It sounds like the container is gone. Under the new local rules I won't be looking to replace one here but there are other spots in the area which a cache would sit nicely.
I also found the hint object easily and searched the area around it fairly thoroughly but no joy. I suspect that this one has gone.
Found the hint item, but nothing near it at all. Not where in the obvious place, given the size, that's for sure. Thanks anyway for bringing here.
.We are parked just down the road so stopped off here early today. Searched for some time with no joy. REchecked the hint to confirm this one is AWOL. Contact CO to confirm. So on our return trip back to Zara this evening we arranged a replacement and a couple of rocks to hopefully keep it in place. Cheers. Now back to Zara for dinner, compliments of The Seagnoid and some well earned ZZZZZs.
Easter Sunday 21 April - Exploring Dunedins amazing Southern Peninsular today. Zara is resting up at Harwood.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Taybeedragon and I are camping just down the road here, while we cache the peninsula, so we have passed this cache a number of times. Earlier today we confirmed the cache wasn't there, but just to be sure messaged the CO. Yep, exactly where we expected it to be. I dropped in a replacement, log good for about 40 entries. Enjoy!
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Instant find here but no log in the cache. Left a sheet of RITR notepaper as a replacement. TFTC # 13,583
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 12 Dunedin 10 caches found including the last of the targets. I didn't understand the hint item until I spotted it. Thank you for the placement

During our holiday in New Zealand we have visited both the North and the South Island. We saw a lot of highlights of this beautiful country, but there is so much more to see. So many highlights, so many caches! The geocaches showed us a lot of special and interesting places. Sometimes a quick find, sometimes we had to search longer. A few DNF's, but that doesn't matter. We loved New Zealand and we hope to come back some day!
Today we have found the cache "Harwood, Peninsula (Otago)".
Natalie247, thanks for creating and maintaining this cache!
Greetings from the Netherlands,

Nice easy park and grab. Had to do this one. I wasn't geocaching when my parents built there house at number 80 tidewater drive, so coming back to this spot brought back many memories. I would love to do more of the caches on the geocaching in years to come, but when I saw this it was a must!
Quick ride for this one. Just had to wait for the muggle kids to go elsewhere. TFTC!!!
Like others, we were wondering what the hint meant, until we got there! TFTC
Wondered what the hint meant until we spotted it. Amazing views. Low tide so plenty to see. Thank you for bringing us here.

Cache # 4,114 - a quick find as the light was failing, as CelloJoss and I were here to visit some friends. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Out in the area on Sat 9/9 to check on caches and get them back up and running.
Due to king tides and slips in the area following heavy rainfall over last 48 hrs, however roads in the area have been affected. Condition of this cache is unknown. A state of Emergency is still in place - for upto date info on roads go to www.dunedin.govt.nz/road-conditions
A large portion of my caches have been in affected area and I am currently through work/voluenteering have to focus on other post flooding activities.
As I expect it will be at least 1 week until I can do effective maintenance runs to check and replace caches I apologise now if you were hoping to claim this for a dot day/Mary Hyde gold and it is not in its expected state.
I would be grateful for any comments on what needs to be done and help empty water and provide dry logs.
