Lots and lots of wonderful vintage and classic cars on the road today - great day for it. I came out here to complete the simile series but have decided it would be better to leave it for another time by bike so this was my turn around point. TFTC # 18,762
A nice easy png on my way through the area.
I found this coin inside the cache (pic included) that doesn't seem to be a regular geocaching TB, but has a 7 digit number on the back in order to log it at pathtags.com
I look forward to exploring this site and finding a cool place to put the coin next.

Lunchtime NOW! but.... Find as expected. Now lunch? Black tulip?Blue duck? No it's the White Rabbit and definitely recommend a stop there. Tftc
On our way home from Birdling's Flat...when you've got a co-driver and you're already stopping for a cache now and then, what's 1 more hunt just up the road!?! Quick hunt and sign before replacing it TFTC!
20 October 2021 11:17. A quick stop on the way to Akaroa today with GSEL to clear up the PWGT caches there. Tftc, number 10176 for me
9984. Today was the beginning of another South Island road trip. This time the plan was to pick up the new geotour caches on Banks Peninsula before heading over to the West Coast. We also have a lot of Adventure Labs to target in far flung towns during the trip. I flew down with geocaching buddy Infoferret to work on a lot of mutually interesting caches and share the costs of a rental car. This was another one close to the main road so we stopped for a park and grab. I managed to find this one before IF had got over to GZ. Heard a bellbird singing in the nearby gum trees. Thanks FastFrames for hiding the cache here.
Thanks for this cache, FastFrames - GPS had me in the grass, too, but the name was the big hint. Quick find, all good.
Fortunately, a very quick find enabled me to get away from the heavy and speedy traffic; TFTC

Stopped here briefly to grab this cache on our way to collect the last of the PWGT caches. Nice quick find and then we were on our way again. TFTC

I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

We stopped here on our way to the Packhorse track. Our GPSr was pointing into the grass, but eventually geosense prevailed. It took us a bit longer than it should have. TFTC!
Nice find with woolwood9 while driving in the area today.

Down in Christchurch with the Squirrel, ABCDF4 and eyespyben. During Covid lockdown, we solved a load of puzzles and decided that this would be a good time to visit. We've enjoyed a few days of good weather and seeing the Canterbury countryside. The caches have been in varying states - some good, some not so much. Our time here has been a blast, and we'd like to thank all COs who have made this adventure possible. Thank you and TFTC.
With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap). Logging all finds as Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa - Our hometowns)... During Covid-19 lockdown, we solved a truck load of puzzles around Christchurch - Canterbury region. No use thrashing the old grey matter for no cause - We decided we should make good on this handiwork...
There are lots of interesting trails and geoart surrounding Christchurch. What you aren’t told is how far flung some of these caches actually are. Some beforehand advice would have been great, so here are some of my notes... You’re welcome!
1. Mobile coverage is patchy, especially in those quiet, rural areas where it was most needed. Saving caches to offline might show that you are prepared and organised...
2. There are many dusty metal roads on the trails. The car will get messy, and your hair will feel like cardboard at the end of the day...
3. Suitable clothing and footwear are essential. You will climb in and out of hedges, gorse, and other rough stuff. You might get scratched, cut to shreds, and bleed a lot. It’s not advised to wear your brand new jacket on the day...
4. Take lots of food and drink. You’ll probably be head down, tail up and not realise you haven’t eaten until late afternoon. There are very few shops or gas stations out there...
5. Make sure that you secure keys and wallet and know where these are placed for easy retrieval. A full box of pens might be useful too, especially if you’re inclined to free some into the wild...
6. Know the difference between left and right, and north, south, east, and west. Turning right and heading north will not get you to South Christchurch quickly.
7. Look with girl’s eyes rather than boys eyes... Some caches haven’t been found in a while and you might have to get down on your knees to pray.
8. Always be prepared for misleading hints. This is what turns simple caches into D5/T5 hides... “Head height” could mean the cache is positioned at your toes.
9. Have a sense of humour and like the people you go caching with. It’s going to be a very long day, and you might want to hurt someone during the journey...
10. Make sure you can operate your phone/device and it doesn’t crash when you most need it...
11. Learn to cut and paste logs because you’re going to repeat this function so often when logging all of your finds.
12. Above all else, have fun and be kind...
After the police moved us on from McLeans Island, we decided to head south-east. There are lots of interesting caches to visit in the area, including a puzzle trail, Canterbury CANZ and the Little River Ad Lab... We stopped for this hide along the way. A straightforward find - Thanks FastFrames and TFTC.

After puzzle solving in the Canterbury region along with ABCDF4 we were invited to join Fap (from Fap & Gap) and Squirrel Nutcase to a week long caching adventure in the Canterbury area. With flights and accommodation booked were off, all met up in ChCh. and many hard dusty Kms travelled and many caches found, I think the Squirrel has said it all in his brief. Many thanks for the placements and Cos for bringin us to the very pleasant areas we travelled in to your region

This was a find for my miss 10, I was expecting a cache like gracies over the pass lol
We went down to Chch to visit our son and see the new house and while we were there i was able to locate a few caches and complete lab caches as well. We went out to visit Akaroa as we had not been for nearly 40 years and we had a delightful time there. it has not changed greatly we were pleased to see as we thought cruise ships and tourist may have altered the ambience of the little town but it was delightful as ever. thank you for this cache along tyhe car route.
JD and I had a fun day out geocaching around Birdling's Flat and Little River. We made a quick stop on the way home and I soon had the cache in hand. Tftc from team Jeje.
Injeanious and I were having an afternoon of exploring around Little River today. We enjoyed rock fossicking at Birdlings Flat and stopped for some yummy food at the Little River cafe and gallery whilst also picking up some geocaches. We found this one on our way home, TFTC!
We went out on this lovely day for a bike ride and picnic. Had to stop here to get another smiley and yes it was calling for a cache. Thanks for this cache FastFrames.

Quick find while on a day trip with my 4 year old son. He stayed in the car for this one. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain their caches. Find # 1626
I was going to do this one on the way *up* the valley but there was a muggle in his van across the road. The way was clear on the way back so I stopped for a quick find.

#14289. There was good parking a short distance down the Kaituna valley road, and the cache was soon located. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on a weekend trip to Akaroa, our first visit in over 7 years.
We intended taking a detour up Kaituna Valley Rd, so turned off and parked on this road, walking back to GZ. A quick find - saw the pink camo peeping out at me through a hole. Cache all good and dry inside. TFTC.

Had a job to do over the peninsula and decided to take the rest of the day off and do some caching. This was a quick easy find but cleverly hidden.
JSando and I were lucky enough to find super cheap tickets to Christchurch in the boxing day sale, so here we are for a long weekend of sightseeing, eating, drinking and or course caching. After leaving the CBD area we headed south, staying at Governors Bay, but having many hours between landing and being able to check in, we headed further south for a small loop of caches before checking in for a rest.
A quick find. TFTC
