Once again on the hunt for alien souvenirs - hoping to get another 20 caches this weekend to get within sniffing distance (with a planned trip to Canberra near the end). Today was a Drover/Gopher day as I poked around south of Wagga and found the 19 caches I attempted. This is the furthest south of this little cluster and only the second of this D/T that I have found (now 16 to go to do a second loop). More motorcycles came past as I walked back from this - they gave a wave so at least they were friendly.TFTC baby&Mrs gopher
Out and about today exploring the area with Geowife and Geodogs. Well, to get to here was an epic adventure. No damage done to the Silver Viking or the camper trailer. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
This apparently dry section of Earth was gold after all the wet sloshy occasions earlier in the day. Heading south we needed to stop for this one just so we could get attacked by a thousand mozzies hiding in wait at GZ.
Muggle65 and l are on our way down south and need regular breaks. Caches are certainly good breaks! Can't believe how dry the track is when so many places are still full of water. Soooo many mozzies at GZ. Happy to sign and run back to the car. Thank you for the fun ??
We had these 3 caches on our target list for our trip so a nice walk in and along the trail to the bottom 3 caches, it was very wet and sloppy under foot but managed to make easy find at all 3
Day 2 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Ouyen to Wagga Wagga, lucky enough to come across and FTF in Swan Hill and collect some good caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for the cache.

We arrived at the end of the series for a super quick find. A challenging trail for me though MrG cruised it on a mountain bike. The mozzies were an absolute pain in the ar... arms, legs, neck, wherever... but they've been everywhere not just at The Rock. It was beautifully quiet in the few hours we spent here. TFTC and the series baby&Mrs gopher.
Never discount the obvious! Although in the past it has lead us astray. Fixated on where we think it should be, and not noticing where it actually is hidden! Simple find.
Today we moved from Wagga to The Rock. Not far, but to a great camp at the Rec Reserve and an area with quite a number of caches. We were here reasonably early do dropped off the van and began the day touring with geocaches as our guide. The 2 Adventure Labs in town were our starting point, one a reflective trip down the Main Street and the other a mixture of historical sites and places of interest.
Couldn’t resist a coffee and cake at the local cafe before heading out of town again. Good home-baked apple slice, and good coffee couple with a chat to a number of the locals.
We got to the town ‘drop-bear’ and there met baby&Mrs gopher a lovely couple of local cachers and had a chat. Baby’s advice was well received so we headed out on the bMg trail after going to The Rock reserve. We completed all the trail with only one DNF. Some great containers and a variety of hides and varying difficulty. Not just your regular power trail.
Throughout the day we collected traditional, multis, a letterbox and an Earthcache.
Thank you so much to the local cachers for your efforts, it is much appreciated.

In the area for a couple of days so ventured into a little part of the track for a few select caches. No problems with the hides and we added our names to the logs and re hid. TFTC
OCW the Bebes. Thought we would have a go at this trail today on our visit here from Sydney. Spotted the hide from a fair way away. Tftc
Headed to Wagga for the weekend with PelDroedGwin.
The stock route was a must as it’s so different from the urban caching I’m used to in Sydney

Yay!!
A plan was hatched with fitzy_1965, Albida33, Minniek, GLISS! and cosmonaut97 to head down south and tackle The Rock. We have had our eye on a Jasmer down this way for awhile and with the new AL’s and some other great series in the area it was time for a visit!!
It was an absolutely fantastic weekend with some great caching (and some epic adventure) and we were so spoilt by the local hospitality from Baby&MrsGopher.

I joined a weekend away to 'The Rock' with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibletricecakes, Gliss! & Cosmonaut97. The main aim was a climb up the Lion of Kengal and the caches in the Olympic Highway Stock Reserve. We achieved everything on the agenda, even though some of took longer than expected. We had a great weekend staying at Baby&MrsGopher's place where the hospitality was fantastic. On Sunday afternoon I headed out by myself to Henty and Wagga Wagga. On Monday I spent the morning in North Wagga and on the Coolamon Highway.
After the hike, we all climbed into two cars and started this reserve from the Southern end. It was a fun drive and the three or four deep crossings, thankfully dry, were dramatic, but all successfully taken. The caches were all of quality expected by Baby&Mrs Gopher and we had a great afternoon, even though we ran out of time and had to defer some till Sunday.
Thanks for the cache baby&Mrs gopher

