The spot this one was hidden has gone and think need to clear out the spot for a proper hotel cache now.
Needs checking by CO. No DNFs until this run of DNFs, and now too many. Not found since August.
Looks like a few couldn't find it as they all passed through on Saturday (very busy area of caching going on as people travel and take advantage of the weather... did not plan trip to N.Island well).... so guessing it is likely a victim of the 26 November flash floods in the area. Am hopefully (if road through Roxburgh back open) be in the area on Saturday with a group of muggles (not the usual ones I roadtrip with) and will try make a stop here to check on this one. Failing that I've got on my Christmas break list a maintenance run looping around Clutha to Gore via this one.
Another DNF... in light of the recent storm it might pay to check this one is still there.
After a few disappointing DNFs around Alex for the weekend, we decided to try our luck here to get our confidence back. Sadly, another sad face. Think is one may have been washed away.
First DNF for this cache. I log DNFs. (I know many don't.) GZ appeared to be on the road for my GPS and for goggle maps. I searched about; even along the fenceline over the other side of the muddy channel, although not as well there as I should, as I didn't want to slip, and that wasn't the coordinates either. I poked a few things near the channel and near the gateway. I had no idea at all where this small sized cache could be, so I called a DNF and went onto the next cache.
Saturday drive to grab some boxes missed on a previous trip. Back on the main road after detours around the flooding with some snow still on the top roads and only avoided one big slip on the Gore road heading down the hill to the junction. Parked up at the GZ with things looking a little washed out with flotsam and debris lying around. The black box was pulled from the mud and after a rinse off and wipe down, the logbook was as good as new in the strong white bag. Only the beer cap swag got flicked. SL and things got set back to rights in the hint place with some anchors. TFTC
Staying at Miller's Flat Campground. Now the weather has cleared we decided to do a drive down the Millennium Track road to Beaumont , drive along the main highway to Miller's Flat & collect a few caches along the way to add to our holiday talley. Thanks to the cache owners for placing caches along the way. The Clutha is certainly "awesome " . TFTC
Fresh, would recommend passenger side of car to get out for this one.
Was about to jump gate when realised no need.

Oooo gosh. Between the sheep truck run off and the litter, we really had to fight the urge to boost it out of here. Ick. Cache quickly found, signed, and turned.
One of us spotted the location of the hide as we pulled into the parking area, so we had a nice quick find here. TFTC.
Heading to Cromwell for the day and thought be great day for grabbing some caches on the way.

Day # 2 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
I had so much looked forward to return to this beautiful country, and now I'm here again - awesome!
Today the journey took me southward from Dunedin to Invercargill and Bluff . Took a detour to cover more caches on the route
Mission accomplished!
At the end of the busy day I arrived in Bluff after driving approximately 300 km with my cute little green car and had happily collected 28 caches on the route and in Buff [^].
Another cute little Takeaway at the side of the road.
This logbook was triple-bagged -Wow!
Hey - New Zealand, you have awesome caches [^] [:X]! Almost all in great shape. [^]
So thanks to all the Owners involved [:X] [:X] for hiding and maintaining. [^]
Cheers from Germany

We flew into Invercargill last week to catch up with the rellies, now its home to Wellington via West Coast with maybe a cache or two to break the journey up. Heading to Makarora today.
Starting to run out of day and still some distance to go so bypassing lots of caches and going for quick park and grab.

We stopped here. First, for me to get the cache, and second for Granville86a to get us organised to do the new caches. Great day, thanks!
I am en route to central Otago after flying into Dunedin and picking up daughters car left at the airport for me, to look after grand kiddies for a couple of weeks, which will be a great delight as i dont get to see them very often living so far from us, in the North Island.
This was the last one for the day as i needed to get to daughters house before the chn arrived from school.
Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.

Found on 14/08/2016.
In Queenstown for the weekend and off to the Routeburn for a Winter tramp. Grabbing a few caches on the way.
A quick find but eventually the location will go for firewood...!

Known as dads junction when I was little travelling to visit relatives. Picked up trackable
A quick find on our way home to Dunedin, cache is hidden in the obvious spot. TFTC.
Nice easy find which was good since I had planned to drop off a trackable. Thought this would be a great place being a Junction to head in many different directions. TFTC
Found after a long weekend to Southland with a view to relocating and retraining.
Quick find thanks to the clue - though the area could do with some CITO at some point.
Dropped RV travel bug as this seemed a good place to do so.
Thanks for the smilie

Considered picking up the tourists... But they wanted to go to Gore, not Dunedin...
Heading to Dunedin from Wanaka. Couple of caches to grab and have a rest. TFTC! #1769
I slowed down as Mr i-gotit counted out the distance to GZ. I stopped right beside the hint which was on his side of the car and he had the cache before I was barely out of the car.
I don't think I would have had any trouble but nevertheless my friend spotted the hide straight away so I let her do the actual find. Thanks.
Had my eye on different hint object when muggle arrived for smoke break. Cito'd and chatted till they left. Turned my attention to hint objects, hmmm, there is a huge bee hive up there, stay clear. Cache soon in hand and dealt with. TFTC
Quick easy find on this damp evening. Someone was asleep in his truck with his lights on. TFTC
Very cold and windy today. I have been past here many times since this one e was published so I thought it was about time I stopped and got it. TFTC ☺
Found with Chosen. A quick find on the way home from a scorcher of a day in Central Otago. TFTC
A quick find with Granville86a as we made our way home from our 37hr 2015/2016 road trip, thanks for the cache Natalie!
Heading around the lower south island on a family holiday and we are going to pick up a few caches along the way. As many as the wife / mother will let us get away with. To save time and data, these logs will be shared and written by Roaming-Haywards and The Real Batman. This is the last day of the trip and we have been given the green light to grab as many as we can on the way home. Still grabbing the caches I can that don’t have hordes of muggles around. Beginning to think today was not the best day to embark on this trip. Getting closer to home now, so we decided to stop and grab a couple more again. This had the promise to be a quick park and grab and it didn’t disappoint. Found as soon as e got out of the car. Thanks for the cache.

A couple of cars parked up - one empty and the other with a guy having lunch. Snuck in and out. TFTC #7596
An easy find for us in amongst the rubbish in the area, seems that this is a dumping ground for every lazy prick in the area. No log in the cache so we replaced the log with some note paper. TFTC [^]
Well we found the cache container, but that was it. Everything else missing. We didn't have a spare log book with us so had to leave it as it was. (rather better concealed).
Quick find on a work trip, great excuse for a wee bit of geocaching.
A dirty nappy next to the cache and no I did not cito. Tftc

A truck was parked near GZ on our past so we had to make the stop on our way home.
Ah, the freedom of a geomobile to get all these wonderfully placed caches along the route to Roxburgh. TFTC.
The GPS had us driving around in circles for a while but eventually settled in an area which proved to be useful. Not sure about the log-book/travel log... seemed a bit out of place!! TFTC
I've often thought that there should be a cache here, and each time we drive past I think 'oh b%$#&r I forgot to bring one to place'. Thanks Natalie247 for a nicely placed cache. (FTF) @10.50am
