It's been some time since I found a cache by the CO responsible for introducing me to this hobby/obsession.
Today I finally had a few minutes to swing off the highway to search out these caches that I've wanted to find for a while.
Knowing the type of hide the CO is renowned for, I thought this would be a quicker find than it was. I had a preconceived notion of the hide and it's placement, but although I was right about the hide, I looked in all the wrong places.
Another clever camo job here, and a lovely view too.

As I pulled up the car near gz, I just and reflected. The views are gorgeous and with not a soul around, I could just be…. Except there was a cache to find! Thankfully as I walked to gz, I just happen to look at the right angle and cache was quickly retrieved. What a craft little cache! Thanks for maintaining this cache.

Thanks for the Excellently disguised Cache BonnyBlack, When I saw that it was a Micro and I saw the location, I was sure I was destined to fail, Micros are my Achilles Heel. After a concerted search and dodging some muggles (including Old Macdonald Muggle), I was convinced I was to fail yet again. After expanding my search area I seemed to refocus my eyes and it appeared like one of those 3D puzzles. I will come back when it is a clearer day so I can appreciate the view.

I have performed some maintenance and returned this cache to its original position.
Took a bit to find.
However after reading previous 2 logs, where the finders reported "found on the ground and replaced as found", we changed our approach.
Mr Riddell found it immediately and we replaced in the nearby tree using the hanger provided.
It was a bit damp. So that will help to keep it dry to.
TFTC with great camo!

A lovely area to explore. At first we spent a good 15 mins searching and nothing was showing up. We decided to try the other cache down the road. On the return and after reading some previous logs we had another go. This time it was discovered within a minute, but lying in the grass on the ground. The log was very damp but managed to sign it. I replaced as found. This one may need checking on as not sure if it has some cache creep over time.
Thanks for the cache.

A great cache, although it was on the ground and log sheet quite wet, put back in place. Great camouflage my sons loved it. Thankyou for the hide. Lovely area.
In a past incarnation, this artefact had been easily found and logged. Unfortunately my current form see's me unable to repeat the earlier performance and no mark can be left today.
I was probably not expecting something quite as sneaky as this! Nice one. The cows were freaking me out. Are they friendly? The views are lovely from here.
I left early this Sunday morning for a caching run. It was still dark with the gorgeous full moon thinking about setting and the pre-dawn light show thinking about starting. The only thing that spoilt this lovely start to the morning was the thickening fog.
Took some time for my GPS to settle here, but was able to watch the sun rise, just popping itself over the hill.
Started the search and discovered something pretty quickly at the 4th tree. Obtaining the outer container, a large black spider jumped out onto me. But brushing it off, I was soon able to get to the log file.
Thanks for the cache Bonny Black

On my third visit here today, I brought along Mrs CV and Crusty K9 to help with the search.
Well, that was the plan, but they headed off for a walk, enjoying the beautiful views, leaving me to battle on alone. After quite some time, and I am on very friendly terms with the fence now, I still couldn't locate the little devil.
After stopping for lunch, and reading heaps of previous logs, I picked up a couple of clues and finally decided to leave the fence alone and, after extending my search again, I finally found it about 8 M from where the GPS said it should be.
So now I'm a happy chappy, with the frown turned into a smile.
Thanks BB. This was a very clever hide and we really enjoyed the views. A fav point from me.

With the lifting of restrictions, Ilukaperi and I once again teamed up just like the old days. She had been exercising regularly through the lock down, whilst I had done 3 short walks in the 9 weeks off and had spent most of my time drinking wine. And it showed, I was knackered by the end of the day while she still wanted to go night caching.
The main aim of the day was to finish off the caches that we hadn't found in Warramate Reserve, so we headed that way as it is just within both of our 25 k zones.
Last one for the day. Its always nice to turn a frown upside down.
I had DNFd this one previously, by obviously underestimating the complexitity of the hide.
I brought along my Good Luck charm this time (Ilukaperi) and today, after a short hunt around I was able to spot the very cleverly hidden cache. Nice job - another FAV point!

