**Today**Today myself and DSD woke up in Murray Bridge and headed straight to Mannum for the Amazing Breakfast event! It was another great little catch-up before we returned to Murray Bridge to grab some caches in town. Our main goal of today was to find the webcam cache at Victor Harbour, so we focused our day on getting there, caching locally, and then heading into Adelaide for the first official mega side event at the parklands! It was a successful caching day in & around Victor Harbour, we even managed to get one of the best webcam photos the cache page has ever seen! Thanks to all the COs -**This Cache**An Earthcache of a sculpture in someones backyard! Never seen that before, theres a first for everything! Continuing my South Australian adventure, I came to this earthcache. What a lovely sculpture. I would love to have sculptures in my garden but I tend to put my spare money into paying for geocaching trips. Thanks for showing me this interesting spot....and TFTC

This is such a serene place, the home owners have done sone really tasteful designing around their home. Not sure why we havent been down this way for the wander, especially when there is a cache here!!
We enjoyed a stroll along the trail admiring the water life, flora and fauna, and got some ideas on garden styles after we inspected the desired object. Its a lovely time of year here with the brown ducks eggs starting to hatch there is a lovely show of ducklings to watch, they are so cute. Another part of Victor has now been explored. Thanks LiB for the earthcache and your prompt reply to our answers.

This would have been easier if there were muggles at home. We took the short stroll to GZ and quickly took in what we needed to and took off again. It was drizzly so it did look a little strange with us standing around, lol. Thanks for showing us this sculpture with the placing of this cache.

29-Jun-23
Travelling with Geoturtle37, Team Crackers and Micaparamedic (although he had left by now), we aimed for as many earth caches as we could find, this being one of them.
It was a chilly day when we walked to this cache. We felt a little conspicuous so didn't take a lot of time. After getting back to the cars, we discussed our responses.
Thanks to Team Crackers for sending in our answers and thank you to the CO for bringing us here with the placing of this cache.

Catching up with late logs.
Unfortunately half the team stayed in Western Australia looking after sick friends while the other half headed home for his own doctors appointment. I joined forces with Geoturtle37 Papi4506 at Maralinga and we are stopping at caches that we pass on the way home.

Today the weather was against us being cold, wet and windy but as we all like Earth caches we visited this one.
We were confused as we pulled up as to where it would be but we found it OK and headed off. At GZ the drizzle made it hard for us with glasses but we think we have the answers required and they have been sent off to the CO.
Hopefully they will be good enough for our log to remain.
many thanks liB for this Earth Cache and making us think.
Loved the name of the cache as well,

Visited the area with SXC and had the answers verified by the CO.

Great sculpture in an area I haven't previously visited. Seems there is a lot of new development around the south coast and it's continually expanding. Few friendly muggles out today walking their dogs and enjoying the sunshine after a cold winter.

Thanks for the earthcache LiB

Found this one a few times but finally managed to send off the info through shonkylogic who did it with me this time around.

Answers on their way.

So we did it, we took the plunge and early last year made arrangements to sell our little hobby farm in South Gippsland and ‘do a big lap’.
No full lap is complete without a lap of the little island first.
So after tidying up our affairs and putting everything into storage, we celebrated Christmas with our families and hit the road.

We recently spent 7 magnificent weeks in beautiful Tasmania, then we just did a quick trip down the west coast of boring old Victoria, making our way to South Australia, quickly crossing the border before Covid struck Victoria again.
We Looked forward to slowing things down as we spend time in SA with no return date planned. We just spent 20 odd days along the Limestone coast, bagging out on Abalone most days, very few crayfish though Sad

Thanks for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to do on the way.

18-Jun-20
A trip down to Victor Harbor was organised for today with Michells&hound, primarily to get the new Adventure Lab caches down there and then working on a list of other caches that we both had not found. [^]
It was a lovely sunny day and we had a very enjoyable time driving around the area and stopping at Port Elliott Bakery for lunch. We found all the caches we looked for and turned a couple of DNF's into smilies which is always good. Big Grin

Stopped off at our second EC today and had a wander to where the sculpture was sitting. No one anywhere near GZ so we looked at the sculpture and discussed our answers before heading off. This looks like a nice new area of Victor, but we didn't have time to investigate further. Big Grin

Answers to questions sent. Thanks for this Earthcache LíB. Smile

Today I headed to Victor Harbour with JJ52 with the primary goal of doing the new lab cache there. Of course it was a bit far to go just for the labs so caches were added in. We found all the caches we looked for but a few on our list we did not attempt.
Rex also came along for the trip and he was such a good boy and he had a brilliant day out. He is knackered now.
We enjoyed an excellent bakery lunch in Port Elliot and were amazed with the number of people still queuing for pies at 2pm!
Blessed with fantastic weather it was a wonderful day for caching.
Our second EC of the day nice sculpture. TFTC LiB

Wow! How on earth did you find this one?? What a great earth cache to create from it!! Mrs. iowaPete and I parked about 300 meters away from gz and enjoyed a lovely stroll to gz along the path. It was a hot day today, but we didn't mind. Enjoyed gathering the data for the cache (for once, we didn't have to debate the answers! We concurred along all three lines of inquiry). I took a few notes. She took a few photos, and we were on our way back to the coolness of the A/C in the car.

This just may be our biggest caching day of the trip. We still have to tackle Granite Island, but I'm hopeful that we have enough daylight left to complete a sweep of the caches there.

Answers already have been sent to the CO. Favorite point coming your way....

