No luck today 4 eyes and nothing to be found.

DAY SUX (27/10). The weather has turned a little less rainy and the wind has dropped off a little. By the afternoon it had become a very pleasant day to cache and our team was playing catch up. The lost time saw us madly racing around and sourcing caches that we missed previously, yep it is going to be a big day.For the next two days the plan is to finish the rest of aeroplane and albatross, to get and make a start on the dts. Oh and then there is the old caches and some whereigos and multis ... OH so much to do. Plus we have to fit in some events, there is no time for food, lucky its still daylight till 8.30pm.Thanks to the COs for all the caches we found today. It was a great day and all caches were replaced as found.

After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. ?? The first real day of caching for this flying mega trip with Nanzie. Sorry for the cut and paste logs in most cases, it's hard to keep track with which one is which when you are driving as well. Logs were signed as PC & N or vice versa. Thanks Hall-way#17412

Day eleven of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Today we spent around Dunedin.We spent the morning doing some of the Plane Geo Art, had lunch at Outram, then returned to the city to do some of the older caches, with a few others in between.Finished the day with the event, and Indian take away.I think the highlights were the ones on Allanton - Scroggs Hill Road, the views were spectacular.No trouble in this location. Day 11 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and our second full day in Dunedin.Our intention was to target the Plane series and hopefully find at least half of them before the hoards and the rains arrive. What an incredible day it was. This morning Kittykatch, Joolay, barb2e and I cached our way to the airport. Here we met up with Binliner to attack the Plane/Jet series, which we had solved before leaving Australia. We found every cache that we tried for, and this was one. The logs were all signed CCD (Canberra Cachers Dunedin). Unfortunately a couple of us forgot what day it was and used the incorrect date for a while, but once we woke up (literally) that error was corrected. A huge thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches. You add so much to our game. ??

We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made. Hunted a few option before the correct one was chosen. TFTC

Day dawned fine and dry after some rain through the night so was looking good for our plans for the day. A great morning spent collecting all our solved puzzles for the plane. Started at the airport with Smittengranny after meeting Binliner off his flight and then we teamed up with Joolay and Kittykatch. Had no problems with most of the finds and certainly enjoyed a few stops at the Outram cafe. Caches signed as CCD for Canberra Cachers Dunedin. Thanks for all the caches in this Geoart and the extras we collected while on the roads.

We are on our way from the airport, and as maplerosenz's flight came in an hour after mine, it looks loike we might be following somebody who was on my flight. This means not only are we following geotrails to the caches, but we also have car tracks to follow to parking spots.There were a couple of likely spots, but maplerosenz soon saw the cable ties and retrieved the cache.

Back home in Taranaki after a massive 5 days at the Dunedin Mega with MrMuggleNZ and its time to start logging my findsall 226 of themso wish me luck. Only 2 DNFs the whole time we were here so thats a testament to the dedication of the local cache owners and their maintenance prior to this event. Found this one after we read the hint properly..Thanks for placing Hall-way

Found with NZDi on our southern adventure heading for the Geo Toroa. Earlier in the year a group of us Blenheim cachers started solving puzzles around the area in preparation for this weekends Mega. The aircraft geo-art was part of that project. Today, with NZDi as driver and recorder and myself as navigator, we made the attempt to clear them out. We started out just before 10.00am with a DNF at #58 which didn't bode well for our mission. We finished all we could around 5.00pm. We are logging in the order the caches were signed. Caches weresigned in full or abbreviated to ND + KM as space would allow. We noted other cachers who logged today and even met up with others (twice). We were impressed with the accurate coordinates, the helpful hints (where given) and the well maintained caches. These logs are going to be pretty generic but I'll try to comment on some of the more memorable caches where appropriate.This was another of the few non-geo-art caches that we stopped for today. FINALLY, and with humble apologies for being so late, I am catching up on my logging. On the day I was thinking too much about having just found my 10,000th cache.Day 4 of The Wellingtonians are in Dunedin tour with TwigNZ, Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020 and matagouri, as well as TaybeeNZ who decided to have a few days of his South Island tour with us. We are targeting specific caches -oldies, wherigos (thanks to the Seagnoids new caches on the Wainuiomata Hill road in Lower Hutt), a certain jet and hopefully a certain bird. Of course, there will be days of laughter, no doubt at my expense .During our time here, all found caches were signed as MINT, regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 5 of us hadn't found it previously, or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Hall-way.

