Day 3 of Tufty's and BaldEd's mission to 'cache out' all the geocaches between Kurow and Duntroon. After camping the night at the lovely Duntroon Domain Campground we motored our way up to the Maori Rock Drawing's car park and then hopped on our bikes and rode up the A2O cycleway to the Otekaieke River before commencing to cache our way back to Duntroon.Terrain looked to dodgy to go searching for this one. GZ seems to be well off the track and in a perilous position! Definitely not a T1.5!
Mr Juju on fire today - found this one after a good search, nearly a year after the last find! All good with the cache.
Quickly found. The approaching front is going to stop the A2O tour for me very soon.
Today cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
The second one revealed the cache. We were supposed to be going on a tiki tour of Northland. However, level 3 in that area changed our plans.
So JDScout and I are doing a loop trip with our camper van. From Christchurch to Ross to Fox to Lake Hawea to Kurow and back home.
To add extra excitement to our trip we are geocaching too. Thanks for hiding this cache hill55 I appreciate it.

Day 3 of my Geotour. TMGT goals complete. Time to get out of the car (yay) and go for a ride. I made this trickier than I needed to, although in my defence the GPS didn’t quite point me to the right place. TFTC
As I approached I ended up been directed by my Garmin past what I thought was the object that fitted the title. Soon ended up at something that I didn't notice while passing on my way out. Soon had it located. Thanks for placing.
Cycling the trails so only stopping to grab a few caches on the way. Like someone else has hinted. It’s not the closest item the hint suggests. TFTC!!!
Out and about collecting smileys and this one qualifying me for one of the wonders of the world souvenirs TFTC
Another cache along the A2O trail that I can't really remember too well. I was probably 4 minutes behind my companions on this day; they had pressed ahead with the cycling, but I was stopping to find caches. Some caches eluded me, and I didn't have enough time to spend for an intensive search.
Thus, I was happy to have found this one. I seem to remember a particular feature, but I may be confusing it with another cache. Anyway, I logged it on my GPSr at the time, so I must have had a successful find on that day.

Difficult to locate natural camo very thick ..signed and replaced as found ..thanks
There were plenty of places to look for this one. We narrowed it down to one area. Soon unearthed the well covered cache. Thanks for bringing us here hill55
Out on a day trip heading south to find some caches in the Waitaki Valley, (push bike onboard). It was a lovely day and with a high success rate enjoyable as well. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches and sorry about the cut and paste.
Today was the day for the ride down the A2O from Kurow to Duntroon. Looked but never saw anything. This portion of the A2O is turning into a bit of a caching disaster.
Found while on a weekend leave pass with Karma Reprint, heading up and down the Waitaki Valley with a few bike rides and wanders on the way. Not much water in here now days. Cheers
A quick find, and KM had to find all the pens etc that fell out his top pocket as he bent to replace the cache! Cheers
Off on a caching weekend with Kiwi Moose, to the Waitaki and slightly beyond. Great weather, great place to be, great company, and more than a few little plastic boxes.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Found while enjoying a sunny day in North Otago caching with Miss EU and drawp. Great cycle trails, made for some fun caching. TFTC
Coords were a bit out here - the wrong side of the path for me - but the hide was obvious. Thanks.
Sunday drive/bike/walk around the lower waitaki to get some more smiles
made that one harder than it should have been had to have a second look before I put my hand on it tftc

A great trip away with tmann421.
Out on the bikes today and really enjoyed the cycle trails in the area. The weather held for us and most were quick finds along the way.
Really enjoyed the beautiful coastline. TFTC

Decided to ride some of the A2O track this morning. Makes it more interesting with a few caches along the way. TFTC
I convinced Sunroller to accompany me on a tour of the caches around Duntroon, Earthquakes and other parts on the way to Kurow. We had a ball.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
A lot of new installation along the track and I suppose realignment has meant this is now not used.
Thanks

*FTF* Mrs d had this one in hand without the need of the GPS. Recent changes in farming practices have obviously made this structure redundant. Coords and cache all good. TFTC
