01-Nov-24
On our Gold and Sunshine Coast holiday and decided to stop at what was an interesting oppportunity for a cache. If it wasnt for this cache we wouldnt have ever known about the historical land mark sitting in plain site at a well utilised public transport facility. Thanks dickbev for giving us a reason to stop. TFTC

28-Oct-24
Cool container. Thanks for the great cache.

20-Oct-24
I was on a mission to grab some traditional numbers for a challenge I am actively working on - with a deadline. So a morning was organised with Gcoven to catch up and hunt some numbers. I did a search for caches that neither of us had found and werent too far away and we landed up in this area. Without too much of a plan we headed up picking of the caches as we came across them on the map. Had success with all bar one and even managed to find a few that had the last find was a DNF - normally on a numbers run I would have excluded those, so it was pleasing that we were able to find them. Also managed to find two rock wall caches - I should buy my lotto ticket now. All in all a very good and successful morning that reduces my needed numbers by a decent amount

20-Oct-24
Both of us had been unsuccessful here in the past. Today I took note of the meticulous search comment from a previous log and after a few pokes, located it! A very interesting location indeed. Tftc

14-Sep-24
After having some dinner for date night we thought we would knock off some caches before training it home. This one had us stumped, but persistence was key and we had this sneaky cache in about 15 minutes - well done!

15-Sep-23
A very tricky hide which took us some time to find. The cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks Dickbev for placing this wonderful cache.

15-Sep-23
After scratching around for 10 mins eventually a finger was laid on the cache - tricky hide indeed will need to return with an appropriate TOTT in order to sign the log - thanks for placing and maintaining the cache

15-Sep-23
Disabling the cache as it has been returned incorrectly which makes it virtually impossible to retrieve, will fix soon.

14-Sep-23
Note to self: cache is not hidden in a nang canister.

Had a pretty solid half-hour look, but then muggles started showing up in droves with the commuter traffic, forcing me to retreat. I will be back to Landsborough station, however, and with that will come attempt two B)

30-Aug-23
After a Big Day at Australia Zoo the Bus dropped us back at the station, so we couldn't resist finding this cache as it was so close. Took a bit to find it and if it was in any further we might night have been able to get it but all good in the end.

23-Aug-23
While waiting for the Uber to bring us to the coast, I saw a good opportunity to find this one. It took a while although I recognized the best hiding spot immediately (actually second hiding spot, but this was one was better for a micro). The muggles were irritating, but in the end landed the cache. Thanks from the Netherlands for the story (never would have looked at the plaque) and the maintenance.

16-Aug-23
Find 12 of 40 on a full day of caching, driving down from Maleny on the old road into Landsborough, then getting the bikes out for a 30km ride around Landsborough and down to Beerwah and back, then driving back up via Peachester picking off as many caches as we could on the way. An excellent day out with some brilliantly constructed caches to enjoy.

Not sure about the previous logs. Cache was in a good spot, fully intact and the only written log since replacement was by noelwas. Happy to extract this one and not make it harder!

TFTC dickbev!

07-Aug-23
Found after muggles had discarded the log nearby. Placed in a likely spot closest to my GPS reading. I missed a wonderful opportunity to meet the cache owner as I was traveling with my son who was taking time away from his business to pick up parts.

26-Jul-23
We had just had lunch over in the pub then come over to look at the bomb shelter, Wow a train tooted it’s whistle just as I found it and scared the shit out of me. TFT unusual Cache.

22-Jul-23
Headed out and about with the Slow Punctures today. The plan didn't go to plan, which was good, because we had a great time despite the plan!!! This was one of many caches grabbed on the drive from Brisbane to Landsborough to Maleny and on to Mooloolah and back home. Epic day, and thanks for making it better by providing some caches to find!

22-Jul-23
Thanks

21-May-23
Out and about with MummaBear & the cubs exploring the wonders of the Sunny Coast and surrounding areas.

The goal for the day was to work towards this months challenge, so the main focus was to find caches with high favourite points and any others we’d come across.

We had a great day out and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon as we’re not even close to completing this months challenge.

Thanks for bringing us here.

Since I was coming up the coast on my motorcycle, I met up Duppers and jumped in her geo-car for a few caches today.

We decided to hit a few around Landsborough before I headed off as I was up to visit family in Aura.

A quick find in a likely spot.