Out and about on day 10 of my South Island Tour and day 4 of "Wellingtonions Gone South: Dunedin Edition" with NZ_B, TwigNZ, Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020 and matagouri. The target of this day was cleaning up the plane. All logs signed as MINT. TFTC

A group of friends have traveled together to Dunedin to collectively target a whole bunch of caches, primarily because of their value in terms of Jasmer Grid filling, or for certain Challenge Caches that we have elected to try to achieve.M.M.I.N.T.T are Mr-Mcgoo, matagouri, Itchyfeet2020, NZ_B, taybee nz and TwigNZ. Some logs were signed this way, some were signed as M.I.N.T for expediency, and some (mainly Challenge Caches) were signed with individual names.Day 4, our last day before heading home this evening, and the main focus of our day would be hitting the Plane geoart series. We had no idea whether we would get to complete it today, but having met the CO for a drink last night we hoped we would. Doing that would bring us in the vicinity of other caches such as this one, and we thought it would be rude if we didn't stop to find these too.This was effectively a quick park 'n' grab. No problems here, so everything was replaced as found once our team name was added to the log.Thank you for putting out this cache for all to find.

Day 4 of the Wellywood Adventure to Dunedin. The trip had been in the planning for a while - especially to get Sutton Lake, the Old School Challenge and other personal goals. The backup plan had always been - "lets get the plane solved in case we have time". Today was that day including others on our way such as this one. TFTC Hall-way. All caches signed as Team M.I.N.T.

We have come to camp at Mosgiel and find some solved Airplane geoart. Had to stop for trads too. A dry spell this afternoon so coffee made and away we went. This is a very clever hide and we looked in many black holes. Mrs C made the find her and very chuffed. Thanks for this cache Hall-way.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ, KiwiChris and Mrs KiwiChris after lunch in Mosgiel as we attempt to find as many of the new airplane geoart as possible on a warm and sunny Dunedin day.
Another trad that got included in our geoart pursuit. Not a quick find as the GPsrs were all over the show and there were quite a few places to hide a cache. SW's eagle eye spotted the tethering item and soon we were signing the log book. Watch out for the dead bird near GZ. TFTC.

#20646. Might have walked on to this one while the paperwork was completed at the previous find (did that for a few today). Lots of potential hiding places, and I had to check a few before locating the cache. TFTC.

Heading back to Invercargill today with time for a detour to pick up some green dots slightly off the main route back south. Pleased to see some different areas and find some more smiles.

Took awhile to come back to this cache. Glad it was an easier find this time. TFTC

I got burned at this cache a few years ago when once again the cache had gone missing, disrupting the clean sweep I had been caching of the Strath Taieri on a push north of the line from Southland. Rolled up to the usual parking spot, yep had stopped a couple of times that week and walked it down to where the numbers were taking me. Looked at one place before the shiny was spotted at the right angle. Yep I definitely looked in there last time. Cache was extracted to sign the log and returned to the hollow place. I removed the remains of the original bison ring before hopping down to the road. Got the new torch out to spy in the hollow and space down below but didn't spot the broken part of the old cache. Some ABC's picked up the last times I was here were collected for fund raising but I must have picked up the only ones there. Thanks for replacing the cache again, it took me to an area long forgotten when the outlaw lived nearby. *Ding dong the witch is dead*.

Spent ages looking, must have searched every tree and looked in every tree, so like the other three people looking I can only say I didn't find it, sad cause it was a horrible day

Spent time looking but couldn't find

Had missed loading this cache in the PQ for some reason. What I thought was a mix-up in the similar named caches, (the other hollow cache was found in good condition after a recent replacement?? signing a new logbook). But after reloading the cache, the co'ods had me at the rightly place with enough room to park off the road. After searching some likely hollows near and far, climbing up to one good place and with torches in the hope of spotting anything resembling a cache or the zippy tie, I went further along the tree rows than I needed to for a recently found cache. I did not spot anything cache like and while thinking of micro in size I would not have missed spotting the larger 'small' cache.

Took me a while to spot this one bit got it. When I put it back, exactly as and where going, however, there were some clunking sounds as it disappeared from view... along with the hint item!!! Seems that hollow is more of a hole! I only gently pushed it back with my pen...

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 12 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I Had parked my snail shell up at the Showgrounds in Mosgiel.

I had a little bit of trouble in locating this one but got there in the end.
