Thank you for the cache. I found it on my way from Tararua Range to Kaitoke Regional Park Campsite.
A nice quick park and grab as we left the park after a very enjoyable morning exploring and finding some caches along the way.Great place for a cache, thanks for the placement.
We went in to have a look around at this place, got the cache on the way outCheers and thanks,S.t.
Fun park and grab after a beautiful day walk up the ridge! Was interesting wandering back into the carpark at dusk to find a rave shaping up...!
On our cartrip from Martinborough to Wellington. Looking for the public toilet. Greetings from Finland. TFTC
Needing a cache for today, and knowing I was going to be busy this evening, I decided to pop out during my lunchbreak to see if I could find this cache. I really ought to visit this park more often, as there are many great walks here. But not today, as I only had time for a quick park 'n' grab. No issues finding the cache, or signing the log, before replacing it back as found. Thanks for setting this one up, and keep up the good work.
**taybee** is caching again with **taybee nz** for the day
Quick find here today
All in good order, sign log book as **taybee** or **tb**
or ( **TNZ** or **taybee/nz** as *taybee and taybee nz joint sign* ) TFTC
Cache was found at **02/08/2023 @ 15:15:18**

A nice quick find, last for the day as we head over the hill. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off for a wee break "up north". Time to move on from the Kapiti Coast, over to Martinborough, through a less well travelled route. The weather was mostly good, but there was the odd shower of rain. Maybe tomorrow we'll get back to summer!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

This camping area is really beautiful. On this trip we were not equipped for camping, but I would really like to explore New Zealand by camping. This country is really set up well for that.
This was our last find for the day in this area, mainly because the day was coming to an end and we would have to leave the park. There remain many other caches that I would like to look for, but they will have to wait for another trip oneday. Walking around the place where the Rivendell set for Lord of the Rings was filmed was a very pleasant way to end our visit to Upper Hutt.
This one was very close to the road, so I managed to persuade my muggle wife that we could stop here on our way home. That's what we did, and I made short work of finding the container and adding my name to the logsheet.

Wandered along here from the parking lot and spent longer waiting for the passing traffic to disappear than I did walking or retrieving the cache Which is a great thing - its a gorgeous day on a long weekend and great to see everyone out enjoying it. This is a fabulous park and camping area in the wider wellie surrounds I would love to come and camp here someday. TFTC DOC.
Found this one when driving in for a walk around the Kaitoke area. The development of the area especially the camping areas is magnificent and a real credit to the WRC. TFTC
Because this is outside Kaitoke I've never stopped to look for it. However now I've completed my last cache in the park (that I know of!), and seeing as it was still early enough for not many people to be around, it made sense to have a look today. Well it obviously wasn't early enough because I got muggled twice and ended up taking everything back to the car to sign and reassemble! (except my GPS which I left behind on the fence but it's ok - I retrieved it later). All good here - TFTC.
Last find before leaving Wellington and heading over the hill to the Wairarapa. TFTC
Travelling down to Wellington for a few days and stopped the night here at Kaitoke park. Hadn’t planned to spend long here but there was so much to do that we just stayed on. Seen several of these DOC hides. Nice to see some have lasted well. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
I decided to head along here after work to collect some more of these caches, nice quick find here, signed the new log, cheers
The cache was missing. Have replaced at same location with a dual container cache.
From all the DNF from previous attempts I think it is safe to say the cache has gone walk about
Another extensive search and did not find cache owner may need to look into this one
Nothing found after extensive search. Saw a place with covering where it could have been once. Gone perhaps?
My first cache this morning was at Kaitoke, and now I am back, at the end of the day, to get a few more here. A by stander here must have thought this looked quite funny - me on my hands and knees, with a tree attached to my shoulders!
I am tired of my streak. Of getting out and getting just one cache. It gets boring. Or something. So today I headed away from Wellington (away from my store of caches-for-my-streak) to the Wairarapa to get a bunch more. Maybe even ten. Maybe even more! Woohoo!

Quick find here. Quite a bit of activity with people coming and going at the end of a long weekend I guess. Once we got further up we noticed how many people were here. TFTC DOC. There’s always an RG1972 selfie with me acting dodgy.....
Last day of our trip around the lower North Island, and a chance to get a small handful of caches between Greytown and our date with the Wellington ferry. Not too much to report, traffic was busy with the end of a long weekend, and we found the caches we attempted with no issues. Thanks all.

TFTC I collected on my way out after a brilliant morning walking in the bush is light drizzle. The air is so fresh and good today.
Original logbook full, so grateful for the replacement sheet placed by the last finder. TFTC.
Thought I did this one years ago, but showing as not found so did it again. Nice spot. TFTC.
Out and about today in the area
This is a great park and we love riding the Mt bike around here

Was going to get a few caches today but woke up to a slow puncture. Put air in it in Greytown got a few caches. Put air in it in Featherstown. Luckily didn't need much do knew I would get to Upper Hutt. Got a few caches but not as many as I had planned
Leaving Rivendell on our way to Masterton, we were driving past when I noticed a flash of something bright that didn't look very tree-like at all. Asked jgirl1880 to pull over and low and behold, another cache to add to our finds.
Out for the day with Bkj97 and Little Blue Hen we travelled over the Akatarawa Road to Upper Hutt. Then we went to the Kaitoke regional park and found some fantastic caches. All found stamped and returned as we had found it. TFTC
