Yeah! After a blue frown last week I have turned this one yellow. My phone GPS was not playing ball last week. Thanks membsec for the assist.TFTC.

Male membsec was in the area so checked on the cache and all is good! Yes, there are extra branches down which makes life a little bit difficult to reach the container but otherwise all good.

6 months since last find and evidence of tree fall and branches down in area make me think cache could be missing or alternatively I'm missing something

We only have 3 days left in Tasmania and still have quite a few solved puzzles to collect. Today we set out to clear out the area north of where we are staying. As we made our way around Natone Hill we stopped here for this Trad. Making the final approach to GZ it soon became apparent just what that hint meant. Nice one. Thanks.

A quick find as I too parked very close. But the number of muggles passing was putting me off.
I had spent quite some time at Isaac’s cache and didn’t find that so cut my losses and came here.
One more to find today then home.
Thanks for the cache.

I parked pretty close and stomped my feet loud as I walked the very short distance into the cache.

Today I decided to try and find the last of the Natone hill series and I grabbed this one afterwards. Took a little while for the gpsr to settle but once it did I made a quick find. Interestingly, there was only one other signature in the log book, from January 30. Janet and somebody else I couldn’t read their name have also found it and scribbled a bunch of numbers in the back of the log book, I’m guessing they’re muggles. A nice walk in a part Natone hill that I’ve never been in before. Thanks membsec.

Location was jumping all around so I had no idea if I was in the right spot. I didn't have my gps on me so I lined myself up with the driveways on the map and mad measurements with my fingers on the approximate area. I found quickly after that! Although I'm saturated now as I was silly enough to trek through the wet grass. Oh well! Great hide, tftc. Although the pen currently doesn't work so I couldn't log well into the book. But that's okay

31-Oct-20
When I saw that Tasmania was about to re-open its borders, I made arrangements straight away to fly to Hobart from Adelaide to catch up with family and friends (and of course, to find a few caches).

It turned out that the timing of my visit coincided with a geocaching event at Mayfield Beach and a Community Celebration Event and a CITO at Swansea, so I arranged my plans so I could head up there today.

I noticed that this was an 'anniversary cache', placed 5 years ago today, and it was more or less on my way, so I stopped by. It was a quick find, but I do wonder what the neighbours may have thought if they'd noticed me lingering here in the bush at this early hour.

Thanks membsec for the cache and happy 5th birthday Adalyn!

This was probably my 3 or 4 attempt at this cache today. It was perfect no muggles and my gps on my phone finally settled. It led me straight to the cache and now I feel a little bit silly not being able to find it on previous attempts.

Hi membsec, thanks for the cache and I hope Adalyn is well, she would be around three and a half now I guess and no doubt is loving her Grandparents' attention. All good at the hide today an easy find nice and dry, although the weather was a little damp, but no muggles in the windows across the road or up the street, well not that I saw anyway.

Somehow this evening we found ourselves in the Lindisfarne area at about 9:30pm, well after dark, and with nothing in particular planned. Naturally, we figured we'd have a bit of a go at some night caching.

This was our second cache for the evening, and probably our hardest find. If we were looking during the day, we reckon we probably would have found it within a minute or two. Instead, we ended up stumbling around in the dark, looking all around the place for a good 15 minutes or so. In the end, when we finally discovered the cache's hiding spot, we realised we'd stumbled right past it a couple of times previously, and simply not seen it due to the poor torchlight!

This looks like a potentially quite interesting spot! We'll have to come back during daylight hours some time, and get better acquainted with the area...

TFTC!

And so begins the a "milestone" Birthday Celebration of one half of Membsec [^]
Whilst down from Brisbane for this "secret" celebration we decided, (well I should say IolantheK decided) to gather Mebsec's Tassie Geo-art and their Challenge series Razz

I have have this feeling I've been here sometime before Smile
Container was dry and in good condition [^]

TFTC Membsec we look forward to many more "milestones" to come Cool

25-Nov-18
T-Tech and I flew from Brisbane to Hobart to be part of the milestone birthday of Lady membsec last night [^] It was a great celebration! Today we are attempting to collect all of their Map of Tasmania and YCDIT Challenge caches!

This cache definitely had to be found today [^] I remember Lady membsec's absolute delight to discover she was going to be a granny!!! And it was a great pleasure to finally meet Miss Adalyn at the party last night Big Grin

GZ is a lovely spot to be and I enjoyed the views over Lindisfarne to the river. GPS didn't quite take us up high enough but T-Tech soon spied the right place, and made the find. Then we drove out to the end of the road, just because! TFTC, membsec.

19-Nov-18
Nice real estate locations hereabouts. Nice quiet street, but a few muggles exercising with dogs and doing nutty things like running on a 26 deg. day ! !
This one should not stump too many.

12-Nov-18
I came here to log a trig and when I parked I was pleased to also find this cache. I picked up the TB ' Just been mini'd'. Some nice wild-flowers seen on the walk up the hill. The contents of the cache are damp. TFTC membsec.

I almost walked away from this one! TB left for the next find...

19-Jul-18
Our GPS was jumping all over the place! After a half hour of searching we had given up and, thankfully, as we walked back down the hill toward the road we saw it! Relief! Picked up one TB to move on, the other one not in cache.

Hi there membsec.

We found your cache **"Adalyn's Cache"** at 10:21:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18804).

Today we decided to cache around Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes. Our cache count was 5 caches today, with 0 DNF's.

We managed to park on the side of the road right next to the cache after our GPS tried to take us up a few wrong streets and walking tracks.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Quick find after muggles passed.

25-Sep-17
After travelling up the steep little road to this one we found somewhere suitable to park the van and then made the 10 m walk to this one. Despite the area being burnt out, and fairly recently too by the smell, the cache was in excellent condition.
Thanks for the cache and congratulations on the birth of you granddaughter.
