Now this was a narrow lane so we parked downhill, possible in a driveway. Clue was clear - it was a very big xxxx with some obvious burrowing below it. Snatched the cache and away we went TYFTC

What a treeet. Good hide

Staying at Bong Bong Picnic Race Club in our caravan. So out today to find a couple of GCA trig caches and traditional GC caches.
Successful day. All targets found. No DNFs.
Thanks to all cache owners.

Wow, some busy wombat! It appears that the local farmer even had to clear the dirt off the road.

26-Aug-18
Now that is one hell of a wombat hole. Found with Justjessie on an impromptu caching weekend. TFTC.

Scenic little lane. Quick hop up and sign. Cache all good. Tftc

12-Nov-17
This country lane reminded us of England! All that was needed was to be stuck behind a caravan and a then a tractor come the other way! Oh...and rain, wind and cold. TFTC!

Ticking this one off the list.

12-Apr-17
Nice quick find no wombat spotted but i nearly fell down the hole thanks for the cache

29-Mar-17
What a huge wombat hole near GZ! Must breed them big in the highlands... Lovely area. It is curious how the sugarloaf has never been cleared. I suppose that the geology is such that the growth covers mainly rock rather than arable soil. Thanks for the hide. Log only.

13-Mar-17
Red sticky stuff at hole entrance; don't think it was blood though. TFTC.

11-Mar-17
Certainly a narrow road. Fortunately, no one came along whilst we were there. TFTC

04-Mar-17
Tftc. Love the tree!

12907. Found with minniek during a caching run around the general area after the Wingello Event.

After attending the Event we headed off towards the Moss Vale/Robertson area for a days caching. After finding the 10 Forgotten Australians Puzzle caches we continued on for a few more. We parked near GZ for a nice quick find. Log signed, cache returned, and we headed off to the next one.

Thanks again Throsbyonchurch !! That was a fun retrieval !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Fitzy_1965 and I headed out early from Goulburn to make an event near Wingello before continuing to the Robertson area for a day of caching. Parked nearby and cache found quickly. TFTC. Definitely said sugar when I hit my head

This was one of the few caches today that actually got my reluctant family out of the car, they were fascinated with the wombat hole and wanted to know if there was a wombat inside...

24-Dec-16
I had some troubles finding this cache,I started thinking "aahh sugar its gone",but how?
Then a good scratch around I finally unearthed the cache from down deep, cleaned the cache and left it covered on the surface.
Merry Christmas Throsbyonchurch

Found with Ticktock19. Such a pretty little country lane. Timed it well without bumping into anyone. TFTC! Haven't done much caching recently so it's nice to have some quick park and grabs to ease back into it.

I bet it is a big wombat that lives down this hole.

I was in Robo this morning when I decided I'd look for the Mighty Nepean only to discover the access road was for locals only, albeit temporarily. So kept on driving to eventually arrive in Kangaloon, where I visited one of my waymarks, found two Geocaching Australia locationless & perhaps another Waymark. Standing next to a street sign on the ground I switched the Magellan to geocaching & this one was 600 metres away. Not knowing whether the road was sealed all the way & recalling that Robo had the highest rainfall in the state over the weekend, decided to do a uee. Refuelled at the best value servo about & then back home via Pearsons Lane. Sweet country. I'll look for it when the country dries out. Thanks.

Quick find on a windy day. Nice quiet laneway here. TFTC!

Found it, thanks for the cache.

Dusk is over and the night is becoming magical, what with hidden roads, misty mountains, and that all annoying fine drizzle of rain the highlands can be famous for. Last find of the day, dropped off TB, picked up TB. TFTC!

Had a great day geo caching with Happy Uke. Bagged a heap.

Thanks!

16-Apr-16
I finally figured out how to do lists on geocaching.com then transfer them to my tablet. So put in the Rainbow Road series and a few more to loop me back around towards home. Still have a couple of things to iron out...wouldn't let me see the clues I needed to finish the multi #9 Princess Peach or #10 Mario...but all-in-all, Finalf29 and I had a wonderful afternoon. We got sixteen from sixteen...netting the last in failing light and rain.

This was my fifteenth for the day. The lane is so narrow, Finalf29 dropped me off to turn the car around and I was just finishing the logging duties by torchlight when he returned. Wow that is one big wombat hole! Thanks

A nice big hiding area. My bro was a bit scared of a big animal piping out at him. Then my phone message tone sounded. .. a werewolf howl. He was really convinced.
Thanks for the cache.
Left a tb.

