This site has recently had trees felled and there is mulch and woodchips everywhere. Unable to locate cache. If it is still findable, let us know!
Maybe it is because i have not looked for a cache for a while and i am rusty. Maybe because i ran out of time and was a bit rushed. But at the same time the whole area has been slashed / mulched recently and not sure if it has been disturbed? Anyhoo it is a dnf for me this morning.
Hi ~Tango~ I found your Flogging a dead horse. It is definitely a brilliant camo [^]! SL TFTH.
Knew I was close when I spotted a pen on the ground on approach to gz. Didn't take long to spot the camo with dumpling* Thanks ~Tango~
I liked this hide. Nana richlink spotted a pen on the ground then said 'aha it must be close by' - and it was. Thanks Tango
While in Albany visiting family we had just dropped the kids for school. A drive to the beach was called for. Having done a couple along the beach front we took to the streets. Parked close by and it was just 10 steps to entry. Fun little hide. Thanks for the cache From Melbourne
Clever hide. Eagle eyes Geo Dad spotted it this afternoon. Going back to Perth tomorrow after enjoying our yearly Albany pilgrimage. Love this place. TFTC
Found on a windy day on our tour visiting Western Australia - together with Me&B.
Good idea

It was about time I got back around to having another go at this one having last paid an unsuccessful visit a few months ago.
GPS must have been playing up last time as I was searching in a different area today and made the find after about five minutes.
Thanks for another cache Tango.
Cheers

Out for a sunday arvo walk with kiwinic, we thought we'd try this neat lil cache. It was not easily found but we got there in the end. A clever hide! TFTC
Thanks for the Cache unable to sign log as didn't bring a Pen - give s Dog a Bone
TFTC! Had a grand weekend away with Cravo10, mugglewife and ItsKate visiting Albany and just about everywhere in between.
We left Perth on Friday travelling via every known backroad and side road known to the maps and maybe even a few not quite so known! Managed to grab a bunch of caches between Perth and Albany on the western side of the highway including a FTF at Boscabel, yeah Boscawhere?? Never heard of it either.
Got into Albany significantly later than we otherwise should have, but managed to get up early the following day to grab a bunch of caches around frenchmans bay, sand patch near the windfarm and further down towards Nullaki and finally around to Denmark.
Got the car nice and dirty on the back roads near the windfarm much to the delight of mugglewife!! NOT!!
Unfortunately the weather didn't work in our favour as we had planned a trip out to bold head to cleanup all out there followed by some kayaking to pickup the Camp Q adventure trail caches but the stars weren't aligned properly for that. But there's always next trip!!
We got up early the following day and grabbed a few caches around town before heading on the road back to Perth, not just Albany highway but every road east of the highway along all the back routes through cranbrook, tambellup, Katanning, Narrogin, high bury and finally back through Willian's with some side detours on the way!!
Had a great weekend and even managed to sneak in a visit with the inlaws who were more than accomodating. Thanks to all of the COs for the caches and we can't wait to come back soon. Thanks

After recently returning back to Perth after my stay was cut short in Albany by a year it was finally time to return. Catching up with old friends, cache maintenance, FTF opportunities And more green dots to convert to smiles lead to a great reason to head back down the highway.
barnzy12 and I had both been planning trips back to Albany and soon realised we had picked the same weekend.(well that's they story the partners are getting)
The drive down was not the quickest due to the intense deviation needed to clear the map however very enjoyable never the less.
All caches were found and replaced in good condition. Thanks to the CO's for bringing me to the great locations that I got to see and drive past.
Happy hunting, Cravo10

A quick find by GeoDad:) We found on our big road trip down to the SW to Nannup, Denmark, Walpole & Albany. We were doing a bit of early morning caching after we went out for breakfast on this perfectly warm & sunny day for winter. It's like spring. We couldn't have asked for better weather the last few days on our holiday. Now off to the Whaling station. It better be worth it for $64!
Staying at Middleton Beach Caravan Park for the weekend to see the Albany Classic Round the Houses Car event. Always a great spectacle with some interesting and historically important cars competing.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks ~Tango~ for placing this cache.

It was getting dark so torches were in order. We all split up and thankfully one had the cache in quick order.

Find #7392**
Day seven of my across the Nullarbor, then to Perth via Denmark trip began with a convoy of Victorians, (Alansee, Mica Paramedic and Maccamob) all heading for Albany. The weather wasn't fantastic, but it wasnt raining either, so that was a plus.
Another one found at close to dark, dinner time yet?
**Thanks to ~Tango~ for the cache. TNLN**

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with micaparamedic, Alansee and ahomburg (sometimes logged as M.A.A.M. or A.M.M.A.), at 1725. This one made us laugh out loud! Our thanks to ~Tango~.
Very tired today but found it very quickly. Perhaps fatigue helps! Forgot our pen so did not leave a message.
Found this one a week ago and didn't realize I hadn't logged it. So, great spot to explore and learn the history of, and interesting to walk around. The cache was fun too. Many thanks.
Great hide! Sometimes you just have to step back and look around... I searched several wrong spots before finally seeing the cache. Thank you for the hide ~Tango~.
Surprisingly a nice quick find found a hole in a tree so had a quick look in there with no luck turned around to look elsewhere and there it was great hide. TFTC
Had an hour to kill this afternoon so we tackled a few caches around - this one took us by far the longest to find! Scratched our head what the "hint" might mean, looked in all the available great hiding places and were about to give up when there it was! "Staring me in the eye" so to speak...
Tft nifty hide Tango and another smile on the map

Bit behind in our logging. Found with Allinaday. Tricky.....we searched in lots of places, then there it was. Good one!! Thanks Mr Tango.
Absolutely brilliant!! Like others before us, we searched around for a while here as well. The possibilities are endless, but soon enough we spotted it. Thanks for a fun cache Tango.
Cruised here while going for a jog, and was at the point of giving up after a lengthy fruitless hunt. Logs, bushes, grass ... so many potential spots for a hide, arrggh! And suddenly, there it was! Was I ever pleased to make the find! A clever, sneaky little hide, that I'm awarding with a favourite because of the grief and frustration it caused me! (with the hope that it will foil other geocachers too!) TFTC Tango.
This tricky on had us going for a bit but we tracked it down. Thanks for your cache ~Tango~.
I putted into GZ this morning to find this caching bone
A nice easy find while lots of mutterings came from nearby.
"Where's that gone ??".
"No not the rough !! ".
Etc, etc ...
Later in the day I found the new clubhouse [:o]
Bit posh

My golf balls end up going bush too.....got to look well to find it. 3m accuracy. Great effort
Nice to find out what happened to the old golf club. All has disappeared except the parking area. Bet the current club members are happy with their part of the deal. TFTC
Little ripper! We were ferreting around GZ with me repeating over and over "Don't get too flattened.. What does that mean??" We started to lose interest ever so slightly when yours truly turned around and said "oh there it is". What a cool cache! Fave point from us! TFTH Tango!
Cruising around with lyn pat grabbing a few caches before heading home, had us scratching around for a few minutes.
Have had such a great day at the 15th birthday bash of Albany Quarantine that we got home and decided to head out for some caches in the dark! Took us a bit of searching and we're starting to loose hope but then all of a sudden, there it was! Pumped to get a Ftf on this one at 713pm! Thanks for the cache tango very clever hide
