Have a feeling this has gone missing. We reached and climbed but it just didn’t want to be found today.
Log was soaked so just took a photo. Difficult to find if you’re vertically challenged.
We were a bit short for this one but the two of us got there in the end. Log was very wet and unable to be signed. Photo instead. TFTC
Drove all the way round before finding the entrance. Teach us to trust the GPSr! A short walk once it was found to GZ where a cursory inspection didn’t reveal much. A stretch and the the cache was ours.
Log very wet. We just managed to get a faint name on it.
Our first full day in Dubbo started slowly as we took some time to relax and catch up, but inevitably we headed out to do some sightseeing and of course caching. It was a marvellous day with clear skies and little wind. The sun on our backs felt wonderful, the day being as good as it actually looked.
We finished a few puzzles we had solved in advance and came across a few good hides as well as some good sized caches.
Thank you to the local COs for their efforts in hiding and maintaining the caches.

Out for a drive with Just a cacher and decided to grab this as we passed by.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Quick find with Black Bunny.
Cache in good condition. No swaps. The dogs weren't allowed in.

Found with the Quipollites. It was on the ground, but we put it back where we thought it was meant to go.
Found at 12:08:00 PM
In Dubbo for the show and while that was going on I went caching. This one was sitting on the side of the tree in a slight depression in plain sight. I moved it slightly higher and slight less (but still) obvious
Thanks Bourkebornandbred

Always like the peace and history of these places. Found with MummyPenny after a day at the show. Thanks Bourkebornandbred.

I looked for this one quite a while ago but it was missing. I was happy to revisit GZ and turn this into a yellow smiley.
There are always lots of secrets in these cemeteries and this remains one of them for us.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
We do love a cemetery cache. This one did not disappoint.
Thanks Bourkebornandbred

StrangeTrousers had his hand on this first found with GeoSnag1 on a wonderful weekend in Dubbo
I’ve put in a replacement geocache today on the 08/02/2021, I’m petty sure I’ve put it in the correct location. Owner will need to double check to make sure.

No luck here. Have found it a while ago on a different account. Happy to replace it and put a new one in.
Had a look around but didn't locate this one. Didn't want to poke around the graves and thought we had exhausted the other spots.
Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment Bourkebornandbred
I do like cemeteries, but it's always sad to see the graves of tiny babies. Nice Camo

Always a solemn journey through a cemetery but so many interesting things to read also. A quick find as we drive around Dubbo and the surrounding area today, with Sophiescout. TFTC
One of my favourite past times when travelling is to visit the old, monumental cemetries. So much history and stories is within these stones. Thankyou.
The CoOrds were pointing us in the right direction... Sometimes you look straight past the Obvious

#2145 First of eight quick finds on my drive back to Sydney after a few days in Dubbo. TFTC
We spent a night in Dubbo on our drive from Canberra to Brisbane. Before leaving this morning, we decided to come this way and collect a Geocache . It is nice to have a smiley on the map to show that we have been here.
Thanks

A couple of days in Dubbo, luckily we had caching to do as it was horrendous at the caravan park. Now at Hair of the Dog Inn, Balimore, pushing on towards Mudgee, hopefully we will pick up a few.
