After four and a half years, it's with great sadness that I must let this cache go.
When I replaced it in March, it was apparent that this area simply wasn't as viable a hiding spot as it once was and now it appears to have disappeared for the final time.
Many thanks to the 102 finders for taking the time to come and log your experience (and the few more who stumbled upon it and played along nonetheless).

Today we headed south on a warm Autumn day caching from Hasting to Somers, we found your cache along the way.
We found the lid only, so we placed a new log book/camo lid inside a zip locked bag and rehid as per hint. Cache maintenance is required as a new container is needed.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Forgot that I had found this one so apologies for the late log. I had come over to here after doing the Ned Kelly multi down the road and was still keen to go for some park and grabs. Quite a few burrows around here and it occurred to me the cache may be down one, but I wasn't game enough to shove my hand down any of them to find out. Cache was found soon after. Getting the lid off was a challenge! Thanks to the CO's for the find.
Geo daughter came up trumps finally found yippee nice hide good condition thank you
Quick swing by to look at how things are going and visit some trackables.
All in good condition, nicely tucked away and waiting for new finders!

In the very good company of Alansee, this is one of the jointly unfound caches we were able to log as we made our way towards Wonthaggi in anticipation of another fun filled pre New Year Event weekend, which will be our 7th Geo Celebration, on the Bass coast.
Satellites today had our GZ 11 metres NE of where we found the cache.
Thanks to 'Brainiac03' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Arrived here in the company of Phetlern and with three pairs of eyes it didn't take too long.
This was a bit of a tricky hide just not sure if that was because things had moved. Originally the gps was indicating the other air if the fence but the hint told me I was in the correct location. The problem I had was decifering the rest of the clue. The gps was placing me at zero in a nice clear grass area with no where to hide. So time to pour the phone away and search. After I hunt I found it. Nice.
Thanks Brainiac03 for the cache.

Found with LouJean70. It wasn't where we expected it to be, but found after a short search. Nice and dry and lovely logbook. Thanks Braniac03 and super H.
After looking in a few wrong places first and being greeted by some friendly dogs on both sides of the fence, geomum of Fam_o_Five spotted the find here. Thank you

Yay! It's back!
Nothing has changed but the location and logbook.
Location is now 42-ish meters away from the original, but the hint and description are still relevant (that means staying stealthy!)
The logbook was looking a little worse for wear after suffering some tough conditions outside of its container, so we ordered a new one which is now being used. Thanks to everyone who penned, stamped and glitter-glued the original, we've kept it to retain those good memories!
The container has been washed out and looks much better, the camo is still intact.
Apologies to anyone who'd planned to find it in the last few weeks, it's all back in place now.

Ordering a new waterproof logbook and cleaning out the cache. Taken us a little while, but should hopefully be back up within the next week or two.

Hmmm... We seem to be in a bewildering predicament.
Cache container found... 195 metres away from gz in a tree hollow with nothing but a fake jewel in it. I don't even know the amount of dumb luck needed for me to just have randomly come across it.
Swaps found... mushed together on the ground at gz.
Logbook found... wedged in fence line against the branches of a tree.
Gz... compromised. Looks as if it were hit by lightning or taken to by an axe. There's no way the cache is staying here.
Cache will be restored and moved in due course, and until then... free firewood anyone?

Found it but it must have been dug up by a dog or fox etc, logged it and put it back how it seemed it should have been

I had a day off today and was helping my Mum move house. She gave me a time to arrive so I left a bit earlier and grabbed a few caches on the way there. Caching is so much easier on weekdays compared to weekends, much less people around.
Since my Mum is moving from Pearcedale I thought I had better get the 2 I have left in town since I won't be here very often anymore.
The place was deserted today so I managed to park only a few metres away and after a quick poke around I had the cache in hand.
Thanks Brainiac03 & super H for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found this cache very early on a Sunday morning, with no muggles around. Nice quick easy find, met another cacher doing the same thing. TFTC. SL. Thanks for putting a cache in the ground. This area has some great sporting grounds, very one must be very fit down this way. Cheers. Cache is all in good condition and nice and dry.

The night was its darkest as the moon was new. The blackest of nights is always welcomed, for the stars can shine across the heavens in their truest magnificence.
On this cloudless night, in this unlit desolate field, I savored the glittery interstellar light that had travelled across the galaxy to reach me at this annoited time. It spoke to me from years past and left me reflecting under the Milky Way...
Of how seemingly insignificant choices we make in a moment often reverberate down the timeline years hence...
May we all be a little more Mindful and choose wisely in each moment.
And when in doubt... Be Love.
Now for the boring bits... lol.
Thanks, Brainiac03 and super H.
The cache is in perfect condition and was found immediately due to your spot on coordinates.

Last one for the morning, it's nearly the little one's nap time. Anyway, after contemplating parking the car up the top and walking down to the back oval, I quickly remembered just how lazy I am, and drove all the way down the back, to within 20 metres of the cache! It was in the first place we looked, but not until we looked the second time!!! Had to say gday to the horse over the fence (which was the highlight for the little tacker, he won't stop talking about how he patted a horse!), then replaced cache, and jumped back in the car. Thanks for bringing us out this way, it's great to find these nice little suburban finds on a beautiful Spring morning.
Nice hide! Definitely requires stealth! Thought i grabbed a trackable but when i opened it ot appears the actual trackable item with code has been replaced with something else. The othee trackable supposed to be there is also absent. Hoping one of the 2 previous finders have grabbed and just not logged yet.
Out with the grandchildren, l pointed them in the right direction and their geo-sense took over. Not a muggle to be seen, they soon had cache in hand. Thanks Brainiac03 & super H
Feel like I'm out the back of nowhere, my son played Auskick here many moons ago. Thanks kindly.
Out with geo junior for the day and he decided he wanted to do some geocaching.