This morning, Shazzar66 was coming up to the Sunny Coast to visit some relo’s, so we decided to meet up to do some Ewen Maddock Dam caches. Because she was riding her motorbike up the highway, we decided to meet at Landsborough and just take my car, so that she wouldn’t need to take her bike on the dirt roads.

Shazzar66 only had her motorbike boots, however, which weren’t particularly suited to bushwalking, so we decided to find some nearby caches instead.

Being close by, after we stopped for coffee, this was our first find of the day. It didn’t take us too long to find. The log was signed and we were off to the next one. Interesting spot here, dickbev. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. TFTC

Searched high and low along the obvious places and not so obvious places. Read the hints, read the logs but nothing helped.

19-Mar-23
Hahaha clever very clever. After reading some extra clues it was located easily. The mirror clue was gold. Tftc

19-Mar-23
We're just about to give up on this one didn't want to look too obvious with 3 of us searching, saw somebody said they used a mirror and knew my hunch was right, I'd checked but missed it. Girlfriend went for one last look using front of phone camera as a mirror, 30 seconds and bam there it is.

Any further then 2nd space away from the wall and your too far

19-Mar-23
Found it, very clever spot

27-Dec-22
After crossing through the rather confusing intersection nearby and waiting out the rain in the car, I came out to find this one. I was expecting it to be quite difficult, but for me it was a short systematic search. Log signed and replaced as found, thanks for the cache dickbev!

17-Jul-22
Today, the plan was a kayak paddle on Lake Baroon to attend the *Leisurely Obi Obi Paddle* event. The weather turned out great (quite eerie in the morning), and we had a friendly group of 15 kayakers who paddled Lake Baroon and down Obi Obi Creek.
Following the event/paddle, I took a walk around Maleny before grabbing lunch at its award-winning bakery. I then spent the last few hours of my afternoon visiting a few oldies in the area and darting around a few lookout spots, before then returning home via Mount Mellum, Skippy Park, and Beerwah where I completed the *Beerwah.* Adventure Lab.

I was running slightly ahead of time for my destination, and reading ahead, it looked like this cache may not take too long to find. Famous last words! The structure was pretty cool and interesting to read the plaque, and then my attention turned to the cache. I certainly would not have said it was an easy find, and I probably spent 5-10 minutes searching around. Even when I narrowed down the likely hiding technique, the cache wasn't in the most logical spot, requiring trial and error before eventually coming across it. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Interestingly, there seemed to be a discrepancy between those who have logged this cache online, and the logbook? Thanks dickbev for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

10-Jul-22
Not to hard to find tftc

16-Jun-22
TFTC. A nice quick find when I put my thinking cap on. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley and staying at Beerwah. Here to visit relatives. An interesting site.

10-Apr-22
Came back for a second thorough look today after failing to find the cache the first time. But as to my surprise I still couldn't find it. I checked all simple and even some harder spots but still came back with nothing. Would definitely check out this cache to see it it is still here

08-Apr-22
Possibly stolen as found on old geochache account and no longer there

31-Mar-22
With fng_affl, and had to resort to a mirror, aha there it is, but then had to grab another TOTT, to extract the cache, which had been returned up, more than needed all is in good condition here today, Thanks dickbev

31-Mar-22
Out today to keep some caches to help with my "Hidden Dates" challenge.
This is cache 4 for the day.
I think I might have gotten the old version of this... Not sure.
Anyway, walked in, avoiding the garden as per the clues.
Looked at the plaque and got my hit of history for the morning.
Looked in all the obvious places. Nope.
Started on the not so obvious, and there it is.
Log is in excellent condition. Noe has my name in it. And back to its hiding spot.

20-Feb-22
Thanks

09-Feb-22
Tried twice this morning but no find. Cycle touring east now. Tftc even though unfounded.

24-Jan-22
It's customary every school holiday to make a trip to the Maleny Dairies for some delicious ice cream. We'd filled up on ice cream, had a walk and on the way home, we swung by for this cache.

Once at GZ, I had a good idea of where the cache could be but stopped one potential hidey spot before where the geomonsters picked up the search. A team effort.

Thanks!!

Second time visiting... sister from charters towers travelled here and was the one to help me find it... super hard to find but definitely keep looking on where you think it may be... need to feel around

19-Dec-21
Took awhile to find. But trust your finger tips and you will find it.

25-Oct-21
Finding it was the easy part. Working out how to open it with only a few hours of sleep was the hard part. I had hoped to find this yesterday but as the sunset i had to prioritise finding somewhere to safely free camp with my bike. I came back this morning to grab it before riding on.
