We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches. We are staying in McLaren vale so decided to get out the bikes and go for a ride. We missed this one the 1st and 2nd times we went past due to a muggle sitting close by. So the third attempt I managed a quick find. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches
After a tasty pie and sauce for breakfast I headed to a known location to pick up some rubbish, enjoyed a colourful sunrise and poked a bear . It was then that I decided to make the most of this early start.I headed home, hopped on my bike , rode a couple of trains and followed a trail of caches into the vines .A most enjoyable day/night down south finding treasures.TFTC LBKeep smiling
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored a beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Spending a long weekend in the Southern suburbs which I havent visited very much since I started geocaching. So lots of unfound caches to keep me busy. The main theme was to target solved mysteries, highly favourited caches, caches requiring a TOTT, adventure labs and any other caches that I passed by.A hot one today so this was a quick park and grab and then back to the air conditioned car. Thanks for the cache 3LG.# # #14120 # #
Fairly easy find with this one. Interesting pool behind it, wonder what it's for.Find #235TFTC 3LG
On our way back to caravan park, just a couple more lol.Just 1 or 2 or maybe 3 more before the sun goes down. TFTC 3LG
Replaced logbook after nearby event.
This cache container was fully intact and dry, no missing lid???

Rain has gotten into the container because the lid is missing. Rain has gone but the logsheet is damp and very fragile.
Perfectly sunny day for a pedal Prob did 16 or so kliks from McLaren Vale to Old Noarlunga return - map showed 13km as the crow flies. Mixed results on the caching but picked up the pace closer to the coast. A swag of DNFs near my start point on the Shiraz Trail Then back to the Shingleback winery a bit later for tasting after I stowed the bike on the car.
Impressed with the good coords. Liked the containers for ride-by caching. A couple of hides with a Terrain rating of mountain goat but I was wearing runners. One butt slide to get back down to the track. A few waves and strange looks from others taking advantage of the balmy weather
Saving the other half of this trail for another day
TFTC COs Couldn’t have asked for a better excursion today.

Great series and I wish I'd had more time to find more caches in the series (another day).
The log in this cache is full, or very close to full, and will need to be replaced.
Cheers Jertzy

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. Our thanks to the COs who have contributed to the great time we have had on our Geo-guided tour.
We arrived in McLaren Vale today. After setting up camp we enjoyed a walk along the rail trail. This cache was soon in hand, logbook signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks LíB

I had impulsively signed up to do the Bright Walk around Adelaide, which was taking place at the end of the month. I then realised that I needed to do a little bit of training, as 21km with no km in the legs probably isn't the smartest of ideas! I ended up doing a few of the OTD caches around Mclaren Vale. I'm not sure how far I ended up walking, but there were quite a few found along the way. Exercise done + caches found = good day! TFTC LíB and sorry for the very late log...
Interesting water waste trap nearby. I assume it's some kind of filter. Cache found reasonably quick. Thanks for the cache.

And easy find but good hiding spot. Completing this trail after school every Wednesday bit by bit. TFTC
Found with Erine14 out for a nice morning walk before we both have work later! TFTC
This one was found in the first place we looked while on our short stroll this morning. Love it when that happens. Covered it over with some natural camo after signing the log. TFTC
Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
Thanks to LíB for putting out this cache for me to find

Camping at Mt Compass for Easter today Mr Felix decided to cycle from Willunga to Old Noarlunga picking off caches as he went. Great day out but boy was the cycle trail busy and by the time he finished it was 33degrees and a bit warm. [B)]

Found by Logan with Olga at 15:52 during a bike ride, with Luna the geo-dog running alongside. We found this one after we'd had lunch at the bakery in McLaren Vale, and during our return trip.
This time Logan was tasked with finding it without our help. We did have to make him put it back where he found it, and stop him taking swaps without a replacement.
We wrote the date as the 18th instead of the 16th for all the caches we found today.L

In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few near McLaren Vale before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Enjoyed this series I appreciate the work that has gone into creating all of these caches.. It has been a lot of fun finding them ... and still some more to go. TFTC
After lunch we headed straight to Samson Tall to order a case of their Grenache Rose after trying others through the week that broke our hearts. The sun was out and hot when we arrived so we decided it was finally time to walk some of the rail trail.
The trail of caches runs right by were we are staying but we have been scared all week to walk anywhere longer than a kilometre. The rain can come and go and you are destined to get wet.
We parked up at Kangarilla Road and the sun was shining. Like expected 400 metres it started pissing down again and we had to run into Coles for cover. Looks like we’re not staying dry. tftc

Down in what is easily the "Flavour Of The Month" for me this year... The Awesome!, McLaren Vale Wine Region [:x]
Not only for Geocaching but also for sampling the "Product" that this stunning part of SA has to offer {Already demolished a bottle of Sangiovese Rose 2019 from Chapel Hill Winery } [^]
I left home real early with my Deadly Treadly in the back of the GeoMobile so i can finish off the OTD October Series
Rode from Kangarilla Rd in McLaren Vale where i parked the GeoMobile to this the 24th one.
A quick find given it's a 3 and a half D star

Love Concorde. Watched it taking off at the end of the runway at Heathrow a couple of times...was amazing, it set off all the car alarms in the little car park that was there at the time. Our good friends in Windlesham could set their watches by the times it flew over their house. The museum of flight in East Lothian Scotland is fantastic. You can climb all over the concord there. We used to live nearby and the kids loved visiting
Found with muggle husband on a beautiful autumnal day. Took the dog for a walk and found a few caches along the way. TFTC
Nice hiding spot. Found with @Lasties01. We are loving this cache series. Tftc .
