNFs. Good news for us, we did fund them all. Apologies for the generic logs, but will make a note of unique things as needed.
This one took a lot longer than it should have. GZ seemed obvious but the GPS had other ideas and took us to the right. Carefully searching and patience is needed, but rewards are for the persistent.

With 3 million geocaches on the planet, we've chosen yours to find. You should be thanking us!

We targeted this area a few weeks back for caching, but the day we picked was very rainy. Every time we got out of the car it rained, so after doing one cache nearby we went to lunch and then drove home. So today was take two.
Micros in the bush are usually pretty tough – so I promised middle child that I’d pay him 2$ for every cache he found – by the end of this trail I was $6 down – and we had 2 DNFs and one DNT (did not try, for fear of snakes).
It was a beautiful day for caching – not too hot and not cold.
This reserve was just the ticket for the family today – the kids really enjoyed the trail – for the first time in a long time no whinging from the kids! We enjoyed the sandy tracks, the nice bush and the mangrove mud flats and varied hides. The kids were very happy to see some crabs along the journey.
Thanks for bringing us here mcsee&petal /Dvaynanjl and for maintaining these caches – we really enjoyed our Walk with Nature today. We will be back another time to try and get the ones we missed today.
This was a tricky one!
Well luckily despite there being no toilets in this reserve, I did not need to spend a penny! But I did have to spend 2$ , as Will, the middle child, found this one!
Somewhere around here, we spotted the remains of an old car. I wonder what it was - perhaps a Valiant?

Out and about around Tooradin, amongst the coastal villages and vast seas of vegetables.
We actually had a ride with nature - listening to bird calls as we made our way around this interesting reserve, via a variety of caches. Seemed to take forever, perfect cammo! Coordinates today had us 4m SE of the GZ.
Thanks to 'Dvynanjl' for adopting and caring for this bushland series.

On my way down to Tooradin for a little walk around the nature reserve I thought I'd also stop by and collect one of the C.F. puzzles seeing as how geoart does seem to have a use by date and can suddenly be archived with little in the way of warning.
The puzzle collected it was onto the nature reserve for a short walk and some caches. Most were found , a couple eluded me in the time I had available and one was found but not logged because I had no idea as to whether I'd be able to rethread the body back onto the cap.

A good challenge for us! we got to the place pretty quickly and after scratching around in the prickles a bit we read the clue and refocused our efforts nearby.
We very nearly gave up, and had spotted it a few times without knowing it. Chutzpah mum then happened upon it right as we were about to give up!
this was a really good cache and a fun find. thanks!

Found at 1840 on a Boxing Day stroll around The Warneet Nature Reserve with SirJ-Oz. This one took some searching, but eventually I managed to spot the hide. Thanks mcsee&petal.
Find #4060. Found @ 18:38 with AmethystPig
My self-appointed challenge for the year is to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that, but I'm catching up. To get me closer, AmethystPig and I went to walk with nature in Warneet. 13 to go.
This one took a while to find. The satellites wanted me to get prickled, and so I got prickled. I noticed something that would make more sense, so we concentrated our searching around that, and it was AmethystPig that made the find... Hmmm, I'm starting to detect a pattern from the last couple of finds. I'd better lift my game.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Dvynanjl

Staying with family across the road again and popped out for a walk.
This is still here where I found it some years ago

GPSr was struggling to give us a good location here and a lengthy search did not produce results.
Took a while but eventually with a bit of reach and a few injuries, log was signed
Well here we are. I decided to do this walk with the dog as Warneet is one of my best loved areas. Been planning this for quite some time, and today is the day.
Funny things were happening with my GPSr. Waypoints disappearing, then returning, but we zig zagged through the reserve and enjoyed ourselves. We had several visits from a couple of Mastiff dogs who were enjoying a frolic in the park. They were friendly and just having fun. Thanks very much for hiding this series of caches. I have enjoyed it immensely.
Please excuse the generic log.

Headed out for the daily walk with nature and what better series than this. Left the geo-loppy parked at one end of this series and wandered along the trail admiring the flora. Search the obvious but nothing stood out so I expanded the search but still nothing so started reading a few past logs for clues. While I was engrossed reading the logs, I was approached by some muggle mutts and their owners also out enjoying the walk. Once they moved on I resumed the search but I had already broken the max 10 minute search rule. Justifying it by the interruption, I gave it one last look when a very familiar silhouette appeared in a place I had already looked several times. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams.
Apologies for the generic logs, but unless something needs attention they will do.
Petal and I visited the caches we adopted out before moving last year, as we can now log them as we no longer have any connection to them. The caches now are under the careful watch of my geobuddy and are in good hands for others to find.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the caches - we loved them. lol

Lucky this one had a hint or we'd probably still be searching.
Such a lovely quite area, perfect for a relaxing labour day walk.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Again getting very close with nature and enduring prickles and branches and even cobwebs. Looked and looked and eventually looked at another spot, and there it was. TFTC mcsee&petal and Dvynanjl for maintaining it.

