Unfirtunately the location I have this cache is affected too much by water and again the contents was soaked so I am taking it if foible to do some changes which I hope will stop the water issue.

Lunch at Woy Woy so I came up early by train and went the one stop further to Koolewong and walked back along the cycleway collecting the caches in the area.
This was the first. I found it easy as I've seen this type before. Its in a nice spot where you're out of the way of prying eyes.

TB drop requested by owner. There is something important now missing from this cache, and it is almost impossible to retrieve the container. Luckily I had just the right small tool in the car.
Well this was a struggle, rode up the road but could not see a path down to the park, so went back up couche rd to go to the waterfront to find a way around, went alright till I discovered most of it was boggy and there was no path.. With onnly a few more jettys to jump I was at the park for the find. Tftc
Cache had a bit of water in it and all contents damp, log in its bag in good condition.
New replacement logbook. It seems there is some water ingress. So I've put new logbook but will later do a little more hopefully this will keep for now.
Yes. Second trip here. First attempt spent 1 hour and still no find. Today it was a quick find. I think it had been cleared by another finder today. Thankyou
Being away when this was published gave my cat-sitter an opportunity for a FTF on this one, leaving me to contemplate the find on my return.... At which point I had just about forgotten about it!
I remembered it was sitting here waiting fir me this morning while running errands in the Woys... But with a box of ice creams needing to get home to the freezer and the previous log suggesting this may take a while I hesitated to stop on my way back through... But the geocache called and I had to go.
I parked at the station and headed int the "park" - as I approached GZ I recalled the last time I was here for a cache - or should I say last several times I was here - I "lounged" around in the sun for hours upon hours on that jetty looking for that damn nano that wasn't even there! So needless to say I was pleased to see the size and location of this new one was not a repeat of the last! (Although if I recall correctly, that was the cache that put me in touch with this CO, so a nice connection there)
Anyway, I reached GZ and scanned the area - where I very quickly had the ahuh! moment and had the cleverly disguised cache in hand... Back in the car in less than 2 minutes - so no need to worry about a melted mess if ice cream after all
I enjoyed this find, despite it being all over and done with in a matter of moments - a fav point awarded Thanks for the cache Mr Damage!

Having the day off work, I thought I'd revisit and try to improve on my previous DNF. Cycling from Umina up to the park into the teeth of a strong nor'easter, I spent another age poking around in all the obvious hiding spots, to no avail. Thankfully the park was deserted and I was able to take time to do some serious head-scratching, whereupon I spied something that looked just a little bit suspicious. Surely not, but hey, it's worth a look and, um, yes, it was.
Log signed and everything replaced for the next victim, er, cacher, I mounted the bike for the return journey, only to find the wind had swung around to the south-west and I was riding into its teeth again. Oh well, a good workout for my leg muscles, I suppose.

No problems with onlookers on such a wet and windy day, and GZ was protected from the neighbours too. After a bit of a poke around I saw what turned out to be a very well hidden container. Thanks to MrDamage for a great cache, which I appreciated much more than the last one out here, where I had to hang off the end of the pier!
Yay found this one fairly easily.
nice cache construction.
thasnks for the hunt.

After a bit of searching, it was finally spotted! I felt kind of embarrassed if someone eventually could see me... Anyway, totally worthy! Followed the CO instructions to grab it and replaced with care. TNLNSL. Fave point awarded
Thanks MrDamage

{FTF} at 10:50am.
I was in Point Clare feeding an absent geocacher's cat when I got one of those tell tale dings on my phone this morning. Once I saw that the FTF opportunity was just down the road at a park I'd been to previously looking for a now archived cache, I quickly bade farewell to the cat (not that he cared ... he was too busy eating by then ) and headed off to GZ where I found an empty park ... no fishermen, no kids and more importantly, no Fishes and no Tigers fans.
A common hiding spot at GZ attracted my attention initially but then I realised it was too small for this cache so I started looking a little wider. Another possibility soon came into view and upon investigation, I found a container full of goodies that kids will undoubtedly like. Not for me though, I just wanted to find a virgin log book and when I did so, I took much pleasure in putting my name in the FTF position. Thanks Mr Damage.

I had a bit of a look on my way past but none of the likely hiding places revealed anything - I was probably barking up the wrong tree. Then a bunch of muggles armed with fishing gear appeared so I abandoned my quest for the day.
