A wet walk up to this one after work today. Chucked the raincoat on and headed up, pretty easy going until the last little stretch. Was greeted by a head of roos at GZ not sure if I blended in because of the black raincoat but they didn't move until I was nearly next to them. Not much of a view today but still a nice walk. TFTC!
last one for the day
come on, legs
you can do it
tripping over thistles and disturbing kangaroos
we make our way up the hill
the sun set in technicolor glory over the distant hills
it is quite the view
one to savour and soak up
while trying to avoid being savaged by the prickles
or kicked in the face by an angry roo
but
we survive
with minimal blood loss and minimal daylight
it is time to head down and set up camp
dinner awaits
and we can bask in the afterglow of a glorious sunset over the hills

Had to find it without boyfriend not boyfriend this time. He might be the one that weighs the team down.....
Pretty view!
Pretty view!
Headed out with Mrs Wright and the plan was to go for a quick walk and grab a cache close by.. we ended up grabbing 5 caches and just over a 5km walk.. I love a nice easy walk but not one with hills.. the views were superb.. interesting to see how green it was in your photos and how dry it is now.
Thanks team mvb.
Thanks team mvb.
1st geocaching adventure. Good walk straight up the hill with the 6 & 3yo's. Nice view from here!
This was the start of the "not so easy walk" series of caches today.
It was a bit of a pull up from the trail for us as we are still trying to get our fitness back after having it taken away from us in Nepal.
We eventually huffed and puffed our way to the top and did a fair amount of resting while we signed the log and worked out the best route to the next one, which is down hill, YAY!
Great views from up here on this nice quiet day.

Circled round the hill and ended up coming back out at JA’s Outer Limits. Followed the track for a while and could see where hide would be but walked a bit further to reduce the steepness. Once on top GZ was quickly spotted and cache found. Not much camo but not certain if anyone else would look there anyway. These MVB people are fitter than I am early in the season if this is the easy walk!
First spotted Jezebel for the season was a bonus

Our second find for the day onour little bush walk adventure with the Ez boys.
Starting to warm up on the beautiful Spring day! The Ez boys are spotting all sorts of wildlife as we go and having a wonderful time.
The cache was found no problems and in good order. Ripper pics taken today.
Thanks for the cache and the heart rate increase!!!

#2 on a walk with Murray Valley Bushwalkers - great view! Forgot my GPS and phone wouldnt work, but had one of the owners along to give me hot and cold.... TFTC!
Another great caching spot. We continued our walk from the last cache. A great place to walk the dogs. Our 10 year old dog climbed up leaving us to amaze where she was getting her energy from. The views up here are amazing. Well worth the walk.
Long overdue to catch up on my logging, have had some issues with my field notes.
I found this with Shelley0 on our walk with Tess the geodog.
Thanks again TeamMVB

After grabbing kurrajong at the bottom of the gully we headed straight up & along the fenceline to this one. Amazing the amount of water pouring off the mountain! Absolutely saturated! Plenty of roos around that kept to themselves. Lucky our pooches are well into their senior years & were too pooped to even think about bothering them. Kids grabbed this one before I even got there. SL & returned as found. All good with the hide. #2 for the morning. Awesome view and a very chilly breeze on top as the storm clouds threatened overhead! Tftc. Kids keen to keep going so off to the newby 'the outer limits'.

Thought I'd grab a couple of caches whilst I was on this side of the hill.
Fantastic views from here, glad it wasn't raining so could sit for a bit and have a breather.
TFTC TNLN Cheers.

From "#2" this was a hard climb up to GZ, but well worth the effort.
I looked to where the GPS was pointing at from the gully and wondered how I was going to get there. It looked all "up" and arduous.
I pushed on, but zig-zagged a bit to make the ascent less debilitating, but realistically the walk was doing me good and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.
About 50m out a few kangaroos were eyeing me off, and I scattered them more as they were in my line to GZ.
The cache was found in no time, but before I signed the log I took some photos of the brilliant panorama before me. Today you could see for miles and miles.
SL at 10am. All ok with the hide.
A favourite point from me. I took plenty of time there admiring the area before moving on. TFTC team mvb.

Found today while breaking in my new Zamberlan Vioz.
This was number 4 for the day. Taking the hard way from all the "easy walk" cache's on to the next gave the boots a good work out, this was no exception. But hey guys, you guys need to check this one.
All I found was an empty container, Lid Missing, Cache log & pencil; Missing.
Sorry Picture will not load
Many thanks for the neat cache, in a cool location.

After getting the notifications for this series last week and being annoyed that I was away when new caches were published I decided on this glorious afternoon that I'd take the GeoDog for an "easy walk".
This was another steep climb up to GZ but what a great view! Worth a FP just for the location! Loved the afternoon sun hitting all the surrounding hills!

Well easy walk is very well named, it was such an easy walk from cache 2 to cache 3, I only had three heart attacks. I don't know whether it was just my lack of fitness but this was hard work. Getting to the top and turning around to admire the view was worth it though and then the final climb and finding another blank page was another positive. TFTC Team MVB and thanks for the workout and especially getting me up to appreciate the views this part of the world has to offer.