Freezing day in the valley, while we waited on the plumbers call we thought let’s nab the last few local caches. With the hubby hobbling on an ankle hurt from the lure of a first to find on Friday, we were rugged up and looking for adventure. Thanks for the cache, lovely view.
Rain hail and shine we will find something !! And my gosh was it raining hard !!! Had a great chat to some new born baby cows!! Such a great hide very well hidden and great view !!! TFTC !!

Suscoe was enjoying the drive along this road.
We stopped off near GZ and searched for a while and then the clever hide was spotted.
Thanks to BonnyBlack for this hide, this is an area that we have never been to before and we were enjoying the countryside.
Time to head a bit further along the roads.

Missed the car park on the way down here (was there a park?) so ended up driving to the end and U-turning. Finding this cache proved to be troublesome. I was relying on the GPSr and it kept putting me in one particular location and I just couldn't spot anything. So I grabbed the phone from the car, read a few logs, and thankfully this put me in a slightly more favourable location. Still it took a couple of minutes to spot the container.
Thanks BonnyBlack for the placement and little challege

After the fireworks of the night in Pakenham it was a late start to the day however Sharon used the hint and nailed it very quickly, maybe I am just good at showing how caching works.
Yes cache all good,
Thanks to BonnyBlack for the cache, it seems Sharon knows all the property owners around here.

No luck for me here either. Must admit I didn't look as long as I usually might have, given the string of DNFs before me.
Too good for me today BBlack. Will have to return with fresh caching eyes in the future.
Great spot. Very well done with the camouflage and it is definitely not on the ground.

Emeylo and I missed out on finding the treasure on Mt Little Joe today. But the important thing was that we had a wonderful adventure working through the multitude of waypoints all over the mountainside. It is true what they say... That it's the journey that matters, rather than the destination.
As we headed homewards from Warburton, I was made to feel very uncomfortable when a tailgater latched onto my slipstream in a highly pressured and unsafe fashion. I'm never going to indulge such behaviour, so I turned off the road at the first opportunity - and the tailgater followed me! So I turned off into another smaller road, but fortunately I wasn't tailed this time. I lost him.
Where was I?
I looked at the map and immediately noted a cache nearby - win!!
It was late in the evening. The sun was blinding as it sank low in the western sky. The elevated position here saw the fields still awash with golden rays. It was a lovely scene.
Emeylo decided to stay in the car this time, while I searched. From the other side of the road, I noticed that she had moved to the driver's seat and was passionately practicing her singing and dancing while pretending to drive. Yes, I think my work as a role model is developing nicely!!
As for my own task, I was happy to find this clever, well crafted cache. This happiness was slightly offset by the scare I received at the hands of the cache guardian - but I don't think Emeylo noticed, lol.
Thanks so much for this unplanned fun, BonnyBlack. It was nice to finally get our first smiley of the day.

Such great views from this spot we nearly forgot why we were here. Oh yes, looking for a cache and a very clever camouflaged cache at that.
Thank you BonnyBlack for bringing us to this lovely area.

Found with +Wife and our muggle mate, Pam.
A slight detour on the way back from swimming in Yarra Junction today.
After driving here from More Farmlands with the windows open, the aroma of eau-de-roo was cleared away.
A short search and then the hint was consulted, almost poked my eye out!
Awesome camo and spectacular views, BonnyBlack. Added to our list of favourites.

Clever cache with a fantastic view. It may inspire me to other caches to build. Thanks for bringing us here.
I'd originally intended to look for this cache back on 11 June, but true to its name a farmer and his young son were working directly opposite GZ, so thinking I'd try again later I moved on and found various other hides (including More Farmlands), but farmer and son were still working here when I returned a second and third time over a period of several hours, so I vowed to return another day.
Today turned out to be that day. With partner and kids horse-riding in Yellingbo I set off in the relentless hammering rain, thinking it would probably mean a wet but hopefully uninterrupted search.
Happily my arrival at GZ coincided with a brief break in the rain, and so having parked opposite I started looking. My GPSr was incredibly shifty here though, and I found myself poking around over a fairly broad area with no success, until I decided to put it away and just rely on geosenses.
That turned out to be the right approach, and on spotting something that might possibly be just the tiniest bit out of the ordinary I looked closer and realised I'd found it - a lovely bit of camo work!
Signed the log, thanks for the cache, BonnyBlack.