We found this cache today at 11:00am as number 1 of 25 on our Hastings Harbour Hunt. Our 4th cache find in Pearcedale, having found 3 caches here in 2011. We were hoping that no football was scheduled here today. Thankfully, there was not. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
A rainy ANZAC day plus a bunch of kids heading our way meant I was out of there.
Passed through here on my way through to Tooradin and stopped since it was empty. A nice walk in the drizzle to GZ where the cache was found with no trouble.
Thanks Brainiac03 and super H
PS - Cricket is my favourite kind of ball sport to play and watch.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

Out preparing our 4th hide and decided to finally tick this one off.
My family has been a part of this club for 3 generations. 2 Grandparents & father were life members of the footy club & father life member of the cricket club.
I too have a history here with over 150 games of footy and nearly 100 games of cricket.
This year I captained the local 3rd XI team to a Premiership.
Father's ashes are scattered on the front oval.
So as you can see, this place is pretty special to me!

Found this one today after heading back from university today, was a fairly quick find after parking nearby and after a little look the cache was quickly in hand. I do appreciate a quick find and this find helps me add another day to my current streak. A am sorry if this log is late I am currently in the middle of many University assignments so I have little time to spend caching. Anyways I thank you for the cache and the drive.

Out with Yorsys today collecting a few more caches in our local area. I think both of us have collected caches from this area. Today the place was deserted apart from a few workers on the other side of the park. Found quickly, logged and we said hello to the horse.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Geoturtle37 even picked up a pathtag to add to her collection. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Drove around the track and parked near GZ. Had to chose my moments as a walker walked around the track 3 times. Picked up a Pathtag and left one of mine. Thanks
One of the few Saturday's we've stayed local for quite some time, so we thought we'd clean up a few caches we didn't have in this area, this being one of them.
Arriving at GZ we soon located this nicely placed hide and after leaving our name in the log, we headed for home.
Thanks Brainiac03 for this placement.

i walk around the oval very lucky when i found the cache and a car drive come to see me so i walk off not look the car go thru the fence phew.....
I didn't want to tackle the 3 Pearcedale caches during school pick up but that just happened to be when I was free in the area.
Nice simple cache to find while the parents were getting ready to pick up their kids.
The only person to take any notice of me was the horse just over the fence.
Thanks for the cache Brainiac03 & super H

Wow! I got the Pearcedale Trifecta, if trifecta means getting all three! Great facilities for a small community. I followed my caching nose rather than the GPS to find this and it worked well. Two friendly boys at the skate ramp showed me their tricks with great flair then wanted to know what I was doing with my iPad. I had to fess up and they let me on my way. I've decided I like Pearcedale! TFTC!
On my way to catch up with some of my wonderful relatives who live nearby, so just had to make a quick stop to,add another smile on the map tftc Brainiac03

Out and about with Geo pals , Happy Pants,Morcs4 and Promontory on this great Melbourne Saturday.
With the local footy on we had to find another way in. Also got muggled, but now it's so easy just to say that we are playing pokèmon.
Cheers for the cache

Found after a short search and letting a muggle pass by, just playing Pokemon mate!! The cache was soon in hand and we had it logged, no ball sports were being played today which was surprising for a Saturday morning. TFTC Brainiac03.
We had to take a different and better approach to get this cache. After a short a bit of concern at the Terrain Rating we soon found at the opposite end. Thanks happypants for making the find. TFTC Brainiac03
Braved the rain to claim this cache in the early afternoon

Plenty of muggles at the near by car park for Election Day, we thought at first that we might have to abort due to the hive of activity. However the cache was well away from the car park and a nice quick easy find.

Well it had been pretty wet the past couple of days and finally today wasn't and so it was time to get back out there.
Back in some familiar areas as myself and Ahomburg blitz around the Peninsula clearing up spots of newly placed caches. A good result with most of the Peninsula LGA now under control but there are still some hot spots which will require some further attention very soon.
Final one found today and plans hatched for the next assault on the Peninsula LGA. Many thanks to all the COs today.
This was a quick find in the obvious spot.

Quick easy find. Kids found and luckly only a few muggles around. Love the camo. TFTC
I arrived at GZ before sunrise this morning. I should ideally have had a torch with me. But I didn't, so I couldn't see a thing. Had a cursory poke around then decided to just wait around for a bit more light while reading the Guardian's headlines. A very leisurely affair, but Pearcedale didn't seem to have dogwalkers or joggers, so I was hardly endangering the cache. By the time the election-related thinkpieces got dull (ie. not all that long) I looked up to find I had enough light, and the location of the cache was then very much apparent. Noice. Thanks Brainiac03 & super H!

Tonight I headed South East as I hadn't been this way for a while and there has been a few new ones published that need to be found.
I was surprised that this was actually a driveby.
When I arrived near GZ, I had to wait for a dog walking muggle to pass right by the cache before I headed over, I couple of suspicious rocks gave away the cache hide.

Had been to Pearcedale earlier in the week for another quick cache pick up so today's lunchtime excursion was also down here to check out two others nearby. It was a bit rainy so not too many people out and about which actually made the task of searching for this cache quite a bit easier. I took the long way round in the car but managed to park very close to GZ. Headed to a likely target and soon the cache was in hand. Biggest challenge was not to slip in the mud on the way back to the car. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Brainiac03. Nice park with lots of sporting facilities.
