We had a surprise couple of days free so we decided to head across the border in an attempt to find our 10,000th South Australian cache. Happily we achieved that yesterday and today we are doing a few more around the Millicent area before heading to Beachport for the night. We ave had the pleasure of knowing the CO for quite a few years, it is always interesting to learn snippets of her life prior to geocaching. We parked and followed the GPSr to gz where after a brief search the container was located and the log book now contains our name. Many thanks hevwalker for sharing a bit of your life and for being a part of this game.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega because of Covid. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had been able to attend the 2020 Mega. Thanks for the cache. LNCU.
Staying in Millicent for a few nights. Today going out to do the trails. Hardly any one about today.
The cache has been replaced so all good to be found again. I think the heat might have melted the lid.
Cache and log in serious need of replacement. Found on ground, but no longer useable.
Found it but half of the cache was on the ground and half still attached to original location. Log gone. TFTC
On the way to Millicent with Everlasting and Found the cache and logged the log with Everlasting hevwalker, Thank you so much for placing it.
Accompanied with crank1, we enjoyed the trip and detour find it and sign the log. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
TFTC hevwalker for your cache FMWH...Millicent that we found today. After a hard day yesterday finding the GV2020 series we wanted a more relaxing day. We decided to head out to Beachport for a lunch of fish and chips and concentrate on Adventure Labs. We would also attempt any caches that we saw close by. A chilly day but rewarded by the coastal views.
This was one of the caches we had targeted.
Quick one on the way out of town.
Find count : 15668

Caching with Zander_25 and Imogen_Lee. Renewed log book due to old one moldy and stuck pages together.
We have decided to only grab a couple caches which don’t have long grass open areas so you can see where you are walking and in thongs and shorts so we found this one TFTC
Easy find as you said it would be. I can see why you put it here from your storytelling. TFTC. TNLN.
A nice quick drive by here.
The log is a bit “Manky”, but doable at this stage.

Out for a day's solo caching with no particular goal and noticed a couple of FTFs up for grabs in Southend so thought that's a good destination I enjoyed my tour around this beautiful part of the coastline, even though the piercing wind was bitterly cold.
On the way home I stopped in here and signed the log which was a little damp.
Thanks hevwalker

Public holidays are the best time to get out and about as long as you don’t run into other Geocaching teams
After coming from Mt Gambier via the western side of Lake Bonney through Canunda NP, it was time to find a few caches around Millicent before heading back to The Mount .
A quick stop here, finding the cache in a very familiar spot .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Hevwalker.

Tuesday. On the slow return home from the fun of the Millicent 2021 mega and literally driving back from Mount Gambier to home. The coastal route was choosen and with the expected detours at cachers make mogni and myself only got as far as Beachport before the GPS's where turned off and it was a foot to the floor drive ( well speed limits where obeyed ) to we got back to mogni's house.
Another caching adventure with Mattycat, Sebastbat and Gem, today we and including Beachport, cahe was a quick find thanks for sharing your memories

Day 2 is MEGA DAY and the weather is miserable but nothing was going to dampen our spirits, today’s mission was to boil a giant crayfish
Fueled up on delicious egg & bacon sangas, drinks and snacks stashed, we were on our way.
Along the way we kept our eyes peeled and managed to tick off a few trads and add some more smileys to our map.
Thanks to the many hands and minds putting together these series for the long awaited event.

In Millicent for GeoVenture 2020 after meandering up the Western Australia coast, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, we have finally arrived down south of SA.
Down the Highway and byways, tracks and trails, the geological, historical, the fun geocaches, traveling this great country through the eyes of a geocacher has lead us to some fantastic outlooks.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these Geocaches, it makes the Adventure more interesting.
We found your cache container, a nice quick find, and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced it as found.

Down in Millicent for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend.
Highlight of course was the mini mega gathering hosted by the longest serving mega committee (thanks for all your hard work guys and gals)
( Hopefully we'll be back for the big one when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM.
Ahhh was trying to work out the possible things FMWH could mean... that is better !
Happy you found your way Hevwalker

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear,
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun ! ! !

We ventured out after the event to find some nearby caches. The rain was a bit bothersome but we found this cache anyway TFTC
The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 2: Today we decided to head westward taking in Rendelsham, then through Canunda National Park to Southend. Then it was east via some back roads and lanes to the Princes Highway, then back towards our Millicent base as once again darkness overtook us and it was time to call it a day. All up about 50 finds, 1 DNF and 3 non attempted as it was way to windy to be high up some of the trees.
Another FMWH cache and another chance to put my own acronym in. Flying Mostly Without Hovering in Millicent. But then again there is that speed limit on the sign there. Cache duly found and signed.
***Thanks hevwalker for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Day two at Carpenter Rocks with Bettyboo3747 and The Morris.
Today was a trip through Tantanoola, with lunch in Millicent, and the afternoon at Southend.
A nice collection of caches in very changeable weather.
We went to the Mad Penguin for lunch then headed off for Southend.
This was our first cache out of town.
Thanks, Robmc.

#16507. Day 2 of a little break based at Carpenter Rocks with Robmc and The Morris. We did a wide sweep around the area and after lunch at Millicent we went seawards to South End. What a lovely place, even in the gale force winds.
Not wending our way home yet. Off to South End we go. A quick find on our way out of town.
Thanks hevwalker

Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks hevwalker for the cache.
Today was our final day in the south-east, as I did a few sinkhole and cave dives, and then geocached for the afternoon and upon my return to Adelaide. I geocached around Tantanoola checking out the town and tiger, before heading back and geocaching around Millicent, stopping at a few of the Commurra Bus series on the way through to Kingston S.E., and then making a brief stop in Meningie.
At this location, it started raining and I wondered if I should abandon my geoache search here. I did a quick run out of the car, and thankfully it wasn't hidden in amongst the sideway bushes. Within the safety and comforts of my car, the logbook was signed and then placed, thanks hevwalker. Thanks for sharing your stories here in amongst the Limestone Coast.

Hi there hevwalker.
We ventured from Mount Gambier to Millicent for a day out. We enjoyed our outing and found 24 caches (& DNF'd 2) in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.
