As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Searched poles, electrical boxes, gazebos and under lookout without success. W/golden_ tree
Had a quick look around and couldn't find it. Judging by the amount of DNF-s, I assume it's not here anymore.
No luck this afternoon with this one, we searched the gz thoroughly but came up empty handed. We broadened our search area and still had no luck.
**# 14745** Found on our extended 2016 winter escape trek.
A cool cloudy spring day for a drive around in Dubbo again.
Not many muggles around here today.
Thanks for the cache Bourkebornandbred,

Found by Mary & David at 1412. After being on the opposite side of the river and marvelling at the signs of the recent flood waters (flattened grass, debris high in the trees, and large parts of the bank collapsed and gone), we drove round to the correct place. Great facilities here. Found the cache ok after a brief search. Our thanks to Bourkebornandbred.
Found on daily walk. As soon as I saw where it was pointed, I knew where to look. Log extra full. Squeezed my name in. TFTC.
Finally found it on our second attempt. First attempt Council was holding a Bike Safety event with BBQ. Got offered a sausage sandwich and gave up! Back again to ensure we found it!
We had to wait for some muggles to move on before we could find and retrieve this cache. We only just managed to squeeze our name on the log sheet but it really needs replacing urgently. Thank you for placing this in an area with nice views and picnic tables and seats, which was good as we had lunch there.
Found while visiting Uncle Fozz. Found lying on the ground though so owner may want to check positioning, log is pretty full.

Miserable day means no one around to see me find the cache.
Coords are good so didn't take long to find, admired the view whilst signing the log and on my way again.
TFTC Cheers.

Taking the family for a walk, really enjoyed the views here. Few muggles about, hope I was stealthy enough not to draw attention to myself! Was pretty sure I knew where it could be not long after arriving, soon had cache in hand, signed the log and returned. Used muggle husband as a bit of a shield when I returned it. TFTC.
Have cruised by this one a few times but there were always too many muggles in the vicinity to have a look - not the case today!

Prior to leaving Dubbo this morning we decided to do 2 caches in Dubbo to show friend what geocaching is all about. Found cache. TFTC
Having a morning out caching near Narromine as part of our two week road trip from Canberra to Tweed Heads. Many interesting caches found, some we are still looking for and a greater appreciation of our vast country. Thanks to all the COs - you have brought us to some very interesting places!
Beaut spot.
Had this park all to myself for lunch.

Hi there Bourkebornandbred. We found your cache "River Views" at 8:15:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11706.

Today was another nice day for 'caching on our visit to Dubbo.. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 9 caches (and DNFing 5).
Please excuse our boilerplate log. It's not really a good excuse, but it's really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found at 1:34 PM GAFF3.
Completely missed it on the first pass - must learn how to concentrate better in the sun light [B)]
Just a few muggles having lunch nearby who just looked over to see what I was doing.
Thanks Bourkebornandbred.

Took a while to find as it was not at GZ but found it on the ground
behind a tree about 20m away. Placed it back were I think it should be.
Thanks.

That was so easy we are suprised it hasn't been muggled. TFTC. Just down from the cravan park which made it easy to get to.
I was back in Dubbo again today !!
I seem to be an annual visiitor !!
Possibly because it is one of the crossroads of Australia.
A lot of new caches have sprouted around towne since my last visit [^]
Enough to entice me to stay a day or two.
And so I headed down to the river to view the view again.
A muggle couple were inhabiting the picinic shelter close to GZ.
I hopped out of the geomobile and wandered over,
fingers crossed that the cache would not be where they were sitting [:o]
Phew !!
Just far enough away.
And while they were looking the other way,
I managed to find the cache

Whilst killing time waiting for the zoo to open we did a couple of caches. This was our third. TFTC. Cache was covered in bird poo to add to the camo! eatmorchikin from Brisbane
This is our 2nd day in Dubbo. So many new caches since we were here last.
Todays outing was like a tiki tour heading around many of the towns top spots. We had my 85 year old mother come along with us for an outing.
I have often walked along the river bank when visiting Dubbo.
Thanks for placing this cache Bourkebornandbred

For sum reason we were looking in all the wrong areas. Once they were eliminated i suggested sumthing and the cache was found. Facepalm moment, that was so easy. Tftc