A weekend away with Minniek, fitzy_1965, nibletricecakes, albida33 and Cosmonaut97 at The Rock. After climbing Kengal, it was off for the 4WD trail. As the driver of one of the cars, this was GREAT fun! Thanks for the fun and the series BMG.
Staying at The Rock this weekend with fitzy_1965, Albida33, nibletricecakes, GLISS! and cosmonaut97.
After conquering Kengal, and a bit of afternoon tea in our bellies, we all headed out to do part of the bMg trail.
Great fun had on the 4wd track. All caches were found quickly and in good condition. Managed to snag a pathtag in this one.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher

Found with Gliss!, nibbletricecakes, minniek, and albida33. Another great location. TFTC.
Thanks heaps for the caches along this mini series in the bushlands of The Rock. Was an awesome bike ride through the area, All caches were in good working order unless otherwise stated. Thanks heaps for the finds!
I was sure that I had logged half of these but maybe not. Lost all my notes so apologies for generic log. All logs were either signed, stamped or have SG. Thanks for your awesome work baby&MrsGopher.
TFTC Baby and Mrs Gopher, I like the D/T on these, any T4 that doesn't require tree climbing is good.

Below is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
Trackables that we have had for a while will be moved on.
We are in Wagga for a few days and will try to increase our find numbers. Thanks to all CO for placement and maintenance of caches.

TFTC,
Back in Sydney and using my time to log caches we completed on our forced return to home base.
We had lunch at the Drovers Virtual GC88YXF and came to this fantastic power trail. The CO had advised us to drop the van at the start but I believed I new better and went in about 12 caches before Nana told me that we had gone far enough. Left the van and continued, end of paste.
Last one along here, we will get the rest from the other end later.

After arriving from The Murray River playing golf, decided to do some of this series, started with caravan on, then the road got a bit hairy. Found the one after a little search, good hide. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to baby&Mrs gopher for this great series.

Out and about today in the Rock and it is a glorious February day. Only sad note is that I am out caching alone; no partner Ozreg to enjoy the day with! Thanks to baby&Mrs gopher for providing and maintaining all these fun caches. Now on to a busy and fun caching adventure . Cache all good
Found this one while out exploring the area with Happy Feet and made the most of her small 4wd and her past visit along this way which made for an easier and much enjoyable time grabbing these hides along the trail. Managed a nice straight forward find, thanks baby&Mrs gopher for the cache.
A quick find, another great cache by bMg,4 wheel drive certainly helps on this track.TFTC
End of the road for us & another quick grab. Now back for some on the other track...4.6km return on the bikes with this being the southern most find for us today. Tftc baby&Mrs gopher.
When we decided to visit the Rock as se headed north we added this series to our to look for list. We do not have a 4WD so thought we would check the road first. The heavy rain yesterday made this unnecessary as, after reading the cache page information we knew walking was our only option.
We parked on the road, sealed not slippery mud, and made our way across the railway line and through a gap in the fence. After a short bush walk we found the track and were soon infront of the hide. We removed the covering material and found good sized container. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache baby&Mrsgopher. The bush looked interesting so after discussing the pros and cons of walking along the slippery, muddy tracks or running backwards and forwards to the car and driving inbetween walking won so off we went.

Day 280 - Today was a single day again only wanted to get this cache and leave however took the long drive out to see how much more deteriorated the other end of this track had become and it was not as nice as it once was but hey the last time I traveled this whole track was some 8 years ago so and there has been two major rain flood events in the area since.
This was a easy find but a long drive between the find and the return to home. Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for this nice spot to stop and collect a smiley whilst testing the driving skills.

