found pencil but not cache until closer inspection, not where we thought it would be!
A straightforward though rather exposed and uncomfortable find. Cache in good order. TFTC.
Initially thought it had been muggled but then suspected the pencil may have been a decoy. TFTC
Second cache for the day - out on a road trip to Cambridge, haven't been over here for awhile and it is amazing all the new housing happening. Couldn't find this cache to start and had gone back to the car and reread logs. It had only just been found so I went back for another look - aha just managed to see it. Hopefully it wont be so hard for the next cacher TFTC
Found a pen on the ground but not cache. A neighbour confirmed where it was meant to be.
Was just lying out in the open so have put it back where I thought it is meant to be. No log & I didn't have anything with me. Left a Lisa TB. Safe travels to her. TFTC
Very public area, however managed to find it. Logbook to damp but able to be written in
Thanks Tarmaroo!
Went to have lunch with some friends who have just moved to Leamington....and guess what...a geocache was right by their shared drive !
As we had lunch we were able to watch the folk hard out playing polo ! Had to watch out for the odd ball flying over the fence !
A first for me !

It's cool seeing the polo game nearby, never actually seen one before. Really easy find. Cache is in good condition, but log is a bit damp. Tftc
No luck here today for me. There were four legged friends and sticks around too. So not too conducive for a thorough look. Will be back. Thanks anyway Tarmaroo
This was the first day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
This find only took a few seconds since I had to eliminate a few places before I homed in on the right one. TFTC.

Quiet today, no work on the housing development next door. The cache container is quite in the open but hidden from the road. The log is wet. No four legged friends around. tftc
Quickly found it, and dropped of an extraterrestrial here so he can see the stars.
Everything seems to be okay with this cache, even though it'S not particularly well concealed.
The travelling fox is happy =^,^=

After visiting a friend who wasn't home, I ventured out this way to find this cache. Nice and quick find on busy road. Thanks for the placement Tarmaroo.
Nice quick drive by...just as I arrived the Te Kuiti bus zoomed past and scared the animals away thanks for the great placement
Felt a bit conspicuous here but reading through logs was able to make a quick find.

We are in the area of Cambridge and visit the nice little town. We found some containers.
Many thanks to the owner of the Moorhelmis from Germany

Got muggled by a lovely helpful neighbour who knew all about it and assured me they all do. Had a long chat about geocaching and may have dragged her over to the dark side too lol.
Another nice quick drive by find. Was abit dubious at first due to the closeness of the neighboring houses but needn't have worried as we were in and out of there in a jiffy, TFTC!
Time to clean up Cambridge again and this was the first one on the list. No problems locating the cache. Thanks
not keen on doing caches this close to houses but it was early morning and no one was around, found a TB that wasn't logged in here so am moving that on, tftc
Hmmm, we found where we were sure it probably was, but it wasn't.... muggled? Nice spot though, will come another time. thanks
Found where we thought it should be but didn't see the container. Will try again another day when in the area.
Very dark tonight. Light assisted by the local police car who were probably wondering what I was up to but they didn't get out and ask so I didn't stop to tell them.
In Cambridge for the day with our cycle group to look at the Velodrome and do the Te Awa River ride. Very impressive. Enjoyed the opportunity to grab a few smileys afterwards as well. Great day out.
Nice easy find and there were quite a few animals around too. Cache all good. TFTC.

#584- On my way to Hamilton from the Mt. To our annual girls weekend! Yay. Trying to get as many caches as I can over the weekend. Wasn't expecting cache 2 b here felt like I was in someone's driveway. But a nice find thanks. Tftc
On a bit of a road trip so put in a handful of roadside caches so break the trip. Thanks Tarmaroo,a nice easy find.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Our plan is to find and log a multi cache for a souvenir. We have one in mind, but have other caches to visit first.
Cambridge: After scouting out a riverside cache up river, we decided to finally give this one a go. From the outset, the iPhone gps swung back and forth. The directional hand pointed across the road, then spun back to where we stood... And the clumps of agapanthus were considered also. We eventually found a photo in the logs, and it confirmed we were on the right side of the road. After pushing aside the concerns of private property, Gap found it. TFTC.

2pm - Arrived at GZ and arrow couldn't settle as where cache might be, one minute this side of the road then the next the other side. Looked for hint, nothing then spotted a photo. Had to be this side of the road, but nothing. Widen search pattern and found it. SLTFTC
On our Winter trip through the central North Island. Rotorua, Taupo and the surrounding area are favourite destinations. Travelling back to Auckland getting a few caches on the way. Lunch at Karapiro followed by a few local caches. Tftc
Nice little cache that I was meaning to find. We forgot a pen so we left two stamps. But we have photo evidence. TFTC
A quick look round and we came up with the cache. all quiet here today. Day one of a 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
Up from Christchurch for the weekend. Took the furry four legged friend down for a walk and nabbed this cache while we were there.
A morning off so time to get some town caches. No one about at 8.30 this morning tftc
Had come the previous evening to grab this one for a dot day but all the neighbours were mowing their lawns! A much easier grab today. TFTC!
Been a bit of a slow start to the year, time for another road trip!
A quick find here. TFTC

Off on a biking geocaching journey with Nahkins. This was #1 for the morning. It took us a little to and froing to get the hang of the GPS thingeys we were using. I had an IPhone. Found and marked our visit.Very happy to get the first one under the belt. Didn't see any horses around.
Again NZPatoto got me on a bike to do the Leamington Area. The first of 8 today. Took a bit to get the right spot. GPS on phone not so good. Used the Geocaching app and found it no problems.
went to the really obvious place for a cache - then followed the gps to the actual place lol

A return visit today, found it in 3 seconds flat.......how did I miss it last time? Guess I had my blinders on like the nearby 4 legged muggles!

A quick stop at the end of a mornings caching to find one last cache -- essentially a park n grab! HKCB went straight to it.
A slight last minute detour on the way home from a tramp to the Heli-pad so a few of us can find this cache. A quick find here, thanks for the hide.
Detoured to find this newish cache on our way home after a great caching-hiking trip to the Kaimai-Mamukus. Stiff legs already & HKCB had just about finished signing the log by the time I'd hobbled over from the car! TFTC
Lots of muggles around today due to the final of men's polo match, but great to see some famous polo players while out and about!!
Out this way for a birthday celebration it was time to finally get this one off of the radar as the coordinates had been incorrect for wayyyyyyy toooooo long but they are now all good.
Once we had made our way past the cycling event it was only a matter of stopping for a few moments to grab the cache, sign it and return it to its correct location.
Thanks for correcting the coordinates, thanks for the cache
