Found but some muggle as completely destroyed it. Stamped to smithereens. Will need replacing
A quick walk this afternoon before the winds really picked up. Wanted at least 3 finds today, looked for 4, but only got to sign 3. This one is in need of some attention. The hide is in a dead bush and easily visible. When I found it the lid was off and the pencil was on the ground but no logbook to be seen. I have put it all back together and added a scrap of paper. Will need some attention.
Thanks to 3LG from mogni

On a day of scattered showers, gridge98 and I decided to grab our bikes and do some of the December OTD series from Noarlunga.
Another OTD find, and another quick log. Thought this hide was rather obvious, but I guess most trail users are speeding down here quite quickly to notice this container, thanks 3LG. I also recall that this surf life saving reel that this cache is named for on this day was one of Australia’s most greatest inventions... and here I thought that was WiFi

Last night after the vent Davidwazza and I decided that we would come and tackle this OTD December today. Majority were fairly easy finds others took a few minutes and a bit of searching. Only one DNF along the way.
A very enjoyable ride and some nice views of the vineyards makes it that little bit special.

Found during a very pleasant day cycling along part of the Coast to Vines Rail Trail, enjoying the exercise, searches and scenery. Thanks for the cache 3LG!
Needed to get a few caches before I go home next week. This trip to Aust hasn't gone the best with family health problems and airline problems. Might not be back here for a while. TFTC
Wow walked straight past this one was looking on fence line then there it was

Headed out for a walk along the rail trail to continue this series in reverse. Not many muggles around today and was much easier on foot than on bike. Started at 26 December and continued back to 12 December. Will be back to complete the series another day.

It may be a year and 5 days later, but I'm finally back! And this time got a set of wheels to hopefully speed the process.
Nice easy walk along this part of the track.

Hearing voices in your head is normal. Listening to them is quite common. Arguing with them – acceptable. It is only when you lose that argument that you get in real trouble.

I joined fellow members of the Puzzled Puzzlers Group (S.A. Sewer Rats, doctor owl and blackadders) for a day with a mission.[8)] - Get S.A. Sewer rats to a find total of 4999 so that she could go and find SFE - 5000 finds for her magical 5000 th find. . Should be a piece of cake. But finding a group of caches that we all hadn't already had at least one find on was near impossible. [xx(] So we ventured down south and when I joined the others we still needed almost 30 finds.
With the tally at 2 finds and 2 DNFs it was time to hit a power trail and get some caches. Not having bikes we decided some walking was in order. [:o)] Enjoying the walk betwwen the train line and various industrial buildings andother quick find was made.
Thanks 3LG for this cache.

It was organised by the wise Owl Starfish and Snake to help Mrs Rat get to 5000 finds.
So the Snake picked Mrs Rat up and we met up with Dr Owl.
We then met up with the starfish at another cache.
We had a mammoth task to find 30 caches, before a dash to this cache.
This was a quick find.

Generic Log :
At an recent event there was a whisper that a particular Rat was nearing her 5000th find and that she only needed 30 to reach the goal. Mr. Blackadder, hearing this thought Hmm what an opportunity to get out on such a wonderful day with a small but fun group of fellow cachers and to witness the big 5000 finds he would invite himself along. Picking up Mrs SA Sewer Rat, meeting an Owl and then meeting up with a Starfish would make for a good day out. With a few minor disagreements on the navigation aspect we finally made a number of finds including of course this one. Many were easy and a few were not so obvious however smileys were eventually gained. TFTC and if appropriate, the series, some of which will need to be completed at a later date.

Out on the geo-bikes to finish the series we started quite a few months ago! Lid was off, but contents ok. Lid found and replaced, all ok. TFTC
Beautiful day to be out cycling and geocaching with most of December found and 3 of the October series. Thanks 3LG
Thoroughly enjoyed this section of OTD series on a beaut warm winter afternoon on the bikes with Shetland. 14 finds and 1 DNF. Log is wet. Thanks for providing this series for our enjoyment.
Continuing to do the OTD series in date order (well, as much as possible) and finally we've made it to December . Out on the bikes on a cool, clear morning was invigorating , but at least it wasn't raining .
Not in the first place we looked . TNLNSL.
Thanks for another one 3LG.

Jumped on the mountain bikes with the geowife and grabbed the caches along the Coast to Vines rail trail. Found and Signed log
Just under 12 months ago we made an unsuccessful search for this cache. With numerous recent finds offering encouragement, we returned today, Accurate coordinates led to a quick find in a location we had searched previously. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for the cache.
After struggling to find a rail station in Adelaide, it was a relief to be in Seaford and finally caching. Thanks.
Thanks for this series 3LG. It got quite hot out here today and the terrain wasn't always hugely attractive for cleated road bike shoes but I had a great day. Thanks for the cache.
Took me a while due to the vegetation, but then I remembered that most of the caches in this series have been fixed to trees/bushes/shrubs using cable ties. Once I remembered that there was only one place it could be – just a few metres south of where my GPS told me was the GZ. TNLNSL TFTC
Had to pick up my firefighting gear from the nearby fire station so went for a walk to grab the local caches. TFTC.
Came back to continue this trail. Out with my friend and walking the geomutts at the same time. Geodaughter came as well but she was looking for imaginary things .. Nice quick find. TFTC..
They weren't wrong about GPS being inaccurate under 30 feet. I thought I was going to go somewhere I shouldnt.
What a cold, dark day to be being active.