Found at 7:27:25 AM: GAFF1.
Glad that the Terrain has been upgraded, because even after a bit of rain a few weeks ago the track is still quite slippery and rutted in places.
Now - how do we get out of here? Go all the way back, or keep going?
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher

Today’s plan had an UPSIDE- I ditched the bike, it’s inbetween rain bands, and to collect the series was a success - all were placed in great spots and in good nik- that is UNTIL it got dark and fallen trees and no track to speak of had me turn around. Turned this arvo episode of caching into a memorable EPIC for this little Xtrail (sorry geomobile- I’ll sort the undercarriage tomorrow ) As daughter says ‘boredom’s’ not in my vocabulary. ! Back on the bitumen, found a coffee at Henty and can say TFTC and the fun!
Out and about with [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) to collect some more of these bMg cache. Came in from the bottom past the new ones, what an interesting drive. Down trough some serious cullies, lucky Jayne, my geo chauffeur for the day has done her 4WD basic training, she done very well to get through them. We did take the harder route on some of the tracks we realize after the fact, slipping through the mud with dads ute.
Found it, stamped it, replaced it, now have finally loged it, thanks guys. Lil Donna

Catching up on some late logs... Sorry..
Headed out with @LilDonnasAdventure to collect some New cachse today, our main aim today was further down the lane, however we could not go past this since it was on the way.
Found it at this interesting little piece of history.
Thanks BMG for placing this cache for us and others to enjoy.

Thank you for the series we had a lot of fun. It’s a pitty that people have to dump there rubbish in a nice place like this.
An easy find, would love to see the series extended right down south to the Not The Olympic Way cache, that was where Wingnut and I originally started this track 3 years ago. That would be fun.
The local CO's kindly offered to show us their 4WD skills which are very good. I am not sure if I would have been as calm if hubby was driving. Now I am not saying that hubby is not a good driver but local knowledge of the tracks I feel helped a heap.
The caches that we found were all varied, the hides, containers and terrain were different and all cache containers contained swag which we added to in some of them.
We apologise for the generic logs, for us writing a generic log does not mean that any of the caches have less meaning for us and does not take away our appreciation of the effort that CO's go to to place caches for our enjoyment. SL TFTC

A perfect morning to complete this series - overcast, with a little rain to keep us cool, the birds were happy to serenade us as we searched, the Track was dry, although badly rutted in places and we managed to find every one! All caches were in good condition and plenty of room left on log sheets. Any extra comments will be added at the end of each entry. TFTC and the series baby&Mrs gopher. We found 16 caches over 2 hours and it then took us 20 minutes to retrace the track back to the Rock for morning tea and our first coffee for the day. SL at 10.47am Left: pirate ball Took: snowman #5786 and so we come to the end of the road and the end of the series. Thanks again for the fun and the caches.
YAY. We made it to the end and we are only half drowned. This is a fabulous series that I am pleased we got to finish at last. It is a beautiful drive through here and all caches were found. A few strolls and a few wrong tracks only made for a more interesting drive. We got out before the rain really hit which we were grateful for as last time we were here, it was so slippery that we were too tractionally challenged to continue.
Thanks so much for this series. Sorry I don't have enough favourites for each and every one.

Still on our way back from the Muster in Barcaldine and decided to make a detour or seven. This series has been on our to do list for some time and we thought that as it was only a couple of hundred km's out of the way, why not. Lots to do on the way and last time we were here, it was so wet, we couldn't finish so here we are.
After leaving the drought in Queensland, we were surprised at how much rain we have encountered down here and as the sky is darkening, not sure if we will get it all done again.
Sorry for the generic logs but we have written hundreds of them in the last week and are running out of words.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

With staying in Wagga Wagga for a couple of days en route from Tasmania to Newcastle, I dropped the family off at our accommodation for some R & R and headed out to find a few select caches.
I have been eyeing off this series for a while now, but everytime I'm in the area, I either didn't have enough time, or the track was boggy. So this afternoon, I made the most of my opportunity.
Last one before making a U-turn and heading back the way I came for the rest, and this one was visible from 20m away. Covered it up appropriately before leaving.
Gratias baby&Mrs gopher.

