Still waiting on the river to subside a little (AGAIN) before I can replace this one.
**# 14756** Found on our extended 2016 winter escape trek.
A cool cloudy spring day for a drive around in Dubbo again.
Not any muggles around here today and lots of water flowing.
*The cache is in need of maintenance, and log is very damp.*
Thanks for the cache No_Tomorrow,

Found by Mary & David, in company with Roostaman and DiMorgan, at 1553. There were signs warning of the erosion along the river bank following the recent flood, so we proceeded with caution. Great views, and a fairly quick find. Only the lid of the original container remains, and the log is wet, but we managed to make our mark. Our thanks to No_Tomorrow.
Aaaaand once again the area is flooded (see photo of Seriesier Bridge about to go under) and The pathway hasn't been opened again as yet. Please do not archive yet. I can't control the weather or council. It shall return, maybe with slightly altered coordinates.
Do not attempt at this point in time. Flooding in the area and river bank may be unstable. Cache will be re-enabled once checked after flooding recedes.
Thanks for your patience.

Found at 4:38 PM GAFF1 in the company of &others.
Last cache for the day before heading back to camp to get ready to go out for dinner. A nice walk that we have done before many years ago, but then were disappointed at GZ. Nice looking spot with the fast flowing river below, but it is full of Farmers Friends and the cache when we finally found it was just rubbish.
Thanks No_Tomorrow.

Got attacked by farmers friends and bindi's. My soles are now covered in spikey biz. Tftc. There is no geo - just a lid in a bag and logsheet. Tfth
I'll be doing some maintenance on a number of my geocaches over the next couple of weeks. Sorry for its disrepair.
Time for our daily cache on the way back from the zoo, along the cycle way. Think we took the long way around to this one! TFTC
Beautiful view of the river here. Looked around a bit for the cache at gz with no luck and eventually decided to expand search and investigate what I thought was a lost or discarded item out in the open - turns out this was the cache. It contained a lid, a log book and a small trinket but nothing else, not sure if it has been muggled or just blew out of hiding. I have replaced it as best I could but CO may need to check it.

Out caching today with DiMorgan, a nice walk in along the riverbank. The black ants attacked me.
Thanks No_Tomorrow

Today we cached in the Dubbo area, with us was team Tracystone & an 85 year old muggle Grandmother.
Today we toured the countryside ending up along the riverbank back in town.
A nice little walk along the river bank, seems like they are preparing to extend the footpath along here.
Left a TB to continue its journey.
Thanks for placing this cache No_Tomorrow

Nice easy find while in dubbo for xmas, got to see the locals at their swimming hole. A great view from gz. Could not think of any piffles to write , thanks for the cache.
Out caching this morning with To5hy and a muggle friend. This was a quick find down by the river. To5hy left my favourite pen in the cache, a nice little one that fits in my wallet. To my surprise he went back by himself later in the afternoon and got it for me. How nice. LOL. TFTC.
Piffle - our definition - the stories most of us geocachers tell others about what we had to do to get "that " cache.
We wandered down the road to stay away from the gums trees on the way but could not avoid them at GZ. We thought that we did sight a Bunyip lurking at the waters edge but it just may have been a tree branch. No other creatures were spotted on our walk. SL TFTC

Today was another nice day for 'caching on our visit to Dubbo.. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 13 caches (and DNFing 4).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards

Out for a ride on the Long Weekend, just before the NRL Grand final.
Straight forward find. Beautiful spot.

Maybe that is a peanut tree orchard ??
And maybe that council worker with the whipper-snipper was left with the task of cutting down the long grass around the trees that the slasher had missed ?? [:o]
Maybe I was just here because I was lost ??
Maybe that bridge leads to GZ ??
And just maybe I was in the wrong place to reach another right place to find a cache, right ??
And I did find a cache
That last bit wasn't piffle by the way
TFTC.
