Nice find here. All in good condition. Our biggest challenge was finding the park. car GPS has us parked in a dead end road. Then we read the description and realised we were not in the right place. Quick check if the map had us headed in the right direction,TFTC!
I was a bit concerned that this one would be difficult to find considering the last visit was over 6 months ago, but thankfully the cache was uncovered quickly. Thanks Sweet-sour/youngoldfella!Today is day four of our Hervey Bay holiday. Today I jumped in the warthog and headed to the South-eastern corner of Hervey Bay. Stopping in Wondunna, Booral, Pir'ri reserve and River Heads. After fossicking around the mangroves I headed back north and stopped for a few more on the way home to go fishing. A great, but very warm day out!Heading north on a 5-day trip to Hervey Bay with the family has allowed me to go out and cache the surrounding area. I was able to cram the tredley into the back of the warthog and travel north, stopping a few times. Once to maintain a cache, and another to find a cache. I finally set sights on my destination, Torquay. Over the course of the few days I had, I cycled the new rail trail series of geocaches, did a combined day of shelling and caching Point Vernon, took a drive through Booral and River Heads, travelled to Howard, Torbanlea, Toogoom and Dundowran. On the final day I spot cached as I made my way south, stopping in Walligan, Susan River, Beaver Rock and Owanyilla. I then fought the southbound traffic for a while, then detoured via Yengarie and through Tiaro back to the sunny coast. All things considered, a great holiday and a productive one for geocaching! a MASSIVE thank you to all the COs that I found the caches of along the way!
On my way home from Hervey Bay, stopped by for a few cache finds. This was first. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Sweet-Sour. All good with this cache.
Well hidden under detritus but spotted the flash of the yellow lid. Left swag - Save the Bees!
We are staying at Maryborough for a short time and to help fill in our days we are exploring using geocaching as our guide. We found all the caches that we had targeted for today bar 1 and even with a PAF we had no luck.
One of hte caches bought us to the home of the CO where we had a lovely chat about all things geocaching and we were also offered a hint for the cache that we had not found. All the caches were in good condition and the log books did not need any attention. A huge thank you to all the CO's for placing these caches for our enjoyment.

6th cache for the day found us at this park, nice little park in a quiet setting with several kangaroos lazing around in the sun. Quick easy find. Tftc
We are house sitting in the area. What better way to discover the area than to go find some caches. TFTC.
Quite quite difficult really overgrown but eventually after a little bit of searching we finally found it Second find of the day
Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching on my Oregon 750t A quick find and roos spotted
Tftc. Quick find. I'm a hb local just finding the 3/4 left today. Some solo geocaching on a stormy afternoon. Perfect.
Hi there Sweet-Sour.
We are visiting Hervey Bay for a few days, and today we ranged further afield before logging some caches in the nearby suburban streets.
We found 10 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Rather nice little spot hidden away here and I suspect used by few other than the locals. Way to go if you happen to be a local.
Thanks indeed.

Found and signed log while traveling around the country....cache was laying on the ground, we put it back where we thought it should be...TFTC
Went to the Queensland for 10 day's, landing on the Goldcoast, picking up a car rental. We spent the first 4 days staying in a nice hotel in Surfers paradise, doing all the Theme parks and some caching... While at the theme parks we got to pat Dolphins, feed Tigers etc. Then we headed up to Australia Zoo, where we booked a Tiger wall, Which was amazing, after the day at the zoo, we headed to Harvey bay, for 4 day's before heading back to the Goldcoast to return car, and catch flight home. Really loved the new Lego store at Dreamworld, went back 3 times.Tftc
This is our last cache for the morning, we have breakfast that needs to be eaten and kids that need to be taken to the movies.
Gps says some sort of meterage to the final destination, hmmm, no one around, let's just drive as close as possible. Well that worked, we are nearly on GZ.
We find the cache, add our name. Now it's time to grab the kids for breakfast at the beach, but not before pulling out a few bmx moves...

Over from Scotland visiting my sister who lives very close by so this cache was a must do. Thought I was very brave poking around here armed only with a geostick. Thankfully no snakes or spiders, only mozzies. Tb visited. Tftc.
We were able to drive almost to GZ for this one. What a lovely little park, and no muggles today. Thanks Sweet-Sour for showing us this area. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
Nice wander to GZ and the cache was soon found but not where the hint suggested. TFTC Sweet-Sour
Travelling around Australia and currently staying in Hervey Bay, Queensland for a few days .
So very hot here at the moment. Its been airconditioned caravan or airconditioned car! BUT today we changed that and decided to head out on the GeoBikes for a few hours.
After a fish n chip lunch Mrs Felix cycled home and Mr Felix continued on alone as the afternoon thunderstorm approached.

Our next four caches were 4 different parks in the area - this cache we found somewhat exposed on the ground. We replaced it where we though it was supposed to be according to the hint! Park nice and quiet today.

Nice day for a few Geocaches. A bit hot today so we picked ones that would not require too much hiking! Dropped TB. TNSL. TFTC.
We are finally able to spend some time to catch up on logging our cache finds from over the last few months. We were in the area visiting Mrs Just a Trifle's sister and stopped by for a quick find before heading back home. The cache was easily located and with our name added to the log book, we were on our way.
Thank you Sweet-Sour for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Decided today was the day to conquer Maryborough and Hervey Bay and whilst at it why not Tin Can Bay and all the new ones at Gympie. Left home at 0430 and arrived home at 2030. Just over 600 kilometers of driving. Took plenty of rest and meal stops. This kind of driving and distance is not new to me. 24 finds for the day and no DNF's but came so close a few times but stayed at it. Only PAF twice. Did not get all the Gympie ones as I ran out of daylight and one particular cache , Mail box Multi, took far too much time.
I arrived at park and had a look at the distance still to go as indicted by my GPOSr and as there were no muggles in the park I decided to drive in as far as I could go and I spied approximately 15 Kangaroos. Walked towards GZ and soon had the container in hand. I was aware the last two finds were NF's so I have attached a photo of the container as proof it is still there. Not that hard to find for oldies but newbies might find it challenging. A quick find and all in good order.

A nice quiet spot too

Out and about today with Sweet-Sour on a bit of a road trip to find more of Sweet-Sour's caches. As I am the highest finder at the moment of his caches I want to keep the title.
Another quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Finally got some time to go for this one so the geoson and I loaded into the car and off we went.
Arrived at the park in the late afternoon. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a few kangaroos happily grazing on the grass, that is til the local four legged annoying noise machines started up. These pests always ruin an otherwise nice peaceful place.
With the roos being chased away we moved to the gz and the geoson quickly spotted the cache. Opened it up to a nice fresh logbook.
Replaced it and we had a play on the playground to round out the trip.