With the day off work, I decided on making way out to ‘The Rock’ again to attempt the BMG trail plus a few lone caches along the way. It took three hours to complete the trail due to the amount of tree branches, detours and soil erosion on the track. This caused me to drive at a snail pace making sure that nothing happened to me or my car. Out of the 31 caches I attempted, I made 31 finds today and I also revisited another cache along the way. Today was full of different hides, challenges and fun. It also added to my Fizzy Grid (D/T), Jasmer Grid (Hidden Month) and Hidden Day Grid on ‘Project GC’ meaning I am closer to finishing them. TB visit on all caches and on some of the smaller logbook/sheets I signed as 1/10/18 JM. I would like to thank ‘baby&Mrs gopher’ for all the caches I found today and for the fun and challenges that came along with them. TFTC’s!
A nice easy one to finish the bulk of the trail with. TFTC and now to continue along the road to find some of the lone caches around the area.

Super excited on our first day on the road as we head to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine. With plans to cache all the way as we catch up with family and fellow cachers , exploring new territory as we go.
Well we made it to the end unscathed, enjoying the adventure along the tracks winding around the gullies and bush vegetation to each of the caches.
Completing the series here with the very last cache we turned around and retraced our steps back to the township of The Rock.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for the awesome series we had a ball .

This cache was part of our Baby&Mrs gopher selection of caches for the day. Each located cache had our name written on the log and was put back as it had been found before we moved on. Thanks go to baby&Mrs gopher for each of the caches found and the fun we had today.
This Log is repetitive for all the baby & Mrs Gopher Caches I found this day, apart from the "Baby's Revenge" DNF.
left Wodonga around Middday Sat 14th July. Turned into a beautiful sunny winters day after the morning chill.
Most importantly ...THANKS Mrs Gopher for all the placed and maintained Caches. I had a ball along the old Stock Route. Didn't dare go any further south of final cache (Lockhart Road) Too washed out for my 4wd, bottomed out in one area. Besides, unsure of conditions and where next main road access was.
Thought i got all your caches in series, but realised when got home I somehow missed Norman and Emily St's. Possibly had map zoomed in and went to next direct. Alas, had fun as I mentioned, and again Thanks and well done.
Cheers from Reg.

TFTC. We are camped at the Recreation Reserve not far from baby&Mrs gopher. Over coffee on Friday morning (that turned into lunch) army and Ann offered to drive us along the stock route to find the caches that we had not done last year. We jumped at the offer. A very pleasant Sunday morning drive along the flat and gullies of the route. Linda and I directed the stopping and searched out the caches, while The CO remained in the vehicle. Linda was especially glad as she is not that keen on driving through rutted backroads. We had a great time and the trail as it stands now is fully of smilie faces.
Another lovely cache on the trail to find - great to be sharing this adventure with Joolay, DarkSideDan and AngelG27 with bMG leading the drive along the track. We have a story to tell and share together now
Cache 3703 on 15 Apr 2018
Back in Wagga for another weekend of caching - this time with Kittykatch, Joolay and DarkSideDan. A couple of the power trails in our sights, but a few others besides!
Unless otherwise indicated, caches found and in good order. Teamed up with Baby&Mrs Gopher for a maintenance run on the bMg trail - super lovely thanks! We did the finding though!

Found by Mary & David at 1510. We last travelled this stock route about three years ago, heading south. Today we went the other way. The first seven km or so to this cache were much more chopped up than we remembered, so the going was a bit slow. Even so, David and the GeoPrado enjoyed it more than Mary and her sound effects at each bump. Our thanks to baby&Mrs gopher.

My second and last day of my last minute decision to travel into the Riverina region to cache.
With an early start and a full cup of coffee I was ready to hunt.
I love to take my little Xtrail off road. I was just lucky today that the area was so dry!
In the end I totalled 81 finds for the day, and got back home just after dark.
Thanks for the caches.

so I was looking forward to the non-stop mountain bike ride back to towne

Hi there baby&Mrs gopher.
We found your cache **"bMg - Lockhart Road"** today. (This makes our find count 18035).
Today we headed down from Wagga to The Rock so we could attempt the "bMG"series & also logged some other non-series caches we came across on our travels. We started at "Yerong Street" & from there we proceeded to log the rest of the series (to "Lockhart Road" before retracing our route to log a few more caches before heading back to camp.
We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 20 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were all in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Suscoe was out and about today in the company of Phetlern.
A cold start, a sunny day, good fun caching and a great day out.
We enjoyed many pleasant locations and good hide.
This is a beaut part of the world.
A generally generic log today.
Thanks to baby&Mrs. gopher for this hide.
Thanks for this delightful drive, we had a really nice trip down this track.
A favourite for the trail.

