Nice easy find for the little cacher.Tftc

Road construction workers are currently using this site as a base for their road equipment. It is not fenced and out of hours would be the ideal time to visitHowever, we worked around this, while out here and parked away from the action via Speewa Rd. and Mr Riddell made the short distance easily on foot without any issues.See our found it log for a photo of the activity nearby.

Couldn't access cache notes due to poor mobile connectivity. GPS location spot on. Overcast, windy, drizzly. First cache in a long time. TFTC.

I had a few days leave so Mrs JTreeTrack2 and I decided to pack up the car and head off to where it is slightly warmer (than Ballarat). So North to the Murray River, Swan Hill and Mildura then home through the Wimmera. What is a trip without some caching, so some caching we did, not heaps but enough to leave some more smiley faces dotted on some new parts of the Map.
A little walk past the paddock, thankfully not all of the long paddock. Cache signed and returned as found.
The Cache is happy and healthy.
Thanks for the Cache Hercs&pinky

A plan was devised by Phetlern and Suscoe to do a caching trip around Swan Hill.
Geoturtle37, Papi4506 and ourselves were invited to go along.
Day 3. A lap from Swan Hill to the country side and back again.
Unless otherwise stated - all good here.
All caches signed as the 'B Team', 'DGP' or 'The Drovers'. Replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Hercs&pinky, and for Phetlern & Suscoe for the invite.

Geoturtle37 and I are having a great time caching with The Drovers, Suscoe and Phetlern in and around the Swan Hill area. Phetlern made short work of finding this cache. Signed and returned as found. Thank you for placing the cache for us to find.

Our time in Swan Hill continues, with great weather and great friends - The Drovers, Suscoe, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506. Today we headed north east from S.H. had fun finding a good number of caches.
Once again, to maximise the space on cache logs for future cachers, we logged our visit as "B Team"

Thanks to the Owner for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Great little find. Very creative too. After moving sheep along this stock route for many years it’s funny to think this has been here some of them.

As we approached GZ the flies seemed to get even worse and a very strong smell was evident. Right at GZ there was a recently dead dog. It was a large dog, which seemed to have been in good condition, but it was very dead. We braved the odour to find the cache, which was easily found. Bunadoorian, Grub62 and I signed the log and left everything as found. It wasn’t the most appealing cache we found today!

07-Mar-20
Out with Bunadoorian and Surefoot24 we found this cache fairly easily- unfortunately the flies from the dead dog made signing the log interesting. TFTC Hercs&Pinky.

This cache was found in good condition and as per the description to the delightful scents of someone's dead pet? TFTC.

Suscoe was enjoying our last day in Swan Hill and we decided to do a lap out through Nyah and back down to Swan Hill via NSW.
It was a stunning day with warm temperatures and sunny skies.
We were enjoying the changing nature of the countryside as we went from orchards to grazing to salt pans to the river forests and everything in between.

Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, nice to be out here enjoying the spaces.
A favourite from us.

After having lots of DNFs in town I decided to head out for a drive with hubby and the kids hoping to get some easier finds. Great coords here made for an easy find. Love the story of the long paddock. And the tree's etching make this cache even more special. Many thanks for the cache.

With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 3. After a cockatoo filled night at Chah Singh Reserve we headed further towards Swan Hill, via the Wakool River and Toolybuc. We after a dash to the outskirts of Swan Hill we ended up camping near Nyah on the Murray River, no cockatoos this time. We saw four herds of cows on this four day trip, one is unusual enough.

Thanks.

15,146. Found during a long weekend run down through the Lockhart, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moulamien, Tooleybuc and Nyah regions with Albida33.

After camping down by the river near the cache Chah Singh last night, we packed up and continued along our planned caching trail. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !

In Swan Hill for an event with Mrs. Aussie M&M and mogni. To save space, we simply put our group stamp of GOTHS (Geocachers Of The HillS) in the logs. Cool After chalking up 5 DNF's in Swan Hill we decided to try our luck over the border. [:o)] (we did have 23 finds also so far)
Success at our very first stop. A quick find on a well constructed hide. And something other than a micro, nano or even smaller for a change. Smile Thanks so much for a nice cache in picturesque location. A FP from me.
Thanks Hercs&pincy for the cache. Big Grin

So I traveled from Mount Gambier to attend an event on the Sunday, but with that much driving I hoped to grab a whole lot more. This is a tough town to geocache in.
Cache hunting with Aussie M & M and brisal5....
We really enjoyed finding this one after so many nanos.
Thanks

My favourite cache of the day. You took us to a lovely spot, we got a little walk and the cache had some uniqueness about it. Sometimes a simple cache in a nice spot is just what we need. Not all the nanos and micros in Swan Hill, this 1.5/1.5 is my favourite today. Thanks

All ok and ready to be found again

#5868 - 16:35; Day 1 of the Melbourne Mega Mission with Sol de lune and taking the scenic route from Canberra to Anglesea via Balranald so we can collect a few GCA Burke & Wills caches along the way. We were still headed south along the Stony Crossing Road towards Swan Hill collecting the COs caches. Made the find okay in the end and quickly on our way. TFTC Hercs&pinky Smile

Grabbed with LuckyL10n as we made our way to the Surf Coast Mega event in Anglesea....

Found during our stay in Swan Hill for a few days. I walked from the side road up to GZ. Checked the obvious spot, no luck. Checked the next spot, no luck.
I rechecked the first spot & found a decoy. So, I rechecked the other spot a bit more carefully and came up with the goods. [^] SL TNLN TFTC

You beauty, a FTF, We like finding virgin log-books. Thanks Hercs & Pinky fro bringing us to this spot. Our GPS was all over the place, originally it had us in the crop paddock, and we thought, no, it can't be in there. Thought the only place it could be was where it eventually was hidden. Great cammo, loved the idea, a little bit sneaky, but good fun in the end. TFTC. Left a loom-band.
