Logs
Christmas trip to Adelaide 2023. Day 13. Blackwood Day 11. After a slow start to the day with a bit of rain about, I headed out to Coromandal valley and Aberfoyle Park to try for a few caches. My first three were on a short walk and the a few on the edge of the suburbs along Blacks Road. As the day headed up I headed down to Marion for a look around the shops along with several thousand other people.Finding the cache was no issue, but there is not log and the log is a solid block after being wet in the past. Thanks for the cache Team Cache Nerds45224.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 9000 Finds A#243**Albida**
I needed a cache before commencing the Mothers Day celebrations.
Thankfully this one was close by.
Unfortunately though is the fact that the lid is completely smashed and the contents weren't even in the cache when I arrived.
In need of desperate repairs here.
Thanks Team Cache Nerds for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3125 on the 14th of May 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

Thanks for the cache. The container is broken and no log book. KillBillAgain
This cache badly needs some TLC from the CO.
The systema container is broken, no longer sealing (or even closeable for that matter) the log is therefore unsignable.
Urgent attention required
Thanks

Forgot to log this yesterday.

A busy week for our team as we come to the south of town to work on a theatre production with SA Light Opera (oops, a shameless plug, find us on fluffbook!) , but there's always a time for a cache in between things! And here we are at yours...
Managed to spot a park for just long enough between bussos. Nice quick find!
tftc Team Cache Nerds
Team Mattycat with Jack and Sebastbat down south of the big smoke of Adelaide!
---
Caches everywhere up or down are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck and groping!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK.*
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
slippery steps with broken grips, collapsible ladders...
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

This was number 9 of 9 for a very successful day. No busses spotted here but the cache was found right away in the first spot I looked. Kept and eye out for snakes around here on this warm day!. TNLN. Cheers.
cache was found strewn across ground with what I assume to be the cache container nearby - placed cache behind rocks and cache container out of the way as I did not know where it went.
Found it but it was strewn across the ground unfortunately - found the outside container too - not sure where to rehide it so hid the sisters container and left the pipe nearby - needs c/o to check
Found but it wasn’t in its spot lost and full of water I Rehid it in a spot that I thought was good
Found while on the hunt for smilies in the Coromandel Valley area.
Log was out of the zip bag which was good as it was still damp. Pushed it in a little further hoping it will get a chance to dry.
Thanks Team Cache Nerds for the cache

This evening, I decided to head up to Coromandel Valley and do some walks around Sturt Gorge, and some suburban caches. There was also the *Historic Coromandel Valley* adventure lab bonus cache that was yet to be found. I also had a nice jog along the river / linear park, before making final stops at local CFS and Frank Smith Park.
No busses spotto'd during my visit, just before peak time with the roads getting busier. I saw something suspicious, and sure enough, it housed the cache. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook is damp. Thanks Team Cache Nerds for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I started 2020 with some improbable caching goals that only lasted until mid February.
Then came Covid-19 and now caching will have to take a back seat or be socially responsible.
No more than one or two people and target caches that haven't been visited in some time.
So today it was just Anymules and me going for long walks in Sturt Gorge and surrounds getting caches nobody has visited for a while.
###ZERO###
That was my count of buses as I made a quick find. Stopped, found cache, left and zero buses spotted. Next!
***Thanks Team Cache Nerds for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

No.6. Quick and easy find as it was rather exposed, so we hid it a bit better!
After chasing an FTF near by, Rod81w and I stopped by a few caches on the way home, quick find here. TFTC
We parked further up the road and walked down to the cache hide. As we approached we spotted the hide, we looked up not down.
The container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Team Cache Nerds. The trees around this area are certainly beautiful. It is good to see them left in the small reserves and along the streets. We didn't realise this was a bus stop until we started to walk away.

Took me awhile, the clue had me looking to close, had to stretch my field of search a little.
Thanks for the cache Team Cache Nerds.

I was looking in a different area and I got at the right angle to see the cache from a slight distance away. Tftc.

Heading back to the office after working in the area and needed to stop for morning tea and grab a cache or two along the way. Parked opposite, left the engine running, and wandered over the road and the cache was out in the open. So grabbed it, and while signing the log spotted one bus. Reassembled it all and rehid and covered with some local camo to keep it out of prying eyes. Wandered back to the car and off to the next one.