Based in Wagga, for a few days, in the grand company of fellow Victorians Suscoe, we headed to the south of town then to the west in search of some Riverina treasure.
The bMg take on the streets and lanes of The Rock, was a really fruitful adventure. We loved the idea of walking in the bush to reach a variety of hides and completed the series with a perfect score.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for placing such a peachy series.

5398. A long day out with Rapidlywild, FurfacesLL and Loci612.
I believe my colleagues have covered our adventure to a T.
So a big thank you to them and especially to the CO for their efforts and providing us with lots of entertainment.

A trip was planned for last weekend but the weather spoiled those plans, re-scheduled for today and what a lovely day it turned out to be. Not too hot, not too cold, just right for some monkeying around. Headed out just after 6.30am and returned around 12.30am collecting just over 60 caches on the trip more than originally planned. The touring party consisted of Boot65, Loci612, Rapidlywild and myself with all logs through the day being signed as B.F.L.R.
Time to slowly make our way back to Canberra and decided to go home via The Rock. We all decided we would try this trail but it would depend on the quality of the road as we went along. It was a little hair raising in parts, loci who had never been 4WD'ing before was keen to turn back at certain sections but instead we continued along the way. Passed a few others on the road which made him a little more confident. All caches along this trail were found quickly, hardest part was dodging the orb spider webs. Sorry for the generic log, but thanks for a entertaining trail after dark.
Thanks for the cache baby&Mrs gopher and thanks for a great day out Boot65, Loci612 and Rapidlywild.

The main goal of today was a day trip down to Walla Walla to complete the tree hide series. On the way back though we spotted this trail and one thing led to another and we were on the trail and couldn't stop ourselves from going the whole way, into the night! It was way to much fun!
We had Boot65's flashy Toyota Hilux 4WD with us, with the ladder still attached to the roof. We weren't expecting to come down a 4WD track but everyone seemed keen and we all had a bit of fun with it! There were some sections where I held my breath because I haven't gone 4WD'ing before and am used to basic small 2WD cars so I was unaware of the power a car like this had! It was extremely fun however and I was glad we didn't get into any bad situations!
We navigated through a few deep puddles, bumps, and even a creek crossing which luckily didn't have any water so it was just a bit bumpy along the rocks! I am very confused how majority of the caches are T2 and there are even quite a few T1.5's!? Right at the end of the track, OVER the river and the caches become T1.5? That didn't make much sense to me as the way we came was 4WD only and if you were walking it would be a bit of a trek along varying terrain and bush! The ones at the end of the track should surely increase in terrain not decrease!
All caches were found easily, and we even passed a couple cars while out here. One was full of teenagers who had gone right down the track and collected a ute full of firewood! That gave us confidence as we knew that car had done the track, then surely ours could too!
Thanks for placing this series in such an awesome location where lots of fun was had, sorry for the generic logs but all caches were found quickly and have blurred together into one great experience!
We signed as B.F.L.R (Boot65, FurfacesLL, Loci612, Rapidlywild) to save space in the log.

A group of us in the ACT had been planning a Walla Walla trip to tackle the 4.5T series of caches for a little while now, we locked in last Saturday however weather and news was reporting "significant" rains so we postponed to this Saturday. After heading off nice and early, the four of us (Boot65, FurfacesLL #1, Loci612 and myself) set off for our long day of adventures. We had 9 caches in our initial target, came home with just over 60 finds after 17+ hours out and about. It was an amazing day challenging ourselves in many ways and hitting some awesome fun 4wd tracks under moonlight We signed all caches today as B.F.L.R. to save room in the logs. Picked up 3 D/T's for me and FurfacesLL claimed their 25,000th find Congrats ladies.