I was heading out to Woori Yallock today to pick up from fruit trees from a fruit tree nursery out there. Before I left home I typed the address into my geocaching app and, low & behold, there were two caches in the same road as the nursery!! Love that. I pulled up opposite this cache during a fleeting moment of sunshine. Towards the west I could see that this patch of blue sky was not going to last long so I got to work. After posing as a photographer while a few cars passed by I set about looking for the cache. It was not long before I spotted something amiss and had the cache in hand. Great container and camo, which made me smile. Thanks for your effort on this placement.
Very cute , but was a quick stop as the kids were fascinated (and hysterics) by the bulls bit and piece that he kept showing us, so time to move on.
Find #1218. Wow what a view! The beautiful cows looked on as we found this. This is a clever cache. Thanks BonnyBlack for the scenic cache.
Fifth one for today top hide got idea with the camo thanks for the sweet hide top spot too
What a great cache .. Think the wind got this one though as we found it in the ground
We found this cache today at 12:35pm as number 6 of 7 on our Round Route to Worri Yallock Tour. We had never been caching before on this road, so it was great to travel along this ridge today for the pretty views. Nice camo too as we overlooked it first time past. Thanks from D, HA & H B-A.
Sometimes you just gotta love a quick drive by Camo job was great and such a gorgeous road, was nice to have the excuse to meander along it - thanks
Took a couple of looks to find this one, but a slight lack.of camp on the bottom gave the cache away. TFTC.
A well constructed, nice little hide with great views over the surrounding area, worth a fave from me for that very reason, thanks BonnyBlack for the cache and for bringing us out this way.

Last weekend in Melbourne before I head back to QLD for Christmas, thought I may as well grab a few caches instead of wasting the entire day in bed!!
This one was located quickly, no muggles out here!! Everything in tact.

Found with pprass who was in town, it was good to be back in my old stomping ground doing a few caches, these country caches are far more enjoyable that city caches, we had a great day touring the area. Thanks BonnyBlack for the cache.
Found at 1:14 PM GAFF5 in the company of Rebel Acts.
Lovely rolling hills and a beautiful scenery. It is much appreciated driving through these back roads to find these lovely locations
Thanks BonnyBlack.

Out and about tonight with GrumpyGramps1 picking up a few stragglers in the area. After a lovely warm day it got surprisingly chilly tonight. As usual I was the most bait, bloody things ate me alive again. More smiley faces as I try to find 1000 cache in this calendar year. Around 100 to go. TFTC
On a beautiful day and trip around the hills OzHockeyChick and I decided to peg this one off the list and so we drove to the location and stepped out the car to the views of a century.....Beautiful area and wow factor is awesome considering you just stepped out of a car and a tar road under foot.
The effort gone into this cache container is spot on and very worth the drive and hunt for a well hidden very clever cache....Good job mate....Fav from me !!!

This one took me way longer than it should have Love the cammo Tftc a fav for me
I pulled up near gz, and after enjoying the very peaceful view for a few minutes, I got down to thw reason that brought me here. The gps was not much help, so I searched back and forth for several minutes before spotting the hide, even then I wasn't sure I had found it until I had it in my hand. A very clever hide, and well executed, definitely gets a favourite point from me. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Clever hide when the GPS disregards the trees ..... AND ....... when I'M looking in the right place!!!!!!!! THANKS BB
Motor bike ride around the hills took me to this unknown road. Great camouflage and location BonnyBlack, gets a favorite from me, also what a great road to ride the motorbike on.

Found it! This cache and it partner up the road are easily the closest current caches to our country palace, so we were really disappointed when they got published while we were both down in Knox. As a result it was a couple of days before Mark assisted by Geokid 1 could get to the GZ and of course, they had both been well and truly found by then. Both worth the trip for the view, so glad i get to look at out of the kitchen window. TFTC
Second to find!!!! Mum found this one clever and very sneaky and very windy
Drive past here all the time great view

With so much to do today it seemed nothing could take my attention away from candy crush. Except the notification of a published cache. When i saw this was 1.5 k away candy crush was literally tossed aside. Like a madwoman i hopped in my racecar and found GZ. What a cute little cache, love the effort. Beautiful views. I have lived in this town my whole life (43) and never stopped to look around. Thanks for bringing me here.