Despite searching over a wide area for about 20 minutes, we didn't find the cache. Assuming the coordinates were accurate, GZ was an obvious location. We did find a broken cable tie on the ground under a bush and a complete cable tie attached to the bush at GZ but, alas, no cache. Thanks 3LG for the series.
Beautiful evening for a walk, yet tonight this popular path is completely muggle free! All the better to be geocaching lol TFTC!
Myself, clare007 and hevwalker tackled this series today! Perfect weather for a wander although this weather meant that the track was like Rundle Street ….. with what seemed like every bike in South Australia wizzing by us!!! We found every cache!! All were in good condition and a number of them living up to their higher terrain ratings!! …………………………….. this was particularly true of #22 and #29 ……. On which hevwalker scored her 2000th. Find. Thanks 3LG for a very enjoyable series!!!
Out for the day with CPwanderer & clare007 tackling the December OTD series...it was a lovely day for a walk along the rail trail...& ride apparently as there were a lot more cyclists than walkers...we managed to find each & everyone which was an achievement in itself considering some of the terrain ratings...TFTC & the series 3LG
## A nice, cool day for a lengthy walk along the McLaren Vale share trail.
We had an interesting variety of terrain difficulties and I developed a need to constantly look over my shoulder as the track was very busy with cyclists
hevwalker & I even surprised a couple on bikes as we walked out of the vegetation.
A great opportunity to get some exercise in on a nice, flat surface, thanks for the series 3LG ##

Out with geodad in the southern area ticking off some more of the OTD December series. Was pleased to quickly find the familiar cache container. TFTC 3LG.
A nice walk along the walking/cycling track looking for caches with Shigiggles. Thanks 3LG.
After completing October I continued onto December and I was happy to find all 62. It was a great day of bike riding and geocaching! 46km later I'm a bit tired!!
Thanks for the caches 3LG

Today we finished the December series that me and the dog started last week.
This time we started from 31st and worked towards 18th.
We had 2 dnfs and few others that were missed on the first pass but found on the walk back.
As usual for tthe whole OTD series I will have to return to pick up a few that I missed.

Mattycat appreciates lifesavers. Cat's don't swim much.
All done while out for a weekend of cache finding with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin.
I stole Mrs Frog's bike to join Mr Frog on the rail trail and Mrs Frog
went hopping around the nearby markets for some other special finds!

Thanks for the cache. A game of cricket nearby with the shout of Out as we found the cache
I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. But you see, its SAGA nomination/voting season and my votes won't count if I don't log my 2015 finds... If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
I was in town for the weekend because of the ACDC concert.
Desperate to get some caches, logistics for the weekend really meant that Sunday afternoon was my only chance.
How make up for a weekend spend mostly doing other things?
Well, the only answer was to find somewhere with enough caches to do a weekend worth of caching in 1/2 a day. The two OTDseries (October and December) seemed to be the obvious way, so my bike came to Adelaide, specially for the occasion.
Thanks for a great series.
We had a couple of DNFs but had a great time all the same.

I knew where it had to be but took a while finding it coz only had light off phone, left torch in car, with jacknor
Riding along the track for some exercise and caches today and a nice easy ride it was.
Out on a warmish day to finish off this series (except for the one on the bridge I haven't yet found [B)] ). TFTC 3LG.
Trying to get some numbers as quickly as possible, I figured that doing some of the OTD caches would be the quickest way.
Tonight ended up being a lovely adventure, though
Only a little bit of drizzling rain at times, just enough to make the air smell sweet and clean [^]
Lovely darkness but still enough warmth and gentle breeze to make for an absolutely gorgeous night of pedalling this trail [^]
First cache in this series found at 20:30 and the last cache found at 23:07.
Total cache finds for an evening in the south due to picking muggle partner up from his mother's was 35 with a sort of DNF literally because I couldn't be bothered looking for more than two minutes as muggle partner was waiting.

Went out for a bike ride with the geokids. Started at 27th and went to 31st, then turned around and went south to find a few more. The geokids loved it. We saw roos, fish, galahs and a lizard.
The last for us today. Time for the playground now...

The Ukulele Kid and I spent the day on this powertrail on bikes, finding caches along the way. We were really impressed by the quality of the caches, especially the way that they were not all the same hide.
Thanks for a great day out.
Thanks for a great day out.
Fredfronky and I spent a good 5-6 hours hunting down these caches, the overall result was 50 finds and only 3 DNFs. It was the perfect day for a bike ride and we were impressed at the variety of hides that were placed. My first power trail but not boring or monotonous at all! Thanks for such an amazing time.

A great day walking the bike trail with 3LG had me beta testing this cache for them.
Saw these published last night and as I have a new bike to test what better way than to start along this trail. I had planned on starting the October series but this one was closer for today. [^]
So I stop at the car park on River Road and start with 31.12
What fun I had on a beautiful warm sunny spring day. Don't know how long it has been since I have ridden a bike but I reckon it would have to be at least 20 years!! But as they say 'It's just like riding a bike" and I even managed some of the hills between where I started and Lynton Tce where I stopped and turned around. [^] [^] I ended up with 9 finds and the last one I didn't sign as I saw the hide but wasn't confident enough to actually go and get it. I will wait until I have someone else with me for that one.
I managed bronze and silver on those I found so I was more than happy. After such a great experience I may just have to go out again tomorrow to get a few more.
Believe it or not I felt really great after I had finished but I'm sure my legs are going to feel it tomorrow. [?]
Thanks for the series 3LG, another great experience.
