Have archived, as cache has disappeared due to fire in the area. Kiwi864

DNF maybe due to fire?? But have hunted and unable to locate

No luck, hunted around but fire damage and lack of funds made us carry on

Unsure if cache is still around post fire?

Checked all the posts in the fire area but no luck.

This has melted from fire proberly needs replaced but still here took a while to find and dont know if it where it should be

Found some on the trail. Looked for this one one the way out, and again on the way back but no luck finding it.

Enjoyed a walk with the family, this was the last one for the day. There has been a fire out there and the container has melted a bit but it has survived.

Found on a wee walk along this pathway from the Groynes, our first time along here. It was a bit hot for junior cacher so we decided to make this our turnaround point. Tftc!

It's so nice to know I didn't find it last time simply because it wasn't there. Phew! Today I actually checked that spot twice to get it (& a couple of others too). The thistles have grown up a bit since my last visit - ouchy!

The older cachelets needed to be up at school early. So we had an early start. Mrs TW had everything under control so I headed out with cachelet #3 at 7.40am. I had an idea of how to get here but missed the turn off for my first idea. The second one had to do. We parked up and headed down a 'track' hmm, maybe not the best option. It was wet and also a horse paddock. I threw C #3 up on the shoulders and a friendly horse came and said hello. We got to a fence and we came across a dude working and he told me were we went wrong. We found the right track and headed out to the Issac Loop. We stopped by here as we were passing by.

Almost gave up on this one. Found it at last

Well that's a shame. Had an idea what to look for but no joy. Expanded my search either side without luck. Thought of another type of hide that would fit the hint but nothing.

In the region for a few days work. I had a couple of hours to spare this morning before getting down to it. Last cache for me today. Time to head back to work. TFTC, Biggles.

I came to this one on a very nice walk with my GeoMissus, GeoYoungling #3, and some new cachers, kumachanz. Temperatures were perfect, and we made it all the way to Sawyers Arms and back to the Groynes with everyone in good spirits.
This was our second stop, and we were able to make the wee find!

Took the boys out for a cycle and collected a few caches along the way.

Here in ChCh for a quick visit... while Miss 17 is off at a Gym comp in Hornby I'm out caching looking for high FP's and somewhere to walk... Just been to Kaiapoi collecting the FP's and now working my way back to Hornby. Great track along here - heaps of walkers about today.
Heading back to the car now - walked past this one before but was being followed - so grabbing on the way back. All good here - hidden nicely.

The caches on this walkway have been on my "too lazy" list for too long, and today I decided to tick them off. I started off from the Clearwater end, and was initially a bit confused on where to start... found it eventually... There were a couple of van loads of people who looked like they were doing community service, planting, gardening etc. - but luckily this cache was just far enough away for us to be out of each others way... TFTC (3126)

Ms KR had a training day, so I went for a cruise around Christchurch, catching up on the new caches. Pretty cold to start withbut it did get warmer (relatively) during the day.

#12583. We both needed some finds to get up to 10 for June 30 (I needed 5 and Troodles needed 4) so we went out for a lunch time walk. I'd already scouted out the hides in this area, so the finds were all speedy. TFTC.

Another lunchtime jaunt with StreetWalker to increase our finds number for the day, for a challenge we have set ourselves. The rain radar was clear, but the skies told a different story but we were lucky and apart from a few spits of rain, the weather hold until I was safely in the car .
We parked in the Clearwater Golf Club car park, hoping that we were allowed to do so (there was plenty of room on a weekday) and set off. I hadn't been to this part of Clearwater before and it was a very pleasant walk with very few other people out and about.
As SW's log says, he had already scouted out the area and the caches, so we had no trouble negotiating our way to GZ or finding the cache. TFTC.

I've been impressed by the large number of trees hat have been planted in the area. Quick find.

This took a little bit longer than needed. When you send a kid to check somewhere and they say nothing is there, 5 mins later I look and boom right there.

Boxing day caching trip with the whanau! A lovely day for a nice stroll along, and plenty of caches around!!!

Great to finally tick these off - have been meaning to for quite a while actually! Clear them off the map, as I don't neccessarily want to be coming here for my one a day haha.

A nice walk with the whanau to find the caches along the paths here. Good day for it, sunny, not too hot. Great place to be on a day like this! A lot of effort went into these! TFTC!!

What a surprise we had to find the Gate open,not a soul insight so we drove right up to GZ,and found the wee rascal quickly..TFTH

Walked twice as far as we needed to. It wasn't so hot today so enjoyed the walk and even managed to avoid the sprinklers watering the young plants. TFTC

This was my second visit to Christchurch in as many weeks, a fortnight ago I flew down for the Mega event with my family in tow, this time I was down to attend a conference held at the school of Education. My wife generously agreed to allow me to stay an extra day (and night) to explore the city and do some Geocaching. I made the most of the opportunity and found just over a hundred caches during my visit.
I decided to start my big day with a nice long walk and this area fitted the bill. No problems spotting this one, I made sure I covered it well before I moved on.

Found whilst on another cyclocache ride - why else would one go ride a bike? I think this is now my third cyclocache ride along this track. I wonder when my fourth will be? TFTC.

Surprised - published a couple days ago & still unfound (or unlogged perhaps?). Detoured on the way to work this morning & had a nice wee wander with a quick find and sign with no one else around. A nice developing wee walkway. Cheers.