Found this cache at 10.30am while out trying to pick a few new caches in this area. There are such beautiful lanes and some magnificent trees along this road.
Thanks Throsbyonchurch for the hide and bringing us this way

We loved exploring these lanes, some not even on the Tom Tom. I made the short up hill scramble and located the cache, thanks.

22-Feb-16
Great view from this quiet lane; the birdlife (parrots?) and colours were very exotic. TFTC

Was just laughing and giggling thinking about the Rats turning up here with a massive caravan! Great cache location, tricky parking.

Sorry for the late log but having spent the weekend in Kangaroo Valley Dad wanted to grab this cache on the way home, that part was easy.
Getting out of this laneway with the van on proved a little harder but he found a driveway and we were able to turn the van and us around.
Thanks

26-Jan-16
Spent the Australia Day weekend down in Kangaroo Valley and it wouldn't be a weekend away without getting a few caches. Mizmaz had told me of this cache over the weekend so as we headed for home we detoured via here.
Note to self.... dont go down this road with the caravan on the back in future. Getting the cache was easy, turning around with the van on was a task that took a little longer.
Thanks

I was only down here a few months ago exploring, but came back today for the cache. Not easy to see the sugarloaf today, but found the cache after a few minutes (after first checking out a suspected "cacher trail"). Nice and dry under the tree.

Thanks

Found the cache while Pacmania was checking in more adventurous spots.

25-Jan-16
Found with Pacmania. Thanks

23-Jan-16
Found this morning for Juno. Spotted a likely spot on the way down the hill, did a U-turn and managed to squeeze into a parking spot 2m from GZ. A quick find in the rain and we were back on our way.

Cheers

Not sure whether I was more excited about ticking one of my few remaining days off the calendar or heading to my first camping experience but either way, both put me in the area to find this new release. Hitting fog coming up the Pass and then heavy rain by the time I reached GZ, I was getting less excited about the camping and frustrated with the find when co-ords kept taking me to the wrong side of the road (from four different sources). About to get thoroughly soaked, I ignored the arrow and kept concentrating on the obvious clue but, again misled by the D/T rating, made it harder than it needed to be for what was in the end, an easy find. Maybe I should have talked less about this aspect and more about the narrow lane/parking options when I mentioned the new hide to Rats who I knew would later be trying it with a caravan (see log above). Oops, sorry Twisted

We weren't close enough for a ftf but not that far off either. I can imagine what it must have been like with three people all converging on GZ at the same time. Had we been closer when it hit the radar screen I'm sure the scene would have been hilarious pandemonium. As it is, it feels odd to claim STF when there's five in front of you (let's not forget Bob the minion, whoever he is Wink Great fun, and thanks for the cache.

Hanging around home and my phone goes "ping' to tell me a new cache has just been published. Bonus! Its just up the road. Housework abandoned and myself and Bob the Minion clamber into the ute to grab it. Who should we meet arriving at the same time - Muppet95!
So we searched high and low, had t move the cars to allow local traffic thru and back to searching. Bob pointed out a spot and after poking around with a stick - there she was!!
How awesome! Blank log book and my very first FTF!!!
Thanks TOC for the cache and nice to catch up with Muppet again.
Just as we were leaving the area, we passed J+J.au arriving!
PS: As we are in Australia, the publication date comes up as the day before (because Geocaching.com is American based) so we actually found it within minutes of it being published!

21-Jan-16
After coming from the other nearby newly published cache, I was followed down Sugarloaf lane by what looked like a residents ute. Instead of pulling over, I followed the road 50m past GZ for a driveway to turn around on. Turns out the ute was Stumble's Mates', who had pulled over on GZ.

A joint search high and low had us overthinking the hide.
Eventually Stumble's Mate (or Bob the Minion) found the hide to a "Found" cheer.
Signed the log, and returned to the car, to be met my J+J.au again Smile
Community cachers with a free morning it seems hahaha

I think we were claiming this as a joint FTF as we searched together, but in all honesty, Stumble's Mate pulled up at GZ first and spotted the container, so either/or a smiley is a smiley

Thanks for fun morning,
TFTC

It appears this lane way is quite a bit busy today.. More so than normal.. Geocaches are about !! Stumblemate just leaving and Muppet is ther also. Cache duties done and another bit of chit chat done before going back home to help out with the yards. TFTC

About an hour away when this one was published, so on our way home we stopped to grab this one.
A lovely quiet lane while we were there and very nice hide, knew where it most likely was, just a matter of finding it lol
Ah ha there is the sneaky little devil!
