Arrived at very quiet area and spotting the area that would have held the historical Abbotsford. One can only imagine what the house looked like at the end of the driveway. It took a few minutes after tying my shoelaces to find the hide that held the cache TFC Booos
A quick find today in an attempt to fill the missing gaps in the calendar. TFTC
Last find for the day.
I love historic houses but I had trouble seeing any ruins here, really had to use my imagination!
It is very picturesque out here so it would have been a lovely spot to live in the early 1800s.
Finding the cache was much easier with spot on co-ordinates. Left my monika on the log and rehid the cache.
I wonder what the last person found? Not this cache as you wouldn't fit a $50 inside that container!

Back logging this. We found this one after being in the area for soccer. I was happy that there were jo muggles watching today! phewww. tftc
Found with MrD after eventually spotting a good hidey hole. The muggle across the road was interested as to why so many people stop here a lot, so we explained our hobby and he went away satisfied we were not doing anything illegal. Good hide again. TFTC
A quick find on a pleasant day's caching with Brewmaker. Gave a quick caching intro to a concerned local.

Last time I was here, the muggle across the road had just gotten out of his pool and was staring at me intently so I had to abandon the mission before it had even started! Thankfully today the coast was clear and is was a quick park and grab in the obvious spot. Tftc!
A day out in Picton.
I nice quick find after geeing myself up to put my hand in there.

Awesome spot! Loved this. Very quick find and so lovely to take a moment to enjoy the scenery.
If I wasn’t so worried about the spiders it would have taken 2 second. Couldn’t see without fingers
Fastest find yet, a literal park and grab in every sense. Fantastic spot though!
Love the historical caches. Beaut old gates nearby .
Sneaky hide but found .
Thanks to The boos.

Found this on a cool winters day. What a great big old tree.
Thanks The Boos for the hide.
Thanks The Boos for the hide.
I remember looking for this one several years ago without success. Today I had much more experienced geosenses and spotted the likely hiding spot quite quickly.
What a great tree which marks the old homestead.
Thanks for another nice homestead find, The Booos

Found with Littl3Vix. A nice and quick park and grab today, I spotted the hide as I looked at GZ. Tftc!
TFTC thus one was a quick one on yhe way through our geocache adventure day. Having a great time with MizCupcake
I looked for a good 10 mins and actually got back in the car to head off when I thought I would give it one more go. On the verge of giving up again I spotted a spot that I hadn’t checked yet and sure enough there it was! Good hide! Thankyou
We went to look for this cache in the early morning fog - it was quite eerie. Accurate coordinates and an interesting feature at GZ led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Booos for the cache.
No find for meI needed to get out of the house so I wouldn't go nuts and needed some peace and quiet... Out to the west!
No find for me, sorry.
No find for me, sorry.
Ticking off a few caches in the area and I came across this one. Quick find and sign and we were back on the road
Its been a long time since i found a cache by The Booos but in typical fashion this wasn't a typical cache, well in as much as there were plenty of standard hiding places but this one was hidden in one that was unique to this location. Took me a few minutes but when I finally spotted where it might be I thought how could I miss that. TFTC
We did come here, but people in the house nearby did not stop looking at us out their window, so we left.
Round two on this cache and we finally found it.. Stumped us the first time round but after a couple of today's finds I managed to get it.. Notched another up on the cache belt!
Out with thomo31 for the day- we had spent quite a while and I had called it, but thomo31 wanted one more look. Then o spotted something i. Hadn’t seen before and bingo! Thanks
Finally after 15mins of looking down the ditch we read logs that said "not down the ditch!!!" Looked around still nothing. Gave up and heading back to the car and I said just one more look and WaywardWoman "notched" up anothe find!
Out for the day caching with Oldmorty, down and around Picton. A great day was had.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Another early start for a days caching with caching buddy marj01. The plan was to pick up where we left off last week and visit the towns of Camden South, Razorback, Thirlmere and Couridjah. Lots of caches were found quite quickly while some others took a little longer and a few we didn't find at all. Once again there were a few ingenous caches amongst the usual film canisters, mint tins and sistemas of varying shapes and sizes. Thank you to all the CO's for hiding and maintaining the caches visited today.
#4843 (4 of 9 today)
Need more calendar day finds today. OK I was after four but since I had the chance to overdo it...
Decided to head south and pick up some of the stray caches around Picton and The Oaks. Ones I've missed or bypassed... Even so, I left a few closer to the towns for later.
Got nine overall, but a lot of backtracking and driving along dead ends was involved. And I'm sure I could have picked a more efficient route.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
After backtracking to the last cache, it was full steam ahead to this one.
Parked close by and walked to GZ. Checked a few things to no effect, and then was struck by something. I wonder...
Gotcha!
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Then took a look at the ruins and the Community Notice Board. Really?

Searched for a while with no luck. Read previous logs which gave a couple of vague hints. Got there in the end.
An interesting historic place.

I looked about; failed to find the cache. Read the logs, which told me nothing useful, except that the cache was not in the drain. I wasn't planning to search there anyhow. I returned for another look and found the cache...instantly. DOH! TFTC The Booos.
I had about a hour or so between the Senior Women's and Senior men's (division 5) games of Aussie rules at Wilton...so of course I had to look for a few more caches in Picton. Even though I was flying solo, Finalf29 was off enjoying himself at Comicgong, I found three.
This was my last for the arvo. Didn't take long to zone in on this one. Thanks for the history
