I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Nacho the pug
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Sadly a DNF on this one but enjoyed the sculpture despite the origins probably not being a time a time the residents would like to remember but having family in the region, it was amazing to watch the resilience of the people to get on with things. SJT_NZ and I had a pretty solid look, wider than just focusing on hint in case it there was some geocache drift but no luck so will watch and swing by again at some point.
TARV2014 and I spent about 15 minutes looking. The hint seemed obvious, but after that spread our search wider without success. Could be worth a check next time the CO is passing by.
Team G0LD: Geocachers 0B80B8, Lis's crew and DaffyNZ are down from Whangarei for a few days. We've all solved the 4 big geoarts so they are the main target for the trip. Of course there were many other solved puzzles that we collected as well.
This was our Big Day out plan where we'd planned to get as many caches as we could. Unfortunately we just fell short of our target as we lost track of the exact number of finds. Good preparation and a fantastic team to work with made this an enjoyable and successful day. We completed the Fresh Breath, Smurfs, the Lolly series and got a few horses.
With lots of favourite points we decided to try this last one on our way home. It had been a big day and the clue was simple but no luck for us either. Perhaps it needs a check from the CO. Thanks for showing us this artwork anyway

This would make a great Letterbox ... literally its made for it. A quick find, bigger than I was expecting. Awesome location. Thanks Nacho the pug.
Tried this once before but I think it was missing then...much easier tonight! Trying to gather up the last few points I need for this challenge so a quick night time hunt before I head north

Haven't been to Kaiapoi yet, so nice sunny morning, great chance to get some K's in, AND turn those green dots yellow.
Last couple of logs weren't promising, but I'll have it a look anyways. Yeh it's gone.
BUT!!! No 32 had Mail. But it was nothing to do with this. Just a bit of junk. However a quick visit to the famous Scottish Restraunt, some receipt paper and bingo. Cache restored and I get another find. Cheers!

Couldn’t find it and needed the hint. Was looking for something smaller, but was happy to feel something a little bit different than a letterbox. Great sculpture reminding us of stressful times. TFTC
Out on a bike ride to retrieve some caches and you brought us to this one. A really neat sculpture. TFTC

We were on a mission to find a supermarket and then somewhere to stay. Next minute we are parked up and off to find this cache. What a cool structure and a great way to remember all the houses and the trauma involved. Thanks for bringing us here Nacho the pug.
Out with Baird to climb everest, seems a good track to do it on, great day out! Tftc
We were completing the adventure lab in Kaiapoi and made a detour to check out this really cool structure. We had no trouble locating the cache , and sat on the nearby bench to sign the log. TFTC
Heading south from Tauranga. Catching up on laundry at nearby laundromat. Cool place for a hide.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

A really cool structure to place a geocache in! Had no trouble with the find, and sat on the bench and signed log. TFTC
A wonderful piece of art. In town to get a special deal at a nearby shop. Cache was an easy find. TFTC.

A great hide! A very interesting totem pole here; a very poignant memorial. The log book was completely sodden. We did maintenance: log book replaced with a new log and plastic bag. TFTC!
We drove past this cache a few months ago so today were keen to stop. A park opposite was perfect. SoBad stayed in the car and left Mrs to cross over and make the quick find. A full logbook so she signed on the back cover.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Although on arrival at this unusual sculpture, it looked as if finding this cache might take a while, it turned out to be a quick easy find, and was actually bigger than the nano described. A favourite from us. TFTC
Found with NZDi. It is Waitangi Weekend and NZDi decides she wants to spend a few days in Christchurch to do some retail therapy. A couple of our grandchildren have birthdays coming up and she can't find anything suitable in the local stores in Blenheim and is hoping the big city has a better selection. The plan is to travel south on Friday caching along SH 1, do the shopping on Saturday morning and cache out at the McLeans Island MTB park in the afternoon, then head home on Sunday with a detour to cache the K2R- Passchendaele Memorial Path between Kaiapoi and Rangiora (I guess that is what K2R stands for). Throughout the weekend we dated and signed our logs in full, as KM + ND or a combination of both depending on the room available on the sheet/book.
Today is day three of the trip and we are on our way home after attending a disappointing Riccarton Market. Having just completed the K2R Power Trail we decided to pick up a couple more local caches to add to the numbers. NZDi pointed out this sculpture as we came into town and said 'There's gotta be a cache there!', so when I checked the closest greenie to where I thought it would be and it came up with 'You've got mail!' I said 'You're right'. After that it was a QEF PnG.

What a nice idea for a cache! I had some time to kill while my tyres were replaced, so went for lunch and a cache. Was a bit surprised to find something a lot larger than the description. Thanks.
Found with val. Took a few seconds to find. Had to break a few construction rules best to find at night
Found with SonofAnarchy. Advisable at night, but it is a construction zone right now
Currently in a construction zone. Also log book is full. Log bag is also hard to close
Last tried this on in 2015 during the mega. But alias not for me then.
Today much easier and a nice quick find. All in good condition but the log needs replacing
Thank you for bringing me to this area Nacho the pug and for placing and maintaining You've got mail! (Kaiapoi) geocache from Mr Cuddly Brick

Found with orth21 .This is our 1st afternoon in New Zealand. Love the story behind this site. This is our 5th visit to NZ, our 1st being just the Earthquakes then again after. Love seeing the regrowth of the areas affected.
Having worked in this area a little in the aftermath of the earthquakes this was of great interest to me. Thank you for bringing us to this meaningful memorial, and a cache as well!
Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!

Great sculpture from an old neighbour. Log book full so added a bit of paper
Staying nearby this cache had to find at least one here a lot of other caches around have dnfs. So going with this one on the way to dinner. Arrived at gz, made the find and with the help of someone with a skinnier arm made the retrieval. Signed the very full log but managed to fit the date and cache name on so that was lucky replaced exactly as found. Thanks for the cache bringing me to such a significant cool sculpture. Thanks from friendly feilding
Nice sculpture, and found in the last place looked on the hint item.
Should have known it would be there.
Scribbled my name on the las page here, but future finders may want to add a strip of paper for a new log.
TFTC Nacho.
Heading back to Blenheim today, but first port of call before that was the Ohoka farmers market near where my younger sister lives, which is interestingly held on a Friday.
It’s quite good as well. Bought some plants and smallgoods.
Four of us descended here for a bit of a look around and some brunch before I headed north.
I grabbed a few caches on the way.
A look at some in Kaiapoi before a quick stop in Kaikoura to stretch the legs.
And that was it. Highlight of the day was bumping into BaldEd - always good to put a face to the name.
TFTC all the COs.

Nice hide. Thanks to the help of my dad who helped find and is quite pumped for next cache
Wonderful sculpture, great history too. Cache easily found. Logbook is full, signed right at the back. Didn't have a new one on me to put into sorry.
On our way to CHCH to buy our son a new car, as my brother was one of the people who lost their Kaiapoi home in the earthquake I wanted to make a point of finding this cache. Turned out to be a bigger cache than I imagined so with using the hint it was a very quick find. Thank you for placing this cache
Today I drove to Kaiapoi to find some Geocaches and do a little bit of the powertrail towards Oxford.
Came here twice. At first to feet, had a good look and then came muggles and sat on the bank. Annoying. So I went to my car (around 1km) and drove to the Cache. Traffic jam at the street, but no walking muggles. I didn`t park my Cachemobil probably, so it need to be a fast search. And finally I could find it
Great Cache and awesome location. I really enjoyed that Cache. This is a good citycache