Owl and Magpie were headed to Victor Harbor for a weekend of craft, hilarity and Bible study, but Owl insisted on stopping for a few caches on the way and Magpie obliged. The owner of the sculpture was on her sun deck, so answering the first question was just a matter of chatting with her. Then they did a wander around the area to admire the numerous sculptures, lake, heron diving for fish and other interesting bits (not just to allay suspicion!) before continuing on. A lovely little area they would not have found on their own, so a favourite.

A Victor Harbor day trip consisting of a variety of geocache collections. Following a parkrun, it was on to a trek over to Granite Island for the event with Queenslanders, webcam, Earthcaches and traditional caches, before then heading back over to the mainland collecting a few caches that Laighside Legends had not found. This included the Brian 60th puzzle series. A bakery lunch and a few more caches later, and it was late enough to head back to Adelaide. Perfect summer weather day to be around the beach!

I parked nearby, but I would definitely love to return with bikes and cycle along the path here, as it looks really nice. The answers were quickly collected here, and sent to the CO, thanks 3LG for a great Earthcache in pointing this sculpture out.

Was down visiting nikamon, so I decided to choose an earthcache in this neck of the woods on earthcache weekend, and invite nikamon with me so she could learn about this awesome cache type.

We were having quite a discussion about the answers when the owner of the sculpture came out to say g’day... they were cool about it all... gave us a bit of a giggle, though... Wink

Hevwalker had a day off and wanted to go and check on one of her caches on the Fleurieu Peninsular. I was free so we made a day of it caching our way south west in search of that elusive smilie. Razz I even managed to rectify a couple of previous DNF's but as usual added another one to the list. [B)] But it was great day will lots of walking to caches in Conservation Parks where the spring flowers were starting to be in abundance. Cool

Sculpture city around here. Really enjoyed walking along the paths nearby looking at all the sculptures and mosaics. Smile Answers sent to CO and logged in anticipation that I got it somewhere near correct. Surprised

I visited this EarthCache with FeatherWaite on a trip to the Goolwa and Victor Harbour areas, primarily to pick up a few puzzle caches we had solved.

Gevonden!

Back on the road again for another international trip. This time to Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Like our previous trips we focussed on old caches, high favorites, rare cache types and pretty locations.
Most of the trip was together with Plaguerider, Zanna and FLtravelers, but some of it I did solo.
Logs were signed as DATT (Do All The Things) and if there were answers, we typically sent them as a group.

Thanks for maintaining the caches for us.

**Trip log:**
Found during Team DATT's (Do All The Things) annual international caching trip consisting of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5 and myself. Africa kicked it all off back in 2016, with a follow up European tour last year. I tried to pitch Asia but the pull of the Great Ocean Road and completing our 6th continent was too strong, and we landed on week long road trips through both Australia and New Zealand. Before meeting the team in Sydney though, I was able to schedule some layovers in Asia (Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore), so in the end I got a bit of everything. =)

**Australia Day 7 - Victor Harbor -> Adelaide:**
A nice morning hike out to Granite Island kicked off our last full day in the country. Unfortunately we were a little too early to enjoy the horses, but it was a nice walk to the webcam. We hadn't planned on it, but ended up clearing all the caches on the island during our loop. Then it was onwards to Adelaide where we spent the rest of the day exploring the city by foot until our evening event in Light Square.

**Cache Log:**
One more fun earthcache before heading to Adelaide. Answers have been or will be sent by a team member soon.

We’re on our annual international geocaching trip as Team DATT (Do All The Things) comprised of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5, and zanna. This year we chose to explore Australia and New Zealand. Zanna and I decided to do a two-day stopover in Beijing, a three-day stopover in Bangkok, and a 12-hour layover in Singapore on our way to meet up with the rest of the team in Sydney.

Once we got the Team back together, we made a “bee-line” to Lane Cove and various caches around Sydney. Then we headed down the coast on A1. After visiting Wasp Head, we headed up through Canberra and down M31 to Melbourne, after a webcam stop on Mount Buller.

We had a great time in Melbourne, which is my favorite city in Australia so far, then onto the Great Ocean Road, the highlight of Australia for this trip. After a couple days (not nearly enough) we left the ocean road and headed up A6 towards Victor Harbor (webcam) and Adelaide (webcams) for our flight to Auckland. Seems we found every webcam in Australia.

We targeted old caches, highly favorited caches, earthcaches, virtuals, and of course webcam caches, and anything else that got our interest along the way. Logs were signed DATT. Answers, where required, were sent by one of the team members. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our trip with this cache. Great spot.

Greetings from Brisbane Big Grin. A weekend trip to Adelaide and surrounds was planned to see the sights and find some of the interesting, rarer and older geocaches you have hidden here.

Day 2: An early start was made to head into the Adelaide Hills before visiting McLaren Vale, Cape Jervis and then down to Victor Harbour. With a few hours of daylight left, I headed back into the city for a few more smilies, then climbed a hill to watch the sun dip below the horizon Big Grin.

As I was walking toward this feature, the property owner was walking toward me bit thankfully he disappeared just long enough for me to gather the info before he returned again. Phew!

Answers compiled and submitted, cool feature.

Whoo Hoo FTF! Can't tell you the last time we got a FTF, it has been a while. We used to race out the door as soon as caches were published for anything within cooee in the search for FTF but have got a bit older, busier and lazier.

Have been near this spot before for a cache find. Soon saw the sculpture and quickly answered the questions. Walked a little bit further before heading off for a few more cache finds and a bakery lunch find and then home.