HALLELUJAH!!! THE MOZZIE/ENRAGING CACHE PURGE IS OVER!!! Finally, after 30 minutes of hot and MOZZIE infused caching, we found it! We initially fired up the PAF hotline in hopes that the CO could help us, but we looked and looked and looked and eventually found it. Well done on possibly the most devious hide I've ever found. Oh yeah, and hasta la vista mosquitoes!

Found it! I looked in a couple of places as GPSr was a bit all over the place but eventually spotted it where I thought it would be. TFTC SL
I've looked for this one at least four times with no luck. I decided this was deserving of a PAF hint. Luckily I had previous CO in phone so I gave it a try. He very obligingly gave us a hint that enabled us to find it within seconds. How I missed it before I don't know! Maybe I just didn't quite look far enough out. Anyway it's been a good challenge. TFTC
We spent a while here looking around, getting dirty, prickles, and generally not having a happy time. In the end it wasn't worth it and we decided to move on and try again another day. Thanks anyway mcsee&petal.
Out and about enjoying some winter sunshine and finding some caches today. We've been meaning to do this series for a while.
We nearly gave up, one last look where we started looking came up with the goods. Great camo.
Thanks for the extra effort placing this cache.

I chose a warm and sunny winters morning for this trail, and was determined to find this one as last time was not good. Felt like I had my head in the clouds but then I found it! Clever hide. Thankyou kindly
Ready for #6 and hoping to find this one easily, we were very disappointed. I started by bobbing under a branch and all of a sudden I scream help! The damn tree was trying to rip my hair out. Stuck until help arrived - my hero! I took a dislike to this hide now, it was personal. Well we traipsed all over the place, no need to mow here, luckily nothing for the wildlife to eat here anyway. We searched for 20 mins. We know it was found not long ago, but to be honest I was ready to go home. So we called it a day and headed back, but after a few minutes (almost back to the car) I realised Ive dropped my reading glasses back where we were. Oh bugger... back again... Searching for another 5 mins and luckily I saw them; hubby had just walked over them a minute before. Huge relief. We're going home after our 1 1/2 hr adventure.
Thankyou so much McSee & Petal for a great day out. 4/6 isnt bad, and we will be back again to find the rest.

With one child covered in mud to the knees, and five more who were getting very restless, we searched round and round in circles, in amongst prickles. Little miss vivid got an amazing amount of them caught in her hair- it took a while, gripping them with a hair slide (because they hurt to hold on to) to pull them all out.
After a while, and a lot more circling, and a few more prickles in my own hair, and some roo-poo-on-a-shoe we had to seek help, and then we found the tricky thing. In fairness it was exactly what we set out to find, but a couple of logs led us to believe we were looking for something else. We swallowed our shame with a lolly, and moved along.
Gosh! How long did we spend here? Over half an hour....easily!
The funny thing was that we were looking for this style of hide to begin with. After a good search in a wide area we read some logs and decided that we were looking for the wrong thing. A new idea of what we were looking for was formulated. But that idea turned up nothing either. We really had no idea what to look for next...or where to look for it....so a message was sent to the CO. The hide was found a minute later in a place that we'd scanned numerous times.

We arrived at this one beginning to feel a little tired and with our GPS failing to give us a clear reading I found myself searching about 20 metres from GZ reading previous longs it was clear we should not expect a quick find but after agreeing that our GPS accuracy was not right eighthknox backtracked and with a bit of luck spotted the tricky little hide. This really should heave been one of the toughest hides of the series and really for all but a lucky glance we would probably still be there now! Given the kids minds were now only focused on ice cream I hate to think what would have happened had this taken any longer TFTC

We found this one after 5-10 minutes and were enormously thankful we did as this could have taken us a substantial amount of time given its position and the GPS refusing to settle. On the home stretch now. tftc
If I couldn't find it in a few minutes I moved on. Mozzies are not your friend here
Accompanied with kangas11 for caching day
I can't believe that Mosquitos keep annoyed us because today it's winter season. GGRR
All caches are good condition.
Some of them sneaky hide
Found it
Thanks mcsee&petal

Spent a long time trying to find this one - the cloud cover really played havok with the GPSr adding that extra bit of spice to the hunt.
After spending more time than we had searching we gave up and continued on our way.
Will come back for revenge at a later date.

My second attempt at this wasn't successful, although we had to cut our search short due to a threatening thunderstorm which unleashed its fury just as we got back to the car. Will have to try this cache again some time.
Got it this time little blighter. Tftc

I was out and about caching today with Kiwideb down Tooradin way. We looked long and hard for this one. We were about to give up, but decided to look for a few minutes more. This time I spotted it in a place I'd checked before, but didn't see it from the right angle. We were most relieved to have found it.
My thanks to mcsee&petal for the cache.

Unfortunately after a long search this cache seemed to still elude us. Plus the fact that we were being eaten alive, we'll attempt this another time. ~ Brainiac03
We looked hard and endured prickles on wrong entry point. Will come back another time.Tyftc