**This Cache:** Apologies for the generic logs along this series, cant really remember each on individually as it was a very long day lol. So we decided to head in and do the trail along here being we were with Boot65 and his awesome 4WD. We had an amazing trip along this 4WD track, lots of bumps, slides, mud, climbs and walks out to the caches. The weather was really nice and there was heaps of giggling and chatter. No issues locating this one, signed and replaced.
Thanks to Boot65 for being our chauffeur today in the new 4wd beast, was super fun thanks also Loci and FFLL for the great day out and thanks for the cache of course baby&Mrs gopher [^]

A sojourn both peaceful and interesting in the variety of caches and terrain to be found. We thoroughly enjoyed being at The Rock and our thanks to baby&Mrs gopher for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Wagga day 3, Wilks Park
We had a great morning out caching in the bMg area. We have recently purchased a Pajero Sport so this was the first time it had done any road work like this. Very happy with it performance.
Enjoyed our drive, not to hot to walk to the caches.
A good variety of caches & DT locations visited.

Returning home from Albury we decided to tackle this series from the Southern end. Getting to the first cache was quite an adventure as there were numerous deep ruts and fallen trees to avoid. The rest of the track was quite tame in comparison.
A good variety of hides and some nice walks made this a very enjoyable series.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for placing this series.

Out and about to grab the bMg series today accompanied by The Drovers who had already done the series. We also managed to pick up a few other caches in the area to round the day off.
After parking nearby the cache was easily found and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

We took on this trail after doing the rock, we drove half of the tail and walked the rest, these is so much water over the roads and huge amount of erosion, we weren't too thrilled about getting stuck. At least we had company of the swarm on mosquitoes around. We found all caches, some a little more challenging than others. We're glad to have collected all the smileys. Thanks for showing us a different type of adventuress caching.
10568. Found during a caching run down to the Wagga region this ANZAC Day long weekend.
Up early and hit the road while it was still dark - I had a lot of caches planned for this weekend ! When I was doing the planning, I looked at the caches along here and was resigned to not being able to do them in my 2WD. By chance though I met the COs at an event in Canberra last weekend, and after a quick chat a plan was hatched to head out in their 4WD for a maintenance run and for many bonus cache finds for me ! This was the next stop along the way - and after a quick search the cache was in hand. Log signed, cache returned and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks again baby&Mrs gopher ! This was the highlight of the weekend for me !

A lovely day to take a country drive, so we ventured out to The Rock to pick up a few caches.
Tracks were dry and in good condition, which made it an easy run for the geo-cruiser.
Geo-wife did the longer walks, as geo-hubby's knee was not up to it.
We found a good variety of hides, which kept us busy for a couple of hours.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, baby&Mrs gopher, for us and others to find.

# 10531. A beautiful, but very smoky Autumn day was forecast so we decided to load up the bikes and head to The Rock for a ride. The intention was a nice easy ride by the highway - I think I need to sack my cache programming mate and do my own research as to riding conditions. The sand and bulldust and rocks and potholes and deep ruts did not make for easy riding in many places and then to top it off Rob got a flat tyre almost at the furthest point.
What with the scrambling and bush-bashing I wouldn't call this an easy series to do. We did manage to find all the bMg caches however and a few more along the way.
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher

Loaded the deadly treadlies up and joined BettyBoo3747 for a trip up to The Rock.
Rode the bMg trail, and few other caches in town.
The trail took us longer than we thought it would, interesting riding (and a flat!), and a lot of hides off trail. (Of course that had nothing to do with my flat tyre - road? what road?)
Good to see you are being healthy and eating a lot of fruit, and not mints (makes for easier finds and larger logbooks!)
We particularly enjoyed the minimalist approach to camo!
We rode to this one first - we could see it from a distance (we fixed that!)
Time to turn around and finish the last cache of this series.
Thanks, Robmc.

Well aren't we lucky!!! We had the privilege of being chauffeur by the "Baby" to some of the local caches. Getting the grand tour and smiley's at the same time.
Such a fun day!
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher!

Headed back early today to beat the heat and enjoy the rest of the series ,with The Rock hill as a backdrop.
What we liked about all these is that all the hides are varying styles plus you have to get out of the car and go for a walk which i am sure was the intended purpose, unlike many series where the cache is 3m from the car stop spot.
Plenty of medium sized containers well hidden with a good size log book in all as well plus pens and swaps.
Even the puddles from a few weeks back had vanished now.
Many thanks to baby and Mrs gopher for the well placed series.
